DAVE5: Pls my Lexus is250 is giving me an issue, my radio works fine, but anytime I accelerate or brake the volume of the car reduces by itself, once the car is in one place the volume doesn’t reduce at all, I don’t know if it’s the acceleration or braking that causes the volume to reduce but once I’m in motion wahala, it was working perfect until yesterday, I gave a mechanic to service and since yesterday it’s been this way

look for the ASL (automatic sound levelizer) button, adjust to settings that suite you.

mayor2013: An electrical problem would never cause a transmission to slip out . Never seen any. Most likely cause is mechanical as a result of using wrong trans fluid. What type of fluid have you been using. Palm oil?

banky3w: Hahahaha..... No oh. I've not switched yet. Just so you know, you're a bloody demeanour . On the gear levels, I think the oil level is really disturbing the car, experience was scary. When accelerating to around 4000rpm on rough or uneven roads or hill or slope, the D(drive) light/indicator on the dash goes out for like 2-3 secs and the car revs up a little as if the gear was not engaged while it propels with half the expected power/movement of the gear (please pardon my English). If by this time, you still keep your foot on the gas pedal, the D light comes back (after the 2-3 secs) with either the battery light or parking brake light illuminating briefly before everything normalises., but if you keep off the gas pedal during the time the light goes off, it comes back without no hassle. Then on two instances, the car shuts off while the D light is off and I'll have to shift to neutral then restart the car and the 'check engine' light comes on. The check engine light disappears if I start up the car after the engine is off maybe after refuelling or whatever. Note, engine oil is over gauged and so is the gear oil. This is what I faced on my journey from ibadan to Kaduna. I'm thinking of reducing the gearbox oil or changing it. What do you think please? Cc Gazzu.zz, kingreign.

My kazeem said the car is "jeyin" and he suspects my last top off fuel is the cause. DaSugarBoi: I noticed oil and dirt around the compressor of my honda accord 2000 model V6. Took it to an A. C technician to check but without running any major check aside from seeing the oil and dirt on it he concluded I av to change the compressor and drier den refill the refrigerant. Before this, A. SerPounce: Thanks Gazzuzz. When I start the car for the first time and drive at low speeds, the ABS does not come on. But when I pick up speed, say, when driving on the highway it comes up and remains until I turn off the ignition. Start up again, no abs light, pick up speed, ABS comes on and remains till ignition is turned off.
