Their experience in the hands of the southerners tells them their northern brothers give them a better deal.
When the southerners, specifically Igbos, organised their coup in 1966 they target northerners irrespective of their religion and whenever their is a Crisis they kill all northerners irrespective of their religion.

The problem with you people is that you think everyone is a broke ass like you and it is the same mentality with Wike. He thought he has more money to buy delegates than the other candidates but when the time for the primary came he was out thought and outspent. Instead of him to be sober and think about how to pick his pieces and spoke himself into political no man's land, neither here nor there.

You're being naive. Do you thing the Chairman and Deputies should resign just to suit the whims and caprices of Wike? No it does not happen this way in politics. Wike has not shown any love to Atiku to warrant giving him the party structure control.

The only option feasible for now is Sen. Ayu's voluntary or forced resignation followed by the resignation of PDP Deputy national Chairman( North).so that HE Arapaja, Deputy National Chairman( South) can take over.
Anything else done between today and 29th September or February next year, like the dream of HE Atiku defeating APC's Asiwaju Tinubu, is very very very unlikely to succeed.

They did not refute the single most important point he made that the southern Christians do lump both the northern Muslims and Christians. Wike's insistence that Ayu most resign from his leadership of PDP because he is a northerner is a good example of how southerners view all northerners and that's they kill both the Muslim and Christian Northerners whenever there is a Crisis.

Atiku is going to win the election. Atiku is surely going to get majority of the northern votes and get significant votes in the south. His party the PDP is well entrenched in the south south and south east.
Tinubu has the advantage of being a candidate of the ruling party and the support of his South West base but the Muslim - Muslim ticket means that he forfeits the votes of the Christians
Peter Obi is making waves on the social media and will get significant votes from the south east and south - south but will hardly get votes from the North. His Labour Party does not have formidable candidates contesting for other posts whi0 would have have help him mobilise voters. He is going to significant votes but not enough to win the election. Obi is going to be a distant third.

Ayu has a good case. He was elected for a period of four years and he has not committed any offence that warrants his removal. If there is need for him to resign in order to bring balance to the party he should politely be asked to do do but not the way Wike is going about.
