The law backs him.moreover he didnt know until the day of elections when his party was missing from the ballot.if his party was duly cleared for the election and inec omitted them from the ballot papers without any legal backing, then the polls is null and void
MRDD is not qualified to contest because it has no deputy governor.

Guy,stop talking nonsense.you dont even know the law.since the party logo wasn't included,it means a court can nullify the elections and order inec to conduct a new one
Who told you that the said party met the conditions necessary for its inclusion in the election. The party did not nominate a deputy hence its exclusion.

Xisnin:
You are an illiterate. PDP hs never gotten 20 million in any election since democracy began.
All the figures from the NE and NW were products of thumbprinting in absence of card readers.
INEC refuses to use a Card reader in the north but enforced the same in the south.
Instead of blaming PDP, why not face your god in Aso Rock?
If in this age of internet you cannot make simple seach to verify your claims before you go public you are one of those President buhari referred to as lazy youth.
The following are the results PDP got pre card reader : PDP votes
1999 - 18.7million
2003 - 24.4million
2007 - 24.6million
2011 - 22.5million
2015 - 12.8million * inec introduced Card Readers.
2019 - 11.2million * stricter adherence to use Card readers.
PoliticsRe: State Governors, Assembly Candidates Move To Dump Smart Card Reader by ganye1: 10:23am On Mar 04, 2019
They want to make the card reader the scapegoat for their failure in the elections. Despite its imperfections the card reader has sanitise our elections. Outrageous figures are giving way to reasonable figures. In pre card reade elections PDP was getting over 20 million votes in presidential elections but since its introduction figures for winner of presidential elections has dropped to 15 million votes.

Of course, they are. Why else would PMB replace most of the Police Commissioners just a few weeks before the election? He wants to put his cronies in charge so they can do the needful.

Both the INEC and the police are working for Buhari and APC. We, the people, just need to be extra vigilant to make sure that our votes are counted.

Changing States Police Commissioners and States Resident Electoral Commissioners just before elections is a standard procedure meant to check the influence of states governors on them.

Must PDP complain about everything? Yesterday they were complaining about redeploying states' commissioners of police and today it is Resident Electoral Commissioners. Redeployment of states' Resident Electoral Commissioners and Commissioners of Police is a standard procedure before major elections to prevent them from being influenced by the governors. This has been happening during the PDP era. I am beginning to believe el-Rufai that there is something sinister to this persistent complains.

PoliticsAtiku Supporter Who Climbed Billboard In Yola Makes U-turn, Backs Buhari by ganye1(op): 9:42am On Feb 05, 2019
A young man, Muhammad Lawal also known as Lawal Faro who climbed a 45-feet billboard hanger in Yola some months ago in apparent support of the presidential candidate of the major opposition party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has taken a detour saying that he is now a full convert of President Muhammadu Buhari’s presidential ambition.

Faro who made the position in Yola at a function organised by the blackcap revolution movement next level, an All Progressives Congress group loyal to the ex-anti-corruption czar, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, noted that he has become a full blooded member of the group.

Man on Billboard, Atiku
Lawan Faro on a 45ft tall billboard hanger

He added that, he took the decision to dump the PDP presidential candidate following the lackluster attitude of the former vice president towards him, despite the immense sacrifices he made in furtherance of his presidential ambition.

Faro noted that due to the concern and care extended to him following the travails he went through on account of his support for Atiku, by the leader of blackcap revolution in the state, Mustapha Atiku Ribadu, he felt that the only way he could pay back the gesture was to align with the philosophy of the blackcap movement.

He noted that Mustapha Ribadu has made tremendous sacrifices in cash and kind to ensure that he was not harmed as his travails for supporting Atiku lasted.

Faro, a resident of Gombi local government of the state who was in his 20s climbed the mast and threatened to kill himself if the former vice president did not personally come in person or proxy to pacify him.

But Atiku seemingly paid a deaf ear to the young man’s request who was later assisted by Ribadu following his arrest and detention by the Nigerian police an action that made him to change his political direction.

PoliticsKannywood Stars Fight Dirty Over Alleged Atiku Largesse by ganye1(op): 4:32pm On Jan 31, 2019
and Zaharadden
Two prominent Kannywood stars, Ummi ZeeZee and Zaharaddeen Sani, have threatened to drag themselves to the police over an alleged monetary gift from the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar.
Representatives of Mr Abubakar allegedly presented the gift after a meeting in Kaduna with Kannywood stars campaigning for him ahead of the February 16 presidential election.
Genesis of the altercation
The Hausa movie industry is divided between supporting President Muhammadu Buhari or his main challenger, Mr Abubakar.
Celebrities such as Sani Danja, Al’amin Buhari, Fati Mohammed, Zaharadden Sani, Imraanaa Mohammed, and Yakubu Mohammed have been mobilising support for the PDP candidate among their colleagues and fans.
On Saturday, January 26, the group held a meeting in Kaduna with top PDP members, including the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, who represented Mr Abubakar.
Okowa Campaign AD
Immediately after the event, controversial Kannywood actress, Ummi ZeeZee, accused the organisers of cheating her and threatened to have them jailed.
She said on her Instagram page that she was cheated out of her share of the largesse from Mr Abubakar.
She labelled Sani Danja, Zaharadden Sani, Fati Mohammed, Al’amin Buhari, and Imranaa Mohammed as thieves who took money from Mr Abubakar’s entourage and shared it among themselves.
“I understand Atiku sent plenty of money to share for us. But all of you thieves walked away with the money and shared it among yourselves. Let me tell you, if not for my mother who begged me not to jail you all, I would have done that because you all don’t have the connection I have in Nigeria.
“Zaharadden Sani called me after the event and send N25,000 to me as my share. Let me tell you Zaharaddeen, I am not a beggar and I am more than that amount you sent to me, you cheat. I want to warn you all that should anything like this happen again and you keep me off it, I will deal with you and I mean all of you,” she said.
What Really Happened
Zaharadden Sani, popularly called Sarkin Yakin Atiku Abubakar, meaning chief campaigner for Atiku Abubakar, told PREMIUM TIMES that Zeezee is only a “ noisemaker”

Sani said ZeeZee was making noise because she could not make an impact anymore in Kannywood and was never part of Atiku movement in the industry.
“I want you to know that I have reported her to the police in Kaduna and they have since issued an arrest warrant. I reported her for accusing me and my colleagues and labeling us as thieves. She went on her Instagram page and accused me and my colleagues of hijacking funds meant for the Atiku movement in Kannywood.
“The event was organised by five of us key in the Atiku movement and the PDP candidate sent in a representative in the person of Bukola Saraki. He attended the event and we told him what we had been doing for the success of the party and the presidential candidate in the ways we promote him and campaign for him among our fans and colleagues. It was a successful event.
“I met Ummi ZeeZee at the entrance of the venue and we greeted. I told her I was going back to my hotel room and I left.
“She later called me and said she heard that we were given money to share. I smiled and said ‘what do you want? You are not part of this event because you have never been part of it. We did our thing so what do you want?’ She said I should send her something. She sent her brother and I gave her N25,000. I told her it is not from any event. This is from me.
“She went straight to her Instagram page and wrote all those things.
“Let me tell you. ZeeZee has never come to us. She was not part of the organisers. She has never attended any of our meetings, and campaigns, which we have been doing spending our money because we believe in the candidature of Atiku Abubakar. She was not at the event and just like that she started speaking ill of us.
“I have reported the case to the police for false accusation and an arrest warrant has been issued. I am calling her to turn herself to any police station in Kaduna so we can all gather and she will prove when and where I was given millions of naira to share and I pocketed it. My colleagues will be present whenever she makes herself available. Meanwhile, if she does not, she will be arrested,” Mr Sani Said.

PoliticsRe: 10 Reasons Why Buhari Would Lose 2019 Presidential Election by ganye1:
[quote author=shachris02 post=74274635]1. Increasing Poverty and hardship in the country. Under Buhari's watch, Nigeria has grown to be the Poorest nation in the world. Whereas poverty is decreasing everywhere else in the world, it is growing in leaps and bounds in Nigeria. Many Nigerians can barely afford a decent 2 square meal a day.

It was tough at beginning and Nigerians know the reason why it was tough. Don't tell me that PDP's mismanagement and looting of our resources has no bearing on the economic situation at the beginning of his administration. We know the oil price before he took over and immediately after he took over. Nigerians clearly understood the reasons for the problems and they know it is Buhari’s prudent management of our resources that got us out of the economic problem PDP put us in.

2. Rising Unemployment. Nigeria's unemployment rate currently stands a whooping 37% ranking one of the highest in the world. Whereas our youthful population is growing, unemployment is building up gradually. What this means in essence is that in the coming years, we would have a huge number of youths doing nothing. This is dangerous for any economy. No wonder there's high rate of youths indulging in dastardly acts such as Yahoo Yahoo and money rituals including stealing of pants.

Those who want to work are getting work to do. Agriculture has absorbed many unemployed youths off the labour market and our industries are recruiting again. Government's palliative measures such as the Npower program have helped in reducing unemployment.

3. Rising Levels of Insecurity:
Every where you look in Nigeria there are stories of people getting killed unnecessarily almost on a daily basis. From the Fulani bandits in the middle belts to boko harm in the north east. States like zamfara, kaduna, benue, kogi, Plateau have been hot beds for indiscriminate killing most especially by fulani bandits and this is growing everyday with no hope in sight.
The fight against our major security issues have been dealt with. Boko Haram controlled territories have been libetated and life has generally returned to normal in the north east. The herdsmen farmers clashes have generally subsided.

4. Lack of Empathy for Middle Belt: It took Buhari months to speak about the benue killings. Buhari has done practically nothing to help the situation in those middle belts states. The only statement we got from him is for them to endure the killings till they are able to donate their lands for grazing reserves. What nerve!
There was never Buhari Said they should endure until they donate their lands for grazing reserves. He did whatever necessarily to solve the problem and now you can attest that the clashes have stopped.

5. Frolicking with Corruption. The story of how buhari is the chieftain of integrity international has been laced by the fact that's he's been frolicking with persons that are openly known to be corrupt. Persons like Ganduje that's been caught of tape collecting huge amounts of dollars as bribe, persons like Maina that stole billions in pension fund, persons like Babachir that's been implicated in collecting millions to cut grass, Tinubu a known drug lord, Amaechi that's never held any job in his life aside politics yet throws dollars around as if they are papers, Emani , Arthur eze to mention a few.
I don't want to comment on individual cases but I don't know what you want Buhari to do to Ganduje who enjoys constitutional immunity. Babachir's case is a minor one compared to Anyim awarding contracts worth billions of Naira to his companies without executing the contracts. At least Buhari dismissed Babachir for his misdemeanors.

6. Over Confidence: Buhari has many Yes men around him singing his praises that he's feeling quite so over confident and out of touch with reality. This is the same thing that happened to Ambode. Many Nigerians have silently decided to deal with Buhari at the pools. You would never find them discussing this as Buhari has many praise singers that are ready to retort if they do. Buhari is in for a shocker is 2019 and he would never know it till it's over.

Buhari is confident of winning not over confident.

7. Insensitivity to the plight of the Average Nigerians: Nigerians are going through one of the worst times in the nations history; and we've never heard from our president all through. When was the last time Buhari had a media chat with the people? When was the last time Buhari commiserated with anyone or any state in person? When was the last time Buhari actually visited the sight of any Boko haram/fulani bandit attack? We only get to hear from our president when he travels abroad.

So in your opinion not holding media chats is insensitivity to the plight of Nigerians? We have heard from our president several times on several national issues.

8. Nepotism and Empathy toward the cause of the Fulani herdsmen. It is no news that Buhari is openly sympathetic to the fulani herdsmen. He's the number one patron of Miyatti Allah. He has never openly condemned fulani herdsmen, being fulani himself.
This card won't work as Atiku his main challenger is Fulani too. The Fulanis has suffered as much as the other tribes they are fighting with and Buhari has never taken sides. He didn't send soldiers to kill the Mambilas in Taraba state for killing over eight hundred of his own Fulani kinsmen nor did he send them to teach the Bachamas lesson for killing over sixty Fulani women and children. In fact Buhari has shown considerable impartiality in tackling the issue.

Talking about Nepotism, its a well know fact that more than 80% of Buharis appointments has gone to the North.....more than 70% of those to Fulanis and muslims.
This is a big lie.

9. No sense of Direction. Up and until now, APC can not state exactly what their economic agenda is. is it Power? Deregulation? Diversification? Infrastructure? Nigerians feel lost and most of use feel they are governing by chance. No sense of direction whatsoever.

Without economic sense of direction Buhari wouldn't have taken us out of the the PDP induced recession.

10. Age. Buhari is an old man. Before this new buhari, the old buhari was looking so shriveled that many feared he might just drop one day and die. Nigeria needs a more vibrant leader and not someone that's been in power for over 4 decades.

Atiku his main challenger is within the same age bracket with him, so age factor wouldn't count much against him.
