I HAD AN ENGINE KNOCK ON MY CAMRY, WEN I CHECKED, DER WAS OIL INSIDE, D RADIATOR FAN WAS WORKING N WATER WAS STILL INSIDE THE RADIATOR. SO I DON'T UNDERSTAND Y D ENGINE STILL KNOCKED. D MECHANIC I CALLED SAID DAT D OIL WAS NOT ENTERING D LOWER PART OF THE ENGINE N DAT LEAD TO KNOCK. DOES SUCH THINGS HAPPEN IN A CAR. N IF SO HOW DOES ONE AVOID IT IN D FUTURE. THANKS

Trust you had an origin filled weekend boss. i recently noticed a noise coming from my baby boy v6 engine, sounds like a knocking noise .... ... . . .like the fan is brushing against something kinda noise. its definitely not the fan thou. it seems to be coming from inside the engine, if you can recall i complained about blue smoke from the exhaust some days ago of which you adviced rings or valve seal change, i dont drive it for long distances anymore since then(i practically dont drive it atall) until a complete service but now this. my kazeem is already singing a new engine song. engine still runs smooth thou except for the noise. the engine has 208k miles on it.

Engine is relatively inexpensive 50-60k

So I met an Uber/Taxify driver in my estate today. I had just finished from Church, I was dressed down and going to a CyberCafe nearby; when this person beckoned on me from a 2000 Toyota Corolla. "Excuse me sir, please I'm going to Gowon Estate" ... "This is Gowon Estate", I replied. "Where exactly are you going to? What Road? What Close?" That was when he took up his phone and showed me the screen ... The Uber driver app was on, the pickup address was C Close, 31 Road.

"Oh, he is an Uber driver", I told myself. Suddenly, I felt ashamed on his behalf. He was looking nothing close to neat, he looked unkempt ... like he didn't sleep at home last night. The car was just there ... interior/exterior was just manageable. His windows were wound down, the AC was not running ... on a hot (102°F) Sunday afternoon. I told myself he doesn't even know how to use his Google maps ... I gave him directions to where he was going; and wished him luck. I couldn't even introduce myself as a fellow Uber/Taxify driver ... shame catch me ...

I know the feeling, I always give them 1 star

Since the gist on sludge is trending, I decided to check the engine cap of one of my cars and mehn it looks really bad. The sludge no be small.
Please what is the remedy for this? I use the normal Mobil mineral oil and I change oil every month.
