Hi guys!

I have an unexpected two weeks holiday from school and finally decided to do something on the web. So I downloaded xampp, configured some stuffs, downloaded smf, customised it amd everything works fine! Now, all I need is a good and fast webhosting plan to host the site. Anyone with ideas or info on a cheap webhosting plan that includes a free domain name should please post it.

Please, experienced users of webhosting plans, I need your advice on issues to consider and your recommendations on starting a forum.

Anyone who has info on hosting a video viewing site should please post it here. I messed around with one of 'em CMS's and created one but I dont know how much I'll need to get it on the web. Any ideas?

Thanks 4 replying guys. Thing is I'm a student and not into web programming. I only study c++ & java as an hobby so I don't have any knowledge of the web design/programming prices. I just thought up what I'm thinking might be a great killer app/new kind of web portal and decided to find a developer. I'm sorry 'bout the prices but it's what I have. If anybody is willing and capable of executing my ideas at the price, the person may get 30 percent of site earnings after expenses for two years if the site is sucessful. Who's willing?
Note: The site requires advanced coding experience. Knowledge of how those publish on facebook and tweeter work.

How do you know what they are doing? I can't see anything that looks like a webpage on their screens, STOP BASHING OUR YOUTH.

I've been using it on my n93 and it works great even though I don't have gps on my phone. The only problem is that many parts of Nigeria are not yet fully covered on the map, even lagos is not fully covered. Lack of gps on my phone also makes it impossible to know my location with pin point accuracy. Instead, my location is accurate to about 300 KM or something.

We could try listing places that are accurately covered on the map. User defined locations should be ignored unless we can prove pin point accuracy.

I had to abandon my old laptop because of problems relating to it's speed. I tried everything people suggested( defragmentation, cleaning the registry, etc and finally formatting ) all to no avail. I eventually bought a new one which came with windows 7. The problem may be from several issues ranging from software to hardware. Your best bet will be to hand the computer to an expert to examine before any other thing goes wrong,

@ HQ: You got it. They really messed the game up in many ways. They changed so many aspects so suddenly but I've been sticking with it and I'm starting to enjoy it. The Master League mode has become more interesting although the Become A Legend mode is slightly similar to PES 2009's version. The major difference in the modes is that the Champions League has been incorporated into the other modes meaniing you can participate in the Champions league no matter what club competition mode you are engaged in. You should stick to PES,

Using your team is interesting, Using a lower team is more challenging.

What is your video card model? I think you'll need a recently manufactured video card ( made in 2008 or 2009 ) suitable for gaming. ATI or NVIDIA video cards are your best bet if you want to enjoy this game and other new games and they usually . New games require vido cards with either pixel shader model 2 or 3. If your video card doesn't have it, The game might still work but not at the best quality. Your current video card memory meets the minimum video card memory requirement but you should also check if it has pixel shaders.

As far as being the champ, You will surely be challenged by the new gameplay. Everything is a little more difficult. The difficulties are also not well balanced. Imagine winning the AI at regular difficulty by 5 or 7 goals in the first half only! The only challenge is the Top Player difficulty. The trouble is, when you're using good teams like barcelona or madrid, thhe AI also seems week after a while and the only way I enjoy the game is by using random teams to play agaist the big teams. You should try using any small not too popular team to compete in the champions league, SWEET CHALLENGE!

PES 2010 places more emphasis on realistic gameplay, scenery and player resemblance than other versions of PES. You will notice a lot of differences from the moment you start the game till the peep of the whistle by the referee. The emphasis on realism has slowed the game down a bit and you may sometimes get frustrated by this. No more easy sharp turns, Movement of the players now require more precisions and goal scoring is easier.

You should note that not all transfers can be implemented in the game due to timing and licensing constraints. I however have been able to update my own version with patches annd kitservers I was able to download from the net. My PES 2010 now has all the correct team logos and jerseys as well as correct team names, additional teams and competitions(bundesliga - german league) and a customised barcelona menu. PES 2009 versions of this patches and kitservers are also available but very difficult to find and install. I'll try checking for the links later.

Regarding the POP version, I don't think it has any suffix. It is simply called Prince Of Persia in the manual I have. You could ask anyone who has a PS3 or XBOX 360 to tell you about it. I think it is the same version. I can't remember where I stopped nor the storylines of the previous versions. You should try reading a walkthrough of the game. I don't do night calls but I'll try staying up someday next week so we could talk.

Okay. I'll get info soon. Don't bother about the PS2 emulators. It's not yet stable enough for people to enjoy it. I've played that version of POP too but I didn't play it for long. The POP version I'm playing is the one they released in 2008.

I need Gears Of War 2! Just so you know, I don't have the DVD version of the PES 2010. I only have the ripped version and I simply copied the folders from my bro's laptop onto mine. It's about 6 or 7 gig and I don't have a fast internet connection.

AVIRA Antivirus stinks! I used it once and I've hated it ever since. I installed it on my new laptop running windows 7 and it was supposed to notify me each time it found any threat and it did that only once. I thought it was good that one time cuz it prevented me from transferring a worm to my laptop from a flash drive. Later in the day, I was about to play a game but could not find some of my games' executable files. I didn't even waste my time deleting it. I quickly downloaded AVG and my laptop has had no problems since then.

I never said it wasn't good. I was just lamenting on the sudden unexpected change of various aspects of the game especially game play. For example if you compare player movements in 2010 and 2009, you'd realize that the 2009 version was more flexible. You could change directions easily without worrying about anything because you were totally in control. Playing the 2010 version, my mind drifted back to early 2008 when I could't get a copy of PES 08 and had to settle with FIFA 08. Controlling the players my own way was impossible and not as precise as I would have liked. Sometimes the simple task of dropping the characters shoulder's and changing directions quickly becomes a burden because of the way their movements have been programmed. Sometimes, they kick the ball farther than you anticipated resulting in a disruption of what you had in mind. There's also other issues but I'm beginning to adjust my style to it. Goal scoring seems easier but I can't be sure of that till I start using weaker and random teams. Then players also seem more intelligent and the CPU is thankfully much better at defending although I think it won't be so lucky when I finally get a hang of the movements and stuff,

I didn't even spend up to 5 mins looking around the new GUI and stuff. The only kewl thing about my new laptop was the registry. It was built on a 64 bit architecture or whatever and i discovered i couldn't use the default registry setting that came with the cracked version of PES 09 i got cuz the game was meant for 32 bit OS's. After studying how legit 32 bit softwares installed themselves on it, I messed with bill's baby and she gave me what i wanted. Reminds me of when I had to find a way to install WMP 11 on my old lappy running XP and the software kept saying my OS wasn't legit ( WTF! ). I studied the software for a while and then removed just one file from the program folder and that was it!

What am I trying to say?

Windows still hasn't provided that great OS users really want. Casual users may be content with it but serious users who complain about any OS know what it really is. Microsoft keeps coming up with 'upgrades' whose capabilities they hype all over the world and this is frustrating cuz when REAL USERS begin to tinker with their boxes, it crumbles and not only fails itself but also the users. Imagine a programmer trying to come up with something thats totally science fiction and too good to be true and all he does is spend half his time solving problems which may include trying to get around the limits imposed by some stupidly programmed software he now feels he was tricked into buying. This may be one of the reasons so many programmers and hackers find linux satisfying. It's challenges seem to advance their knowledge instead of just frustrating them and making them wait for the next disappointing upgrade.

I'm not saying it's not good, I'm just saying iust not GOOD! get the difference?

Anyone who wants to tell me to go create my own OS should grow up and stop playing "follow the billionaire"
