J12: Lagos state on the other hand is and has always been the most developed state in Nigeria. With a population of about 9-10 million people, the state government receives about 100 billion+ from the FG, coupled with its 250 billion+ IGR. The lagos state government does not provide free education or healthcare, it doesn't provide jobs and since the state is already developed infrastrurally, there is no pressing need to build any airport, build road, schools, sea ports, etc.

It is in delta state only the governor's relative collect contracts then sell to another person who sells to the final contractor that has no construction equipment. Life span of roads here is less than a year and the recent harmattan road rehabilitation was pouring of granite in pot holes. Even the really big pot holes that needed the most attention were left unattended.
