Romance / Re: Chai! Nigerian Girls In Canada Are So Lonely! by gargoylern: 11:46pm On Apr 08, 2020 |
lefulefu:A couple of reasons. They don't know how to approach, since they have never approached a man all their life. Na una Naija guys dey rush them na, lol. Two, the white guys don't really find them attractive. Some asian men do though. Some Nigerian men also do. But because most Nigerian guys are not stable (i..e they are still working survival jobs), they are not ready to marry. Trust me , these Nigerian girls are in serious dilemma. Again, if you are a Nigerian girl thinking of immigrating to Canada. Think twice about it. Be sure that's what you really want. 549 Likes 36 Shares |

BestAccessories:The positive thing is that they are able to earn well. I met one that was working in first bank back in Nigeria and earning about 120k a month. Now she earns a little over 3.5k canadian dollars on the average working customer service after a lot of overtime. She is always stressed out sha. 3.5k is about 980k. It looks like she is on course to save a lot of money before mid-year, and plans to visit Nigeria by July. She didn't tell me explicitly, but clearly she's going back to see how she can revive a few friendships back home that may lead to marriage. She is soooooo lonely. She cried sef. Eyah! 907 Likes 59 Shares |
Romance / Chai! Nigerian Girls In Canada Are So Lonely! by gargoylern: 11:20pm On Apr 08, 2020 |
I visit Canada and the US from time to time, but on this my last trip I could not but observe just how extremely lonely Nigerian girls are there. Why did they immigrate in the first place? What did they expect what waiting for them on the other side? A man gift wrapped in iced sugar? They all have Youtube channels now, or Instagram channels and release video or vlogs every other day. I guess it is the easiest way to stop themselves from going crazy over the dreary loneliness. But the problem doesn't even stop there. Normally, I would have been interested sef. But many of them are actually not so good-looking or resourceful. Too bad! If you are a Nigerian girl thinking of immigrating to Canada, make sure you consider it hard and deep. You could end up being just as lonely and dejected. Am not kidding when I say this. If you aren't there, you have no idea how tough it can get. 413 Likes 46 Shares

MamaOO:Of course, no variant of SQL will give you C++ or python functionalities. But PL/SQL or TSQL are some of those that go beyond the typical query features of standard SQL. Many of these you can employ in writing normal procedural programs. |

RealTrump:This is also what I was thinking. I think it's even more likely for people to get infected on a weekend, since that's when they go out. I think what the result is most likely showing is that test centers open on weekdays and so put out results then. |

Health / Why Does Nigeria Seem So Clueless Regarding Covid-19? by gargoylern: 4:41pm On Mar 31, 2020 |
How do these guys not see that these so-called efforts to stem the spread of the virus could actually worsen the situation? Banks not open, leaving people congregating outside their doors and reducing social distance Supermarkets and malls allowing only a few people in at a time, causing others to congregate outside sharing air and sweat No light at home to work, even though we stay at home. You spend more money working at home than going to work. No food, no water. This is not good. |

I created these with the corona dataset from Johns Hopkins. Showing just how behind Nigeria is with respect to Italy as at 24-Mar-2020. It's a time series analysis. It shows data from Italy delayed by one month and super-imposed on data from Nigeria. 8 Likes 1 Share

Politics / Truth And Justice Don't Thrive In Nigeria by gargoylern: 2:56pm On Mar 11, 2020 |
The dethronement of Sanusi brings me back to what I have always known about Nigeria, that truth and justice barely survive here. The country provides fertile ground for gossip, injustice and other incredible wrongs. Man, it's high time to start looking for alternatives. |

The Udacity certificate is good. But employers will be more curious about your portfolio. If you are able to use your Udacity capstone as a launch pad on which to begin creating other projects, you should be fine. Udacity is respected. Just make sure to put it on your LinkedIn profile. 3 Likes 1 Share |

HBB1:Oga, great boxers are to be found in every category. Don't limit your vision of boxing to heavyweight. For some people in Nigeria, boxing is only heavyweight. Looks like you are one of them. There is also something called flyweight and lightweight; dem plenty. Go and read about Lomachenko. Great boxers are everywhere. And you don't discriminate with categories when you mention great boxers. 2 Likes |

slam7000:There will be a third fight. It's part of the contract. Talking about AJ and Fury, you'd be surprised. AJ is a more complete fighter. He may have gotten a little sloppy in his first fight against Ruiz, but that doesn't mean he couldn't have beaten Ruiz in one shot. I wouldn't claim that Fury has that much self-discpline. The guy is always all over the place. Little wonder he took the exit route after his victory over Klitscho that time; it's in his character. You only need to watch the firsts AJ has executed brilliantly to know that he won't take a fight with Fury lightly. Watch AJ's fight with Parker. If he wants to be methodical, he can easily me. Wilder is too aggresive and isn't at all a rounded puncher. Fury's victory over him means nothing to those who know boxing. Fury should fight a more rounded boxer first and then we can start talking. 6 Likes |

seunmsg:True. Ortiz had Wilder squared. Could have easily beaten him on points if he hadnt been knocked out. Instead of Wilder working on his tactics after the fight, he kept getting proud of his right hand. I'm actually disappointed. |
