Asquare84:god's no strike politicians Wen dey oppress the people na people Wen don already sleep with themselves hin go strike. Abeg! |
dre11:Employers will change the thing to date of graduation. |
dukechilezie:With this new wave of AI, almost everyone irrespective of age have to unlearn and relearn. At 35 I would advise you go on the journey of discovering your gift than learning a skill. Gifts are constants, skills are dynamic. |
nlfpmod:You can't chase away foreign companies because you have certain prejudices about them. If you go after a foreign company from a particular extraction, you give the perception to other foreign company's that their time is coming, this ultimately will reduce the size of their investment thereby reducing opportunities. The best way of getting rid of a company is creating better product and services at competitive prices. It's unfortunate that our people still don't understand what a minimum wage regime should look like. Minimum wage is the least any citizen of working age should earn for their work. Increasing minimum wage to 75k is going to be insane, our economy isn't that strong. Government in general doesn't employ up to 20% of our viable work force, the large companies and banks don't employ up to 20% of our viable work force, more than 60% of our workforce work in SMEs or mSMEs, the question is have they been able to pay the 30k minimum wage? PAN, Coscharis, Nord, and a lot of other guys are producing or have the capacity to produce cars in Nigeria, why do we have to single out innoson and back him up? This very act perpetrated by the PDP destroyed so many businesses thereby leaving us at the mercy of monopolist. Open the market to everyone let them compete, the best product or services wins, we need to stop manipulating markets. We need to learn from history, not long ago we had issues with cattle rearers and land grabbing, we can't hand over land to people because they have a potential for agriculture. Instead, create a state government agriculture reserve, at the reserve we can have mechanised equipments farmers can rent, portions of land are leased to farmers for an agricultural season spanning say 18 months. After the season you have to renew the lease. We can have police stations and min army base around the reserve, even seed and fertilizer sharing would be the responsibility of the reserve management. |
Englishisamust:There are 3 things that consume ones earnings in Lagos. The first is transportation, next is accomodation, the last is consumption & entertainment. If possible live in close proximity to your job, if spend less than 10% of your earnings on transportation, you are way ahead of the curve. For accommodation you can cut cost by getting shared living space, that way utilities and other associated accomodation cost is shared. Lastly, you will have to cook your own meals, especially the meals you eat during work periods, things like clubbing, chilling at a bar or hanging out with friends have to be severely moderated. |
Kalatium:As much as I'm not a fan of rushing into marriage, there are a number of factors that require one to try and fasttrack things. Life expectancy in Nigeria is 52 years, meaning that by statistics, the longer it takes to get married the lesser the time one can stay married, enjoy children and grand children, beat wealth, beat inflation etc. |
A countryman calling another countryman's votes wasted, that is 8.7 million votes oh. |
seunmsg:There is a reason masses is the masses and elite is the elite. Look at the elite building bridges very early into an administration, the masses are shouting not my president. Figure out how this administration will favour you is key, prosperity doesn't answer to "we" it answers to "I". |
chisomkachy:As much as we would like to see transparency in our courts ruling, we need to be careful how we set precedence. So we open up elections petition tribunal should some party not get the desired result, will they now insist the appeal courts, high courts, and supreme court's proceedings be televised? If we are not careful terrorists will insist on open trial, for a country without witness protection, any witness can be target of miscreants attack. Even our judges will be exposed. Let's think this thing thoroughly before we act. |
promisedwealth:What you are experiencing is called a change of status syndrome. Your wife has been fully dependent on you, now she has left for this long and has to carve a niche for herself, thereby becoming independent. She basically has to do everything for herself and the kids which pops a question in her head "why do I need a husband?". Of course your pet name will be flushed down the toilet, pet names are emotionally given, used and driven. You should have scheduled routine visits of maybe a fortnightly initially when they moved, she has needs, sexual emotional, financial etc, how did you intend them to be met? She will react to unmet needs. The kids will keep asking questions that she can't answer, the one year old barely knows you. As it stands you are the key to sustaining your marriage, go to Lagos and check on your family, don't expect your wife to show you much love, at this point you have to earn her love again. Apologise for not being available. While you are in Lagos do a feasibility study of things, if you have a friend catch up with them and discuss opportunities. Decide on what you will do should your wife be involved with another man, but don't act or take action until she confirm she is in another relationship. |
Omicronvaccine:64 people in a transition committee, is on the high side ooh! The work is not free, they are going to be paid. |
Fineman2:You created this problem, there is what you needed and there is what you wanted. What you wanted was a love of your life, to take away your sorrow. What you needed was first of all a mother to your daughter and then a wife/ companion. Now you have a woman who doesn't understand her purpose and power. I wish you godspeed in turning this mess around. |
oxygeng:No tantrums were thrown on my path, I just started a fact that has been corroborated by even the governors there. Godspeed |
oxygeng:Wow!!! How did we even get to politics? |
pandoragirigory:Baba was the Dino or FFK of Sage Awolowo, when Awo died the baton was passed to Bola Ige, after Bola Ige died, it became a shared baton between the leaders of Afenifere pa Fasoranti, Abraham Adesanya, Baba and others. They decided on the politics of the SW. They tried to remove Tinubu via impeachment, Pa Adesanya pleaded they gave him another chance. Immediately Tinubu was in the clear, he began to rendered them powerless, the nail in the coffin for them was when OBJ wanted to run for second term, he convinced them that they should support his ambition, Tinubu refused, insisting the have their own candidate to run against OBJ they didn't listen. OBJ took all SW states for PDP save Lagos state. It is rumoured that Pa Adesanya died of heartbreak due to Tinubu, of course since then Afenifere lost all political influence in the SW, so it's no secret that Pa Adebanjo does like Tinubu for many reasons. |
Kwashiman:I don't believe this herdsmen narrative, it may have started as herdsmen but it has been hijacked by criminal elements. It is either there is a terrorist militia that have not been named or criminal locals are perpetrating this crime. A case study is the southeast, they claimed it was herdsmen but it now clear that the crime is being perpetrated by locals. I pray their new governor will get to the bottom of this barbaric killings. |
I'm afraid some of us don't fully understand how global politics works. The one who controls world energy controls the world, Saudi Arabia control the prices of world energy, America has an alliance with Saudi, military equipments for control of oil prices by denominating the price of oil in US dollar. The Saudi's control an oil cartel called OPEC, by proxy America controls world energy. The whole BRICS propaganda has been gaining momentum, but if the can't control world energy it's dead on arrival, secondly how do they agree on the world defacto currency is it rubles or rupees or rand or yuan? Who gets to get absolute power? Trade between 2 countries in their currencies is dependent on the value each country can bring to the table, the moment a country dipps in value the alliance becomes porous. |
Antimandatethie:Politics is a game, play the game. The funny thing is that the southwest the lesson of political inclusion from the southeast. Awolowo was always playing the regional card while Zik was I alliance with the north. Akintola, Awolowo's deputy was tired of the regional game and wanted to play national, of course Awo didn't agree this cause a rift between them, split the political structure. Awo lost big time. There has to be some political diversity from the southeast, what does the southeast expect when they give 90% of their votes to a party that came third? They will get ordinary treatment, it will be folly to expect extra ordinary treatment. The seat of senate President is eluding the southeast because of this same problem. The Northwest want the senate President seat because they delivered for the APC and they have a valid claim, they are even using it to push a 2027 agenda already. |
Sunnyshinylight:Welcome to party politics Labour party. The effects of proper party structure is playing out. |
Yourprick:Government control is too deep in Nigeria. We have very weak incentives for production. If the government doesn't take interest in a sector, it's very difficult to thrive in it. The only production subsectors working have had some form of government intervention, Cement, telco's, oil. FMCGs are shutting down, we don't have textile or electronics industries. Things |
AllMight:You need to be explicit about what you want. All you have said about both ladies are surface deep. What are your values? Which of the ladies have similar values? What are your dreams and aspirations? Do either of them fit into helping you get them? What are these ladies looking for in a man? Do you fit the description? Go on a date with these ladies and ask deep questions. |
Pussykills:Like you keep count of them? I think the problem you have is that of sex adventure, you are looking for a new experience with every sexual episode. Unfortunately, the more you seek new experiences the weaker you are to hold down a meaningful relationship, this is so because the most crucial factor to you in a relationship is sex. The feeling of love has different components like mutual interest, honesty& openness, respect, emotional support, financial support, sex, reliability, etc. Until you redefine what love is to you, you are stuck in this bubble. |
adenigga:Census in Nigeria is primarily for determine how to share allocation to states. It might make political sense to be numbered in your state of origin, it doesn't make social sense as your state of residence will suffer financial shortfall thereby affecting it daily running. The future is states generating income that far out ways fed allocation. |
Obi is not a bad person, he is just not skilled in the act of Nigerian politics. All politicians use the ethnic and religious card and get away with it, but because of the I can never do wrong persona he put out he is getting the backlash. To be honest the reason Peter Obi didn't win is his deputy Datti. Peter Obi had a great outing in the south and parts of the NC. Datti couldn't get the core north to give LP 30% votes, that would have been enough to swing the elections in their favour. Peter Obi should have pressed president Obasanjo to prevail on Kwankwaso to be his running mate, the odds would have been better up north. These people are going to continually dig up dirt on Peter Obi, till they get what can bury him. I hope the LP start working on the different facets of structure for their party. It is really irritating to know that a presidential candidate was making calls on an insecure line, call encryption isn't expensive, why did the labor party communication team not get a secure line for Peter Obi? |
ganisucks:There are better ways of ensuring the credibility of aspirants than charging them exorbitant fees. All our political parties are the same. |
benjackugo: |
obembet:When 2 healthy adults engage in unprotected sex there are only 2 outcomes, irrespective of the contraception used. Either the woman gets pregnant or she doesn't. There is no mistakes here, one or the other has to occur. unfortunately, women are at the receiving end as they have to host the pregnancy. Since this is the case, they have to be a lot more responsible in handling their sexual affairs than men. A man who wants you as a woman will do whatever you make a requirement to get you, the problem is a few women make very weak requirements. A man is not obligated to marrying a woman he got pregnant. |
NIGERIAJAGAJAGA:Honestly, the subsidy of 4 trillion naira has been a waste these past few years. I would have rathered they used the money to build mass transit regional train networks so we have rails linking all the SW, SS,SE, NC, NE& NW states. Then individual states also have to invest in mass transit. Also investing in power will cut a huge chunk of our petrol consumption. |
Spurs present structure is anemic to success. Irrespective of how talented the manager is, they don't soar above their average. Chelsea is going to face same issues, Roman knew how to always get them out of a hole with money, but the new owners won't be willing to go that far. Spurs needs to be sold to solve it's problems. |
Ehinjuola:Dear sir, One of the keys to a successful relationship is effective communication. You have to talk with your lady. I think the cold feet is coming from the fact that you only decided to go along with her wish to get married because of the pregnancy. You need to reassure her she is the priced jewel not the pregnancy. Secondly, unplanned knowledge that one will be a parent can take it's toll on soon to be parents. Years of premeditated plans are just brushed aside for the soon coming new addition, it can take some getting used to. Proper communication, planning, and recalibration is necessary. This is not the time to give her space, it is the time to help each other heal and prepared for the little on. Try to spend more time together, go out to her favourite places as much as your budget will permit, reassure her all will be fine, and have honest conversation about your future. |
EBMedia:Lol! It has always been like this, but because of vested interest people are just noticing. At least now we know the thug problem is not just a Lagos problem. Labor party made a very big blunder, in areas they enjoyed great support, they ought to have a volunteer security team of their supporters. Seeing 6 hefty battle ready guys will to some extent dieter tugs. |
lightuplightup:Prehistorically it has always been like this, the presidential elections enjoy a lot of attention than the gubernatorial elections, however this one is extreme. Obidents should have pushed more today than on the presidential elections. The foundations built today will further their cause in 2027, that is if they will still be interested. The road to change things is not a sprint race, it is a marathon. |
