Our sacred Gov.A.A. Sule has gone mad/bad again


Noticeably, since the verdict of the competent and incorruptible Nasarawa State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal(GEPT) that sacked A.A Sule and rightfully declared Rt. Hon. David Emmanuel Ombugadu Ph.D as the validly and lawfully elected Governor of Nasarawa State on the 2th day of October, 2023, Gov. A.A Sule has gone mad again by moving from one place to another looking for what is not lost by desperately seeking all kinds of sympathy despite his outright defeat at the polls on the 18th March, 2023 gubernatorial election in the State.

For close observers of proceedings in Nasarawa State, recall that sometimes in April 2023, Rt. Hon. David Emmanuel Ombugadu Ph.D and the great People's Democratic Party(PDP) had approached the GEPT and challenged the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) for accepting fabricated results and wrongful declaration of Gov. A.A Sule and the All progressive Congress (APC) as the winners of the election on the 20th of March, 2023 in the State.

The main thrusts of the petition is the fact that scores earned by each political parties at the polling units results in Chiroma and Gayam wards were wrongly entered into form EC8Bs results sheets and total exclusion of Alwaza Mada polling unit results in Doma LGA and Ashigie ward in Lafia LGA respectively. Other issues were erroneous arithmetic addition and deductions of political parties votes earned in few polling units and case of over voting in some polling units comparing with the actual votes in forms EC8As, BVAS screenshot accreditations EC8Bs, and IREV portal results. The tribunal were asked to verify, re-collate the areas mentioned and declared the person with majority lawful votes earned as the duly and rightfully elected winner. As simple as that.

The Nasarawa State GEPT in her wisdom admitted all evidences brought to her, witnesses tendered and brought by both the petitioners and respondents in order to deliver justice at the end and justice was served without fear or favour.
Right from the very day that the Incorruptible Tribunal delivered her verdict which is the justice sought for, the now sacked Gov. A.A Sule has lost sleep completely. Sule even said the Dr. Ombugadu, Governor-elect has woken him up from sleep—even with the stolen mandate. Sule has embarked on an endless journey of blame games, name callings, character assassination, making inflammatory statements, quoting people he once canvassed for their votes and more recently even inciting the citizens on religion divisiveness just to woo undue sympathy.

Indeed, our sacked Gov. A.A. Sule has gone mad/bad again as this is not the first time he, his goons and cohorts would be seen engaging in such desperation to divide the citizenry on grounds of religion and ethnicity.

With the overwhelming requirement fulfilled evidences and deposed, witness statements at the tribunal court and as long as God lives; the people's votes remained the ultimate of the election of 18th March, 2023 as it is contained in the IREV portal, BVAS screenshot and form EC8As results and beyond as presented at the governorship election petition tribunal court and her verdict, we we are not losing sleep at Sule approaching the appellate courts since they are retrial courts for justice. We are highly optimistic that justice served will be sustained by God's grace.

His Excellency, Rt. Hon. David Emmanuel Ombugadu Ph.D, the lawful elected Governor of Nasarawa State has come to stay by God's grace and will provide an all inclusive government to the state devoid of Religious sentiment, ethnic settlement or regional settlement.

The sacked Gov. A.A Sule is not a man of integrity and he has gone mad/bad again.

Sentimental sympathy will not change the justice served by God's grace.

Everywhere the Governor and his team went the reception was cold and scanty which was a very clear signal that Governor Sule was out of touch with the needs and aspirations of the people of Nasarawa State.

“I'm aware that after two years in office the Governor dismissed the advice from leaders and members of his party to fulfill his campaign promises. Instead of listening to his party’s in-house advice to roll up his sleeves and work for the people, he flared up at them and publicly swore that he would do only one term and relocate abroad to live his life in peace! GOV ABDULLAHI SULE OF NASARAWA STATE IS A RELIGIOUS BIGOT AND 'A GREEN SNAKE IN A GREEN GRASS'

Why is the governor whipping an unnecessary religious sentiment at the 11th hour?

Why should the drowning governor suddenly forget that:

1. He is married to an Ibo woman who is a Christian, based in America! They wedded in the Church, and their union is blessed with children; one of them is a pastor in America.

2. How on earth will an ingrate like Gov Sule forget that a Church in America gave him accommodation and scholarship to complete his education up to MSC.

3. How on earth did he also suddenly forget that Prof Ishaya, the VC of UniJos, who was the governorship election Returning Officer, rigged the March 18th, 2023 election for him is a Christian ?

4. Did the governor also forget that Christian judges favoured him against the same David Ombugadu, from the Tribunal to Court of Appeal and Supreme Court, during 2019 elections?

5. His first DG in 2019 was Senator John Danboyi, a Christian Mada man from Akwanga LG, and 2023 is also a Christian by name Barrister Tanimu Adabson from Karu LG.

6. Did Christians detest him as a Kanuri from Yobe State, whose father came for railway work in Gudi? Rather, they embraced him because he was born and brought up here and was allowed to be a governor based on the provisions of the constitution.

7. Did Christians in Nasarawa State send him to steal our state money to build a university in Yobe, his state of origin?

8. Or are Christians behind his building of a world class Industry in America?

9. Did Christians send him to fight his predecessors like former governors Abdullahi Adamu and Umaru Tanko Al-Makura?

10. When the governor ochestrated his plans to remove Adamu & Al-Makura's legacies from the state and frustrate them from national politics, were Christians involved in it?

11. Did Christians commit a crime by voting for him in 2019 and 2023? Why is he demonising them?

12. Did Christians advise him to sponsor a political thug like Adongari and some Mallams to make provocative religious statements shortly before the 2023 general elections?

13. Are Christians behind yet another provocative utterance of Adongari and a Mallam from Sokoto after the tribunal judgement in Lafia?

14. Is the governor trying to show his true colour of an intolerant religious bigot by whipping religious sentiment on live televised program Abuja?

15. Did he meet Nasarawa a divided state along religion that he wants to tear it apart before his impending exit?

These and many questions are begging for answers from the drowning and outgoing governor, A.A Sule.

A.A. Sule is a total disappointment to his family and the state for him to have come out and made such a polarising and unguarded utterances in the public function in Abuja.

There is no true and bonafide indigenous family in Nasarawa State that doesn't have Christian, Muslim, and Idol worshipers, but we are cohabitating without any differences. Why should a governor who claims to love the state divide his people along the religious line?

Say no the governor's religious sentiment and antics. God has exposed him.

Can we allow our associating with one another possess adaptability and flexibility as a major factor in our coexisting space?

We are at a cross road between humanity and believes. A careful comparison of both would help in dividing my thoughts on National issues. Humanity as the quality of being humane while religion is, in fact, a piece of thinking, a notion or belief system of a group of people who worships their Gods. There are many versions of religion, but despite this, in the whole world, the common aspect that unites all the religions is “humanity".

The existence of humanity is a necessary (but not sufficient) prerequisite for the existence of religion. It is therefore prior to, and is therefore more important than, religion. Humanity without humanity, you won’t understand religion.

We are all human and we belong to different religions or none. We may not share religious beliefs but we are all human. We have humanity in common which means, logically, that we are united by more than what divides us. We should treasure that which unites us and guard against that which might, if permitted, divide us.

Let me borrow the words of Mahatma Gandhi and I qoute:

"You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.”

We must not lose faith in humanity. We must reeducate ourselves to save our coexistence.

A missed target By Kabiru Salisu from Dutse Jigawa State.

I watch with amusement how a young man was paid to speak ill about AbdulLahi Adamu and to even go to the extent of saying that Adamu denied President Buhari entrance to Nasarawa State or better still denied traditional rulers the permission to see the President.

Well if that is true, it means AbdulLahi Adamu is a trustworthy leader and a voice to reckon with and to be listened to, it means he is a party man to the core, a man who can give his all to the party not a man who will be here at dawn and be there at sunset.

It means that AbdulLahi Adamu is a one faced person and blunt upright man, he is the kind of material needed by APC at the present time, someone who will stick to the party come rain come shine. Just like he remained completely PDP when he was a PDP governor until his defection.

Unlike Al-makura who defected to CPC because he couldn’t wrestle the ticket with Aliyu Akwai Doma of blessed memory, Adamu on his terms moved to APC and remained a true member. In life it is not always how fast but how well and how true, Abdullahi Adamu had showed over and over again that he is a man to trust and the campaign of calumny against him is nothing but a missed target.

No wonder virtually all his aids and employees from 1999 to date had stocked themselves around him, they have always thrown there support behind him and they truly believed in him.

With recent revelations I am more than ever convinced that Abdullahi Adamu is the man for the job.

Activista a global youth network hosted by ActionAid her Nasarawa State arm commends Nasarawa State House of Assembly for allowing the Nasarawa Youth Development Commission Bill to scale through second reading.

The State Coordinator Activista Shekwoyemi Ibrahim Kure shortly after the plenary described the section as one of it kind, an abettor for youth o'clock within the state as the Law makers had showed full support for the bill.

The bill which was sponsored by the Deputy Speaker Rt. Hon Nehemiah Tsentse had more than 2/3rd Majority or even all the law makers in support of bills. These singular act of ardent aficionado by the state house for the bill has restored the confidence of the youths in Nasarawa State that the State House is fully ready to develop the gains of Nasarawa State youths.

We believe that youth development will pave way for more socio-economy gains and will also reduce all forms of youth restiveness within the state.

Nasarawa Dancers Association held her 1st meeting at around 4pm at Destiny Guess in Lafia, Nasarawa State.

The President Shekwogaza Ibrahim Kure has directed henceforth an upward review of the associations dues to #2000 and a registration fee of #1000 as ratified by 2/3rd majority of congress men present.

The association remains committed to her members and won't stop until we get a stable feet within the State.

Why Abdullahi Adamu and not Al-Makura

As the race for the national chairmanship of the APC draws near, it seems two of the former Nasarawa state governors Abdullahi Adamu and Umaru Tanko Al-Makura are the top contenders, interestingly, both of them had history of never losing personal elections.

Now the Buhari case of what goes around comes around.

Whoever grew up in Nigeria whether or not interested in politics is aware of the Hausa phrase “Mai Gaskiya” literarily translated as the truthful one. Which has for over two decades remained both the passport as well as the flight ticket of President Buhari’s journey to the Aso Vila. So I was never surprised when I heard of the purported endorsement of AbdulLahi Adamu against the dribbler Tanko Al-makura.

First as a man of integrity, one will always expect Mr. President to align himself with someone whose philosophy matches or is at least closer to his own, which to all practicing politicians or even student of politics who had devoted their time to study or learn the game may describe as the Buhari’s way, will acknowledge the similarities in words and deeds of AbdulLahi Adamu to that of Buhari, the man is dogged, straightforward and he only say what he meant. Abdullahi Adamu apart from been more experienced in terms of party governance than Al-Makura has proven over and over again to be trustworthy and truthful. Al-Makura on the other hand had been widely acknowledged to be a betrayal who’s interest superseded every other interest, he is a man that can easily sale out the APC if that will satisfy his pay masters and his own greed to cling on to power.

It is important to recall that the president had lost elections on two occasions when Al-makura was contesting on the platform of the CPC and as the only CPC state governor, analysts said it was not unconnected to his romance with the PDP and his loyalty because he never believed in the aspirations of Buhari but rather took it as an avenue to win his election considering the large followership of the President across northern states.

It is even safe to say that President Buhari was declared winner of the 2019 election in Nasarawa State for the fear that if the PDP presidential candidate’s results was added along side that of the senate, Al-makura was likely to lose his own senate seat which my search revealed that he never won. This is another reason why people close to the Presidency will never allow the president to endorse a cheap candidate that will definitely see to the failure of the party in the 2023 general election, as he just facilitated it at the recently conducted area council elections of the the FCT.

Whether we accept it or not AbdulLahi Adamu had remained more of a nationalist than Al-Makura, he has maintained a cordial relationship with all and sundry and most importantly he is not a local champion, Adamu is a believer in the Nigeria project, a true believe in it unity as well as it diversity.

Also with AbdulLahi Adamu as a National Chairman of the APC, Gov. Abdullahi A Sule of Nasarawa state will have more freedom to lead from the front rather than remain the puppet of Al-makura constant interest and interference, as we saw last week on broadcast media and subsequently the fear he exhibited during the One-on-One with Seun on Sunday Politcs, and also as it was with Obeseki before his crises with Oshiomole lead to our party's lost of Edo, in the last governorship elections.

Finally as a person and going by the need of our great party the APC, I think Abdullahi Adamu is the man for the job and I believe wholeheartedly that Mr. President made a great choice looking into Adamu’s experience, exposure, character and loyalty to the party and the county.

Stress tremendously influences our lives and has much effects on our mental and physical health that we are often not informed about. Of course, we all feel stressed at one time or another. It is a normal and healthy response to change or challenge. however, stress that lasts long can affect our health and happiness and for students, it may take a significant toll on grades. In this write up, I shall explore some factors that tailor stress, and how to mitigate them.
The causes of stress may vary among individuals. However, some of the general potential origins of stress especially among students are ;
I. Over feeding.
II. Smoking cigarettes
III. Drinking alcohol and use of drugs,
IV. Sleeping too much or not sleeping enough, homework, extracurricular activities, and social challenges.
V. Romantic relationships can also add an extra layer of potential stress.
Having established the likely causes of stress, the next question is how then can we control or manage stress?


The first step in dealing with stress is to recognize the presence of stress in your life. Everyone feels stress differently. You may be angry or irritable, unable to sleep, or suffer from headache or stomach upset.

In addition, identify situations that can cause stress. These situations are known as stressors. Your stressors can be family, school, work, relationships, money or health problems. Once you understand where your stress comes from, you can think of ways to manage your stressors better.


Secondly, One of the healthiest ways to blow off the steam is to get regular exercise. Physical activity every day is the easiest way to manage stress. When you exercise, your brain releases chemicals that make you feel good. Further more, when your body is experiencing a stress response, you’re often not thinking as clearly as you could be, thus, a quick way to calm down is to practice breathing exercises. These can be done virtually anywhere to relieve stress in minutes, and are especially effective for reducing anxiety before or even during tests, as well as during other times when stress feels overwhelming. 


Thirdly, yu may not realize it, but your diet can either boost your brainpower or sap you of mental energy. A healthy diet can function as both a stress management technique and a study aid. Improving your diet can keep you from experiencing diet-related mood swings. Avoid high-sugar snacks and consume plenty of vegetables, fruits, whole grains, lean and dairy-free proteins.
Another convenient stress reliever that has also shown many cognitive benefits is listening to music. Music can help you to relieve stress and either calm yourself down or stimulate your mind as your situation warrants. Students can harness the benefits of music by playing classical music while studying, playing upbeat music to "wake up" mentally, or relaxing with the help of their favorite slow melodies.


Conclusively, always have enough sleep. Individuals, with their packed schedules, are notorious for missing sleep. Unfortunately, operating in a sleep-deprived state puts you at a distinct disadvantage. You’re less productive, you may find it more difficult to learn, and you may even be a hazard behind the wheel.

Don't neglect your sleep schedule.

As we commemorate this years World Veterinary Day tagged with the theme " Environmental protection for improving animal and human health."

We will love to educate the general public that our environment , human and animal health are intrinsically linked. Our responsibility as advocates is to safeguard our environment for the future generation. In doing so, in an attempt to mitigate the effects of climate change , ensure proper disposal of medicines and support responsible use of natural resources necessary in raising livestock.

My beloved veterinary medical students , I wish that we all come out in our mass to support this course but also keeping in mind as members of a noble profession to obey all directives of NCDC most suitably social distancing as we carry out our obligations and for those in Nasarawa state Nigeria. We can join the Nasarawa State sanitation task force to ensure that all drainages and the environment in its entirety is cleaned .

I wish also to make a mandatory declaration to pet owners to disinfect pet houses and bath their pets on this day as we encourage proper animal hygiene.

Proclamation No.4, 2020

ON TEMPORARY BAN OF COMMERCIAL MOTORCYCLES AND TRICYCLES MADE PURSUANT TO PARAGRAPH 7 OF THE NASARAWA STATE DANGEROUS INFECTIOUS DISEASES (EMERGENCY PREVENTION) REGULATIONS 2020 ON THE ENFORCEMENT OF RESTRICTION OF MOVEMENT AND RELATED ISSUES THERETO TO CHECK THE SPREAD OF THE CORONA VIRUS (COVID-19) IN NASARAWA STATE

In an effort to stem the tide of the spread of COVID-19, save lives, reduce ill health and ensure that the fragile economy in which the people of Nasarawa State operate does not become weakened and stretched, the State Government had taken the following steps;

i. Restriction on human and vehicular movement and total lockdown of Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

ii. Curfew imposed in all Urban Areas of the State between the hours of 8:00pm and 6:00am daily shall continue.

Despite such steps taken to restrict movement into and within the State in an effort to prevent the entry or spread of COVID 19 into the State, it has come to the notice of the Government that Commercial Motorcycle Operators have continued to thwart the efforts of the Government to restrict movement of persons, especially persons entering the State from other States which have recorded cases of persons infected with the Corona Virus.

Hence, in line with powers conferred pursuant to Paragraph 7 of the Nasarawa State Dangerous Infectious Diseases (Emergency Prevention) Regulations 2020, it has become imperative to make the following further directives with effect from 8:00 pm on the 23rd of April 2020 till further notice, in order to protect the citizens of Nasarawa State;

1. There is hereby imposed a ban on all commercial motorcycles and tricycles (keke) in Nasarawa State.

2. The use of Private motorcycles is limited to one passenger only per motorcycle in other parts of the State not placed on total lockdown.

3. To that effect, all Security Personnel, Government functionaries and Traditional Rulers are to ensure full compliance with this further Proclamation.

4. Security patrols will remain intensified to ensure full compliance to this Proclamation, and all defaulters will be prosecuted in accordance with the law.

5. The issuance of this restriction remains necessary to protect the Citizens of the State from the possibility of contracting the disease from infiltrators and to minimize the potential for spread.
