Ngwakwe: What makes it your concern. Nonsense!!! This is not a matter of politics, but of security of lives and properties. A building is demolished in his state capital and he maintains a "curious" silence.... Doesn't that show that either: 1. He's incompetent in the area of securing lives and properties of people in his state.... Or 2. He has a hand in the whole thing... Pls note that you have the right to remain silent as anything you say will be used against you in my next post.... 1 Like |

beemix: Your maturity and intelligent responses to negative ill comments is intriguing.. I only wish a lot of people on this page could learn to analyze and critize objectively thinking about the repull effect of any actions and not comment with beclouded sense of reasoning. Well, talk is cheap but wisdom is exquisite. I wish you a favorable result. Remember to share. Colour Fixed!! |

Seun: The monthly debate was started because the general forum was too rowdy to handle intellectual debates. Sadly your words above show your limited knowledge of the whole concept of the Monthly Debate.. Once more I'll urge you to go through past debate threads and tell us how you intend to achieve that level of discussion in every thread in the Politics section.. With all due respect sir, I think you're trying to KILL one of the most educative and enlightening activity on NL.. |

Politics / Re: Good Governance Tour Ill-conceived – Fashola by GARRIx7(m): 10:42pm On Feb 26, 2013 |
Fashola said: “we do not need a Good Governance tour in Lagos before citizens know that their lives are improving. Completed projects such as the Ibeshe road in Ikorodu, the Mother and Child Centres in Amuwo Odofin and Alimosho and the completed school of nursing are examples of good governance.” Spot on!! The PDP-led FG is very clueless. This silly Jamboree must stop!!! |

Nonsense thread from a flat-headed, akpu-chopping cry-baby.... Item 1. Those are suspected criminals moving about with fire-arms which might be used for robbery, murder and other criminal acts.. Item 2. It's actually unfortunate what happened, however I expect you to be able to prove that she was arrested and detained for being IGBO. That's the only way to justify ur claim that it's a tribal persecution. Item 3. Fashola closed a market that A. Pollutes and destroys the environment, posing grave dangers to the health and life of Lagosians(including IGBOs in Lagos) B. The market is a hideout for hoodlums and miscreants who have refused to pay tax or cooperate with the local govt. C. Warnings giving were disregarded by the traders thus the closure.. Note that the closure isn't permanent as it will be opened as soon as the traders are ready to obey. 2 Likes |

Great vision from Fashola and Tinubu!!! Urban engineers at DHI, the world-renowned Danish hydraulic research centre, carried out extensive scale model trials. Data analysis by computer models showed that the Great Wall would keep Lagos safe from the worst tidal surges that can be expected over 1000 years.” |

Excellent!! speaking with the journalists, Sulaiman said the state government had lots of issues with the market, ranging from hooliganism, lack of toilet facilities, degradation of the environment with diesel and fuel products. He added that the traders in the market formed another government. He explained that the taskforce officials came to the market two weeks ago, but the leaders of the market did not show up.“There are serious trading going on in the streets and there are lots of shanties here. We will make sure that this time around, proper sanitation is done by the traders before this market will be re-opened and they have to submit to the Chairman of Mushin Local Government Area,” |
