causewahala: Why the midnight communication, dem dey do free callSay what!!! Anything can happen sha.... ![]() |
Ngwakwe: What makes it your concern.Nonsense!!! This is not a matter of politics, but of security of lives and properties. A building is demolished in his state capital and he maintains a "curious" silence.... Doesn't that show that either: 1. He's incompetent in the area of securing lives and properties of people in his state.... Or 2. He has a hand in the whole thing... Pls note that you have the right to remain silent as anything you say will be used against you in my next post.... ![]() |
beemix: Your maturity and intelligent responses to negative ill comments is intriguing.. I only wish a lot of people on this page could learn to analyze and critize objectively thinking about the repull effect of any actions and not comment with beclouded sense of reasoning. Well, talk is cheap but wisdom is exquisite. I wish you a favorable result. Remember to share.Colour Fixed!! ![]() |
Ngwakwe: Did I forget something?Yes! You forgot to add that you typed the thrash above after smoking Indian Hemp mixed with ur Pubic hair.. ![]() |

I don't think it's a Good idea.... ![]() |
Seun: The monthly debate was started because the general forum was too rowdy to handle intellectual debates.Sadly your words above show your limited knowledge of the whole concept of the Monthly Debate.. Once more I'll urge you to go through past debate threads and tell us how you intend to achieve that level of discussion in every thread in the Politics section.. With all due respect sir, I think you're trying to KILL one of the most educative and enlightening activity on NL.. ![]() |
^^^Care to cite instances when 'the same people crying foul here' have jubilated over the same fate befalling Hausas'?- arresting people on spurious allegations and treating them like 'dirt'; closing down markets (for which tax/rates are paid) on claims of unsanitary conditions, even when it's the responsibility of the state and local authorities to clean these places on a daily basis and provide basic amenities like water and toilets; not providing an alternative site for the traders to go to while the gov't does what they're supposed to do by cleaning up the market. All these just point to a gov't that is brutal and uncaring, and by their actions they're making it very easy to paint them as very hateful; a gov't should have a 'human face' which isn't the case with Lagos.
Sensible IGBOs know that Fashola doesn't hate IGBOs. The question is: Aside being a proud IGBO, are you also a sensible IGBO?? ![]() |
i dont see why it cant be approved, unless there's something i dont know. wont other first ladies also use it? abi there wont be nigeria again after their tenure.
What will the current first lady use it for?? It's a senseless project and all well-meaning Nigerians must condemn this waste of our scarce resources.. |
Fashola said: “we do not need a Good Governance tour in Lagos before citizens know that their lives are improving. Completed projects such as the Ibeshe road in Ikorodu, the Mother and Child Centres in Amuwo Odofin and Alimosho and the completed school of nursing are examples of good governance.”Spot on!! The PDP-led FG is very clueless. This silly Jamboree must stop!!! |
If you're not happy, make sure Jonathan doesn't "Enter the Place" till you're pacified.. Oloshi!! ![]() |
Bliss4Lyfe: To do business is now a crime. shake my head for Nigeria.Doing business with GUNs, and dangerous weapons has always been a crime.. Shaking my head for the criminals.. ![]() |
Nonsense thread from a flat-headed, akpu-chopping cry-baby.... Item 1. Those are suspected criminals moving about with fire-arms which might be used for robbery, murder and other criminal acts.. Item 2. It's actually unfortunate what happened, however I expect you to be able to prove that she was arrested and detained for being IGBO. That's the only way to justify ur claim that it's a tribal persecution. Item 3. Fashola closed a market that A. Pollutes and destroys the environment, posing grave dangers to the health and life of Lagosians(including IGBOs in Lagos) B. The market is a hideout for hoodlums and miscreants who have refused to pay tax or cooperate with the local govt. C. Warnings giving were disregarded by the traders thus the closure.. Note that the closure isn't permanent as it will be opened as soon as the traders are ready to obey. |
Where is my CUTLASS?? Uduaghan needs to be beheaded!!! Does Fash have 2 heads?? ...and his Head is FAR BIGGER than Fashola's Head!!!! Why Always Fashola?? ![]() |
Great vision from Fashola and Tinubu!!! Urban engineers at DHI, the world-renowned Danish hydraulic research centre, carried out extensive scale model trials. Data analysis by computer models showed that the Great Wall would keep Lagos safe from the worst tidal surges that can be expected over 1000 years.” |
To answer your question straight. Those men are security men who's duty is to guard the market. Now tell us is it a crime that they were employed to guard the market?
... And do you know what atrocities these innocent folks could commit with these fire arms at their disposal?? Who monitors their activities and calls them to order should they abuse their authority?? Are they trained law-enforcers?? While I don't support any form of barbaric treatment melted out on alleged or convicted criminals, I think these guys have a case to answer.. |
babapupa: While this was going on yesterday at Ladipo market, ibo leaders were hanging out with the Governor of Lagos State....Nice one!! I guess our recalcitrant cry-babies have a clearer picture of the whole situation... |
The Presidency yesterday defended the proposed N4 billion African First Ladies’ Peace Mission building project, saying that to abandon the project would not augur well for the image of the country.Nonsense!!! If Nigerians say no, then it's NO!! Who cares what foreigners think?? Is it their money?? ![]() |
Afam4eva: 10 people banned. More to go...Mr. Man, why not do ur job quietly?? Can't you do ur job without exhibiting "notice-me" attitude?? ![]() |
Seun: What party does Afam4eva support? I think he is Pro-GEJ.He's anti-GEJ |
Excellent!! speaking with the journalists, Sulaiman said the state government had lots of issues with the market, ranging from hooliganism, lack of toilet facilities, degradation of the environment with diesel and fuel products. He added that the traders in the market formed another government. He explained that the taskforce officials came to the market two weeks ago, but the leaders of the market did not show up.“There are serious trading going on in the streets and there are lots of shanties here. We will make sure that this time around, proper sanitation is done by the traders before this market will be re-opened and they have to submit to the Chairman of Mushin Local Government Area,” |
Could there be some midnight behind the scene on-goings we don't know about
