I still don’t get how cautioning Wike will remedy the situation in Rivers state. This is a straight fight between the governor and members of the state house of assembly.

I’m still waiting for a senior lawyer to validate Tinubu’s actions as lawful so far, not even his Attorney General, Lateef, can justify the President’s decisions yesterday. This is just the beginning of the consequences of aligning with Wike.

They can do whatever they want, but it does not change the fact that SIM remains the governor. This illegality will undoubtedly be challenged in court. They may continue bribing judges to get their way, but there will come a point when the people can no longer tolerate it, and they will react. The President should have consulted widely before making such a pronouncement. This reflects poorly on the competence of the speechwriter. While the President has the authority to declare a State of Emergency (SOE), the legal criteria for such a declaration were not met. The situation in Rivers State does not warrant an SOE, and this action will likely face numerous legal challenges at the State and High Courts.

Elected officials who defect should be required to resign their positions and wait until the next election cycle to contest again. It’s unreasonable for politicians to keep switching from one party to another without consequences.

For other positions, if an individual decamps, there should be a mandatory waiting period of at least four years before they can contest for any elective office or be considered for an appointment. Implementing these measures would discourage political cross-carpeting and promote stability and accountability within the political system

I'm not God, but should the Rivers state House of Assembly decides to impeach His Excellency, Mr. FUBARA, we'll bring down Rivers state. We cannot sit down and fold our arms while Wike and his cohorts continue to torment the governor. Rivers is nobody's private estate. Wike is no God. If fubara is impeached, Wike will also proceed on self- exile because he won't dare step his foot in the state.
I wonder why TINUBU can't call wike to order. I also wonder why PDP governors are not throwing their weights around SIM FUBARA.
This is a clear affront to Democracy and we must all Rise against wike the megalomaniac.
