It is very unfortunate that it got to this state but the truth is that the lady did not use her common sense.
Anyone with little common sense would know that what she said would automatically get her into trouble in Sokoto.
The translator has said he left out the offensive part of the voice because he can't repeat it, therefore the translation did not capture the offensive part of her comment.

I can bet my right arm that the person who wrote the script is not a Muslim because Muslims do not treat issues of religion in such a condensing way as Christians do with their religion.
Can just saw this as an opportunity to remove a Muslim from a sensitive position and went after the MD while other Christians on Nairaland saw it as another opportunity to bash Islam.

I don't know what those criticizing him want him to say at an event about building an Islamic center. May be they want him to say Muslims should not build mosques and other Islamic centres because there are many other serious problems to be solved first.
Pantami was there as an Islamic scholar not as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

As far as law is concerned Soyinka is a layman. All the books he studied, all his degrees and his professorship do not qualify him to be an an expert on law. He has right to comment in all issues but he is not an authority on all issues.

Whoever you are campaigning for should pay you not to campaign for him because you are weakening him and making Atiku stronger. Any stragegy that tries to villify Atiku just because he is of the Hausa/Fulani stock will backfire. Anybody candidate that goes into Nigeria's presidential election with the block Hausa/Fulani votes is likely to win the election.

Atiku is part of the Fulani mafia desperate to enslave Nigeria. The same Atiku that collaborated with Buhari to ruin PDPs chances during the last presidential elections. Dude will go behind to plot with Buhari and then come out to hijack PDPs presidential ticket for fun.. Atiku never participated in his own tribunal cases against Buhari that were instituted by the PDP... He ran away to Dubai and only came back after his laughable "petitions" have been thrown out. Next thing we saw is the same Atiku representing Buhari at buharis sons marriage! Atiku is fake!

I had a very embarrassing experience with a company called L-CREDIT with persistent calls warning to inform a certain individual to pay them their loan or else they will block all his bank transactions and that I too is likely to be affected. What I did is that I reported them to NCC who told me it is a privacy violation matter I should contact NITDA and I did so. I also reported the matter to consumer protection department of CBN who advised me to contact the company and if they did not stop I should get back to them. I wrote the company a mail telling them to stop the calls and that I have already reported the matter to NCC, CBN and NITDA. I got a response from them that they are sorry for what they did and from that time I have not received any call from them again.
It is really annoying that they should adopt this tactic of using threatening messages in a matter which I have no knowledge of.

For the past three weeks they have been bombarding me with messages telling me that a certain individual collected a loan from them and did not pay therefore I should inform him that they will block his accounts and that it may also affect me because I am his guarantor which I never was.
I know most of those calls are designed to make me put pressure on their debtor but why should they involve me in a transaction that I am not party to?

The closer of the junior boarding secondary schools has nothing to do with insecurity; it is about the inability of the state government to continue carrying the burden of feeding the students. If it is about insecurity why did the state government not close senior boarding secondary schools? It is just a cost cutting measure but the government has just found a convenient excuse in the insecurity situation in the country.
It is the same government that canceled a whole term after the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown.
As of now the government has failed to conduct the BECE exam for the JS 3 which means that there would be no students to admit into SS 1 for the incoming academic season.

I don't know why bring in Atiku's name into this. Atiku is from Jada LGA not Toungo.. His LG Jada together with Toungo LG though carved out out of Ganye LG do not share common boarder with Toungo.
