2027 will be the most expensive election in our history, the end of PMBs tenure also marked the end of any cult like following. The north is all about the money now, the social vices like kidnapping is a testament of this. Do the coalition have more money than the APC? Do they know how to spend money more wisely than the APC?

APC has money from Lagos, Rivers, Bayelsa, and Akwa Ibom. Kano is most likely in the bag, Kaduna and Katsina most likely are going to be a battle ground states. There is most likely going to be an exodus from ADC after the primarys. There are only 2 Frontline candidates in ADC and both of them have to run in this election cos they don't stand a chance in 2031, who will step down for who?

With how things stand I call it for APC.

I still believe Obi going to ADC is a wrong move, his numbers at the last polls shows that he really doesn't need a new platform, what he needs is strong alliance up north. A great Negotiation and alliance with Kwankwaso will be a lot more beneficial. The gladiators in ADC are too many and the champions in politics are too strong for Obi.

I still believe Obi will decamp from ADC because they won't give him the ticket and by that time it might be a little too late to form an alliance.

The 2027 elections is going to be the most expensive and voter financially induced election in our history.

All this one is just long story, the big problem is who will be the presidential candidate and running mate. The true test of the efficacy of their coming together is their flag bearer. If it is not Atiku, they dont stand a chance, if they choose Atiku, they will have a southern problem to deal with. The likes of aregbesola cant be trusted should they not get their way, its indeed going to be an interesting run.

Bob D should making politics look personal, there is a certain dynamics it takes to win an election. Kwankwaso can deliver 4m votes easily from Kano, it would only be stupid to not engage him. Peter Obi made the mistake of choosing a running mate that couldn't win his LGA and look how that turned out. Politics is about numbers and what you are willing to do to get it. As for Shetima, Ali modu Sherrif controls the state and VP is one of his boys, satisfy Ali and the state is yours.

Savings is a great culture but it becomes useless when you have obligations that require fulfillment.
You saved money and didn't build necessary infrastructure like education, transportation and trade. Thanks to inflation these infrastructure keep on getting expensive as time goes.

Hello Guys, let me first of all say the cliché "It is well".

Now let we start.
I met my wife years back just before the COVID-19 year during which we dated for almost a year and then eventually got married just when the lock down was reducing. I started this story this way because I wanted to emphasis that during that period, we had so much time to bond and she was mostly available to me as she only worked on shifts 2 to 3 days per week.
We could sit and talk for long, go out at late nights and have great s*x as frequently as we needed.

This I think gave me a mirage of an anticipated marriage life so I didn't hesitate to take it a step further ones the lockdown was relaxed.
I also made it clear to her that her job would have to give way when their kids start coming as I had plans to assist her further her edu and also put up a biz for her.

Speed up to after COVID-19, she resumed work which till this day demands 5 days a week and 2 to 3 Saturdays per month all from 7:45am till 5pm. Often times she'd return home tired and would manage to make dinner and off to bed till the next day circle continues.
It became worse when we started having children. I drive them to school as early as 7:40am before dropping her off at her job. And then I'll pick them up by 5:30pm or 6pm when she's done with her job for the day (let me mention that this extends to public holidays and school holidays or breaks).

I got tired and in December 2025 I told her she has to quit the job. My plan was to enroll her back into a private school after my kids are Upto 4 years as one of them still depends on breast milk. I also gave her the option of starting a business which I understand is a dynamic move and might not be successful, but at this stage of my life it's something I could afford to risk and so I didn't mind.

I must also mention that out of a 100% sex, 50% is not mutual as I could sense she isn't interested and 40% is a denial as she would rather deny me of s*x with the excuse that she is tired.

Simply put, I'm tired.
I'm a Christian and divorce isn't an option. Also I can't cheat, but I am starved of s*x and my kids are not given the attention they deserve.
Pls advice me

Be careful how you handle this matter, women too require a job to give them fulfillment or a sense that they matter in life. So your wife has to balance a triangle in her life, which are her job, her children and her husband. Unfortunately, you the husband are getting the shortest end of the triangle.

What you both need is a reconnection, by the way it can be an hormonal issue or a health challenge, but you guys have to have an honest conversation without you nagging of lack of attention. On of these Fridays just buy ice cream put it in the freezer and tell her you have date night, get the kids to bed early and you guys sit and have ice cream and talk, ask her what her challenges are and how you can help make the burden lighter, express your need for sex and how it's important to your wellbeing, ask if you can come up with a system that can be mutually beneficial to both of you.

The problem is that of a standard operating procedure of the police. What exactly are the conditions to which an officer of the police discharged his weapon? I was at a eatery some time ago and there was a check point close by, and an officer discharged his weapon on a vehicle that refused to stop, my children were seated in my car. We confronted the officer on why he had to discharge his weapon and they ganged up on us on why we had to complain, one of the officers even said are we saying his oga cannot handle a weapon effectively. Unfortunately, there are no consequences to these actions I can bet that the officer that killed that child will be let off the hook once the dust settles. The police as an institution is weak.

One of the things I've learnt is in Nigerian politics is the difference between an Administrator and a politician. El-Rufai is an administrator, he only became governor because of the Buhari tsunami. The sad part is that administrators are tools in the hands core politicians. Look how Tinubu use him and dumped him, he didn't even see it coming.

This kind of thinking is what gets us into trouble. A stadium in Nigeria is not an income producing asset . We have countless stadiums that are close to being grave yards. In other places like Europe and America, a healthy disposable income allows for stadiums to become income producing. In Nigeria poverty is too high to make a stadium business viable.

Some people don't understand why Zenlensky has to go. In 1991 the Russians and the Americans came to accord to after the cold war and it was agreed that no country on the boarders of Russia will be admitted into NATO, this was agreed to avoid a similar situation like the Cuba missile crisis. The Americans have continually tried to break this accord since president Clinton. The world has suffered hyper inflation as a result of this war, food prices are high, the only logical thing to do is to de-escalate this war and allow both countries to rebuild.

Find out the effects of AI on your field of expertise and become the person that can use AI to meet that change. For instance I create art pieces, through AI I have been able to replicate ancient art pieces which would have required getting a graphic designers to replicate.

A lot of companies are begining to develop more efficient ways of solving their problems, there is also a rumoured financial crisis coming soon and with the entrance of AI, a lot is changing in the tech world, as a result of these changes a lot of companies are going to have to freeze employment. Data analysis of instant is something that AI can do a lot better than a human being. Research on how AI can help you do data analysis better and faster and rework your CV making it your core skill.

First of all it is land that appreciates, the building on the land doesn't. I used to think that rent was a good investment until I personally experienced the drawbacks in the sector.

If you build a house, you have to do proper maintenance every 5 years to ensure that the returns keep coming.

Secondly rent and property laws are very weak in Nigeria, a tenant can pay rent for a year stay in your investment for free for 3 years, move out on the 5th year after damaging the property severely.

I think we need to rethink real estate in Nigeria, a real estate investment doesn't have to be residential. We need to explore other options like mixed used real estate and agricultural real estate

Our economy is in coma, two of the quickest ways of turning things around is increasing production and taxes, I don't understand this complain about rush. The governor of Borno insinuated that this bill should take 20 years like the PIB did on the floor of NASS.

This bill will ensure that people who earn a million and below which is about 70% of our work population won't pay taxes and for some reasons it shouldn't be passed? What exactly is the colour of our problem?

Our elite and lazy politicians are against the bill because it will require them to pay more and also force our governors to create production in their states.

I am pro people anything that will keep money in the average citizens pocket get my nod.

Less than a week, I employed this boy o, to manage my gas filling retail business and POS.
He displayed passion, initiative and experience about the gas filling business and handling of POS....so I just took the chance, we also speak same language. I've been acting nice and all but I think I now know why most Nigerian bosses are mean to their workers by default

Now from first cylinder we couldn't account for 10kg
Second cylinder was started today by him......when I told him to calculate everything sold from first cylinder based on daily record book ....it felt short of 10kg
.
From the sales from second cylinder that started today, The account book does not tally with what is remitted through ATM/POS mode of payment .....I dint know this until I checked my Moniepoint acct as I got home now cos my phone was dead before I went to the shop this evening
.
Even the POS part of the business does not tally with the cash I gave him this morning for people who need cash withdrawal
.
I'm boiling right now realizing the boy had lied to me when balancing the account this night using the record book, only to get home and power my phone to see cash fell short of 23k in my monie point acct linked to the POS
.

How do you handle boys who think they are smarter than you because theyve been in the business before?

And what are your experiences with dishonest workers in your business , especially this gas retail business or POS business

This sounds more like negligence and no training.

Do you know why companies do 90 days training or trading school or graduate trainee programs? It's so that inexperienced people don't come mess up their business.

You employed someone, gave him a few instructions and expect him to run your business like you do. Really?

Oga sit down in your shop and sell your market, let the boy become your assistant first, let him gradually learn the ropes of your business and see you handle difficult situations.

Should you choose to punish the boy, it will be unfair because he wasn't well trained to manage a business it took you years to master in a week.

The simple answer can be yes or no! But looking at it critically, a mother's love is different from the love of a wife and we all have the capacity to properly compartmentalise these love.

What is truly different between a mother and a wife is influence, most of their fued are not about any other thing than influence on the son or husband, that ability to assert control.

A mother builds this influence over time, a wise wife will make time her ally and build influence.

I sympathise with all farmers, it's super tough to have invested so much into planting and a drought of a month messes yield up. Just out of curiosity has anyone tried drip irrigation with local parts like a tank, punctured pvc pipes or hoses, pumps, valves etc? We may not be able to afford when foreign implements, but we can sure make local replication to solve our problems.
