Mbdovey:Those are your (and women's typical) worries. And it is also typical to see women' projecting these personal fears on men and asking this question. Most men don't worry about this, girl. These your worries are yours and well low in the priorities of worries for men. Men worry about getting sex soon, frequently and with high variety. I am sure you don't worry about this and it being a problem you foresee. It will be well low in your priorities of worries. |
robinso01:No. A foolish man repeatedly gives his money to con men in the hope of future prosperity (sowing seed), and despite no returns/proof it works, he defends the crooks who are living large. Reality is that, it is hard for fools to know they are fools. |
robinso01:You just want to continue defiantly being a mugu for your pastors? You will even find excuses for them why they should have riches beyond their means, so they can continue milking your dumbass. Kikero, you can't save this one. |
DrayZee:Na domdomatic expression I see o. |
DrayZee:I know the reasoning of someone who is under the spell of (and who worships) pure conmen, hence calling those enlightening him "pigs". |
DrayZee:But you believe and give your money to crooked conman pigs to fly private jets? |
BeLookingIDIOT:You don't have to agree they should be paid the same. Just explain why they should not be paid the same. If your foolish and unreasoned argument is that women footballers should be paid the same as men footballers because "It's a national football team, not a private business. ................Whatever differences in revenues generated ain't their fault, they put in their best efforts and are equally passionate about their craft", then explain what your argument is of why cricket players should not be paid the same. What is your basis based on your own foolish reasoning why they should not be paid the same. The cricket team is not a national team? They are wearing Nigerian sportswear but secretly representing Togo? Or cricket is "private business"? Or they are not putting in their best efforts? Or they are not equally passionate about their craft? You people make dumb arguments with so much self-confidence, you now start running when you are asked to defend them. |
BeLookingIDIOT:I like sense! Answer the bloody question and stop running from left to right. Explain why a national cricket player should be paid less than a national football player when they are both on national service. Oya. |
BeLookingIDIOT:You made an argument that people should be paid the same because they are doing a national service, so I gave you an example of others also doing a national service and asked if they should be paid the same too. So you are now saying that football is not comparable to cricket. Can out explain explain why you think it is not comparable? |
This is nonsense reporting without mentioning the names of these crooks that took bribes to destroy Nigeria's and Nigerians' future. The crooks are: Folakemi Adelore and Ikechukwu Oguine Here is a picture of Ikechukwu Oguine (On the Left) https://africaoilgasreport.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/So-much-under-one-roof-620x310.jpg If anybody knows their criminal children's names, please post it. Let there be a record for eternity for their lineage (Adelore and Oguine) to know they come from a family of heartless crooks. |
Other members of the board shall include the director-general, a representative of the Federal Ministry of Justice, a representative of the Central Bank of Nigeria, the Director of Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit, two other Nigerians with 15 years cognate experience in legal, finance, banking or forensic auditing and the Director of Administration who shall be the secretary of the board. This part is the part where the crooks can now control and have knowledge of what the EFCC is doing. They can stop its investigations or warn their friends on how investigations against them is going. The EFCC would be answerable to the crooks they are investigating, no more answerable to Nigerians through the President. It will just become like any other Nigerian institution with a Board: Inefficient and Crooked! NNPC, NTA, NMA, NCAA etc. |
BeLookingIDIOT:Answer the question. Abi they too are not playing for the national team? Or is that "private business"? Or they are not putting in their best efforts? Or are not equally passionate about their craft? Oya, answer. |
BeLookingIDIOT:So should those representing Nigeria in Cricket be paid the same amount as Super Eagles players? |
A Business F provides poorer quality products and services than Business M. Business F workers generate revenues that is about 1% of the revenues generated by Business M workers; and they both have the same number of workers responsible for the provision of the same kind of products and services. Now Business F workers are paid 30% of what Business M workers are paid but some fools are still arguing they should be paid the same amount. How foolish can a proposal get and how incredibly dumb can the argument supporting it get? |
robosky02:That is not a sensible answer to the question put forth to you. Give me a sensible and logical reason why we should do this. Everything you said so far has been senseless. Say something sensible. |
robosky02:This is a foolish post! Nowhere has anyone said: "At it was in the beginning so shall it be now and for ever". What I asked you is: "Now try again to give me a sensible and logical reason why we should do this, instead of this foolish logic." If you can bring a sensible and logical reason, then it would be accepted and it shall not be like that forever. A) "Our girls have been asking for this upgrade long before this change is becoming a global trend" is not a logical and sensible reason. Otherwise, our civil servants asking for decades to be paid American civil servant wages will be a logical and sensible reason to pay them such. Foolishness! B) "England Brazil Norway etc are even far better than our male team yet they pay both male and females equally" is not a logical and sensible reason. It is just a repeat of that logic of foolish followership! I will ask you to try again to give me a sensible and logical reason why we should do this, Oya! |
robosky02:It is always foolish to say "do something because A & B are/everybody is doing it". It is an extremely foolish way to live one's life. Foolish followership! You have to do something because you have evaluated it YOURSELF and assessed it makes sense (i.e. be it by improving your situation, advancing you towards a goal or fits your requirements) logically. Because many countries have 80,000 seater world-class stadium is not excuse for Nigeria to build one. How frequently will it be used to pay for the cost to be recovered? Because many leading regional powers have submarines is not an excuse for Nigeria to go out and by a submarine fleet. Who are we fighting that we need such? That is the kind of foolishness that leads Nigerian politicians to waste money on White Elephant projects instead of using it for what the country/region requires or what would benefit the people. Now try again to give me a sensible and logical reason why we should do this, instead of this foolish logic. |
StarFlux:As someone said earlier, Yoruba words are usually developed base on description. "Player" can have different forms based on description: Elere - Used for those playing/taking part in any physical entertainment activity Osere - Used for someone entertaining by intellectual/oral performance (e.g. acting, comedian, poet etc.) Agba - Used for those playing/taking part in an activity that involves hitting something (e.g. football, tennis etc.) So I think all works but Elere is the strongest. I have never heard the usage of "Alare" or "Adije" as others highlighted. |
robosky02:I am not here to impress you. Present your counter/stronger argument. |
robosky02:Nonsense! The glory they bring to Nigeria is in line with the popularity of their sport (aka low). The female Nigerian team winning African women's Nations Cup is nowhere near half the glory of Nigeria's male team just merely qualifying for the WC. Successful people who deserve high recognition don't need to ask or cry for it, it is just given. Messi, Bolt, Tiger Woods, Micheal Jordan etc. did not cry or beg for recognition, people showered them with it (even if they did not even want it) because their sports was popular. I don't owe them nothing. If they want to be successful and reap the rewards, they will just have to excel. Michael Jordan did not beg people to pay crazy money to buy his trainers, he just excelled. If they excel, make their sports popular and their fortunes will improve. Let them go out and thrash Brazil's or USA's women's national team by 3 goals to nil and you will see how money go hit them yafun-yafun. It is not by begging and appealing. It is by high quality performance. That said, women's sports will never match men's sports. That is just a fact of nature! |
Bahamas95:You don't get my point! My point is: Tell me why a male U-16 footballer should be paid less than a male Senior footballer? |
Bahamas95:The U16, U20 and U23 also run on the pitch for 90 minutes, should they be paid the same too? |
Chukkson:No! Part of the money comes from sponsorship. |
andyanders:Foolishness! Paid from your pocket? |
OPECINHO:Only if the funding is coming from government purses. I am sure, for Brazil, the government will not be funding football and this money will be coming from revenue generated by FA. Over 90% of this will be generated by the Male Senior team, so why should the women get paid same? I doubt the women are even generating as much as the U-20 team. |
Bahamas95:They should pay them from your money? |
paulolee:The women should play high quality football, market themselves well, increase their revenue generation, then this can be used to increase their pay. Period! |
robosky02:This is foolish nonsense. So if Nigeria's table tennis or squash players bring more laurels than the football players, then they should be paid more than the football players? |
robosky02:Nonsense! So what if they "only received US$3,000 as winning bonus and $1,500 for a draw at international outings, compared to the men's team getting $10,000 and $5,000 for the same achievements"? How much do Falcons generate annually? How much do Eagles generate annually? |
CodeTemplar:So, fool, you are still telling us "if Apena & Co upload a video on YouTube, dem don digitised"? ![]() @mayprince, come watch this fool's humiliation o. ![]() |
mayprince:Exactly. They provided quality irrespective of quality. |
