One of the things that pisses me off on this job has started this 2019.
Got a request at Ebute Meta, called the rider to confirm her location, fortunately the pickup location was wrong, buh was able to get to her pickup location, got there called this babe that am here, she said okay am coming, 15min later still called again she said she's on her way down, it took her another 10min to get to me, okay I started trip, was on my way she started grumbling that I should drive faster that shes late, I was angered by that but I kept quiet and increased my speed a little from steady 80 to 90-100km. We finally got to her destination only for her to call the man that she came to see that she's here, the man told her to give him 10min his coming, we were inside the car for 30min waiting, this young lady could not even say sorry for the wait/delay

It's high time I start telling this people my mind.

Thanks for your kind response. The Hyundai was given to some Government workers who paid from their allowance. They weren't given Custom papers but a receipt from Hyundai. The person wants to sell the Car to me more reason my enquiry.

I know of 3 drivers that bought a car in 2018. 2 bought toks. one bought Registered. As we speak, it's only the one that bought Registered matrix that visit workshop less.

I do tell people that rental is sweet than owning a car on the platform. But it always sound fooling.

On rental, if there is a major break down. You take the car to Lugard or his mechanic then you go home to take a rest whIle the Lugard and the mechanic go through the headache of fixing that car then they will car you to come pick the car.

As a driver partner driving your car on the platform. once you hear or notice anything about you car. You start having headache. Infact headache and fear. Headache of how to get to a safe location. When you get to safe location. How to get a mechanic to rescue you. When you get the mechanic. Headache of cost of repair and paying for Labour.

Unlike when you are on rental. All you need to do is call Lugard and his mechanic will come and get the car and you go home to rest.

If you are driving your car on the platform. You will go through headache of fund and stay under the sun with the mechanic to ensure he is doing the normal thing.

I was once on a high speed ‘one way’ road going at 120kmph, ascended a hill, on the crest spotted the pothole in my lane, looked ahead and no oncoming traffic from the other lane, tried to dodge pothole by tilting steering just a tiny fraction and . . . BOOM! Car spun out 3 times flew into the bush.

Toyota sold by Toyota Nigeria Ltd (Elizade, Briscoe, Globe etc) compared to the same version produced abroad have VERY noticeable difference.

Functionality wise and Safety wise.

However, I don't do "Fast n Furious" on unfamiliar territories. If I am driving on unfamiliar territory, my speed limit is 80kmh no matter how smooth the road is, even familiar territory, I don't exceed 120kmh.

No matter the speed, I always maintained a certain degree of safety (safe distance) depending on the vehicle ahead of me.

It better to arrive late than be LATE.

No be small tin. Now I drive without gear 5 (I’ve even forgotten what speed that final gear is supposed to kick in). Gazzuzz has said I should come and take big switch, I’m far away now so I don’t know what to do.

Please sir I’m having a problem with a Nissan Sentra 2013 model... the car jerks... have tested the injectors and the spray pattern all nozzles are good, I discovered some bad plugs and coils which leaks currects and got them preplaced... fuel pump it’s still okay cox fuel rushes rapid when I pull out the hose from the pump assey while the ignition is on though didn’t check with a fuel pressure gauge... scaned the car got p0118(etc sensor) and p0340 ( Cmp sensor /circ b1).. please guru in the house help me on these...
