I drive a 2007 Lexus ES350. I was on my way from Ilorin on Friday and noticed that the vehicle seems to rev louder when it wants to change to gear 2 and it'll balance itself. I immediately informed my mechanic, who asked that I manage it to Ibadan and that I shouldn't start it the following day, till he come around to check the gear oil.
The gear was gauged and was short, so he decided to drain the oil and it was noticed it is so black. He decided to loose the bottom of the gear where the filter is, so as to clean it with petrol.
After all was done, vehicle was tested and it actually picked very well compare to when I was coming from Ilorin, but still revs at shifting to gear 2.
Pls what do you advise as he said theirs a valve that a rewire needs to work on further?
fotadmowmend: Thanks bro .... I visited Kazeem . Rat don chop the indomie, termostat gone ! Infact all your suggests are right . But please is it advisable to get a universal catalytic converter ? As I was told it is effective and relatively not expensive ....
No rat will eat catalyst, either degrading or partly stolen.
Those Chinese things are what they are, honey combs. They will only reduce noise .
pocohantas: All the states in the SS except Bayelsa. All the states in the SW except Ondo. All SE states except Ebonyi. No Northern state. No middle belt.
I have been to the FCT. How many is that? I am too lazy to count mehn.
I drove to all the SS states. I was young and adventurous then. Mention road trip and I am out. As long as I see where to put tyre of the car, we move.
I am impressed at the bolded . This one you wrote I was young? You don old?
uncleck: Good evening comrades. Please are there light weight AC Compressors that use less engine power?
My AC takes too much of engine power. While idling, the steering vibrates. On low speed especially on bad roads, the engine can go off. Sometimes it will cause overheating. It has one time damaged my alternator.
Although it chills quite well, the trouble is much. It's a manual 2005 Honda Civic
Most Honda vehicles till date, use manual compressors. I doubt there is anything wrong with yours. The ability of your AC electronics to communicate with the engine ECU so that the idle air control valve receives an instruction to compensate for new load when compressor is engaged is what I think is missing .
Summary, check IACV and AC communication controllers.
Deigofortune: Pls am still suffering on this here is they code I’m, I have went as far as changing both my coil, plug and nuzzle

Pls your help and knowledge is highly needed …
Disconnect the faulty O2 sensor on the exhaust bank1 sensor 1 . It might be causing the system to misfire .
If it solves the problem replace it. If it does not drive a longer distance before scanning
We have found that when the cylinder runs out if you turn it on its side it gives like 30 minutes more. Or should we just weld a stand that inverts the cylinder to 45 degrees?
It also seems the gen burns oil faster but I'm not sure if this is not because of the gens age.
You should not smell gas. If you do, you have a leak or its is running rich. Turning it sideways is fine you cannot finish up all the gas in a 12.5kg cylinder
GAZZUZZ: Petrol Subsidy is gone, and you want to ensure your engine runs as efficiently as possible .
When a vehicle throws a DTC or error code, most times a lot of electronic and mechanical functions become restricted by the engine computer , thereby making the vehicle run inefficiently.
This device focuses on the P0420 and P0430 DTC only . With these codes gone, restrictions and limitations on the engine computer would no longer occur and engine will run more efficiently, giving you great savings.
Stolen catalytic converter? Burnt out catalyst?
No issues.
This device will clear your pending P0420 or P0430 codes on your vehicle.
It is a specially designed O2 sensor spacer with catalytic converter inside.
No need buying catalytic converters any more, just install this device and code will not come back.
As usual our products come with money back guarantees (beat that)
