you are using a wrong tool for diagnosing that vehicle. (pp2000 should be used)
From a lot of cases, a misfire will throw a catalyst code on a peugeot 307. You should explain the problems you are having with the car. |

Gazzuz the prophet. As you correctly envisaged, the problem did not go away after the change of transmission oil and the filter. Now the next step according to the guy is to replace the entire valvebody with a new one ( the good thing is that i will not pay for the replacement unless it works)
The guy said if it doesnt work then the problem is most definitely from the mechanical part which is the gear box itself and the only solution to that is to get a new gear box (hmmm i dont even want to think about that)
I have also taken the matter spiritual and have been praying and prophecying to the car and i am certain everything will be alright. He is on the change of the valvebody process, i will know the outcome before the end of the day how did it go? |

Dear Nairalanders I need expert advice on what to do. I just recently bought a Camry 2009 v6 XLE thumb start but any time I drive it out and I Park, the car always refuses to start again, until I wait for about one hour before it starts. I have taken it to several mechanics and changed spark plugs, kick starters and even recently, somebody suggests it could be the fuel pump. This morning, another mechanic advice that I change the Crank shaft position sensor. Am confused.
Has anyone experienced this before and how do I go about having a permanent solution to this problem. Even in very thick hold-up on the road, I dare not switch off ignition. does it crank? Drop the vin so somone can run a report, this case seems like a flooded case.

I was riding on 3mb with my chinko 200cc sinoki bull motorcycle, and I felt my phone ring, from the island going to ojota, theres a bridge that takes you to yaba, so I parked on the right where the police and lastma tow trucks usually park to call the person back, after the call I was about to leave, and I saw these 2 number plates attached to the concrete divider. the current rate of compression can be checked via a pressure gauge to rule out the compressor.
OP replace the condenser(brand new), filter(comes in condenser), and expansion valve. If the compressor is bad have it replaced again. |

Yes, I am not doubting your knowledge or prowess but I believe in testing before replacing, so we don't end up being mere parts changer. OP called to thank me, he said replacing the coolant switch worked. Not everything is rocket science. |

Bold 1. Did you discover it was burnt before or after purchase.
Bold 2. No one keeps a working "13pin gearbox on the ground waiting for a. Buyer, it is hot cake. Please do not pay for the gear until tested for a reasonable amount of time. (2weeks - 1 month) now you are running in circles, paying for oils and other things without any result. The gear installed is faulty, if you cannot afford the original gear box,(over 250k) convert to the 10pin (about 100k). |

Go for a 5W20 grade pouring 5w20 in a worn engine is a death sentence to the engine. |

Heads up....i took the car for scan but didnt meet the guy incharge of the scan, after i explained the issue to some other guys i met there, they refered me to another guy in the vicinity who they described as an expert in gear repairs. On checking the gear the self-acclaimed expert told me that my transmission oil is extremely bad and the gear oil filter is broken. He poured out the oil and brought out the filter, lo and behold the oil is very thick, black and smelly and also the filter is torn. He has gone to get fresh oil and a new filter. Will keep this space updated with the outcome. hope it works, dirt in valvebody is very hard to fix, hope you don't run around in circles.
P.s your gear box is about 70k, you will spend a minimum of 30k now. |

It reduces as the speed comes down and also increases as the speed increases and it becomes very noisy between 80-100kph. What could be the cause of this noise as I have change the hub. It is a 1999 Toyota Avalon. Someone suggested that i empty the transmission oil and put fresh transmission oil. Do you think this will work? I believe if the oil is old and dark and smelling burnt it should be replaced, I doubt it will be of any help now. |

Because i am investing in transportation business, I have been requested to purchase the same type of vehicle for my inlaw to do taxi business in abuja.
Which vehicles used for taxi come with factory security aka anti-theft deterrents like immobilizer and programmed keys.
I know that pedal lock, fuel cut timer, tracker are installed by buyers not the factory.
I just hope that this vehicle also has steering lock or they didn't include those in the cars until recently?
cc GAZZUZZ every car I own has a tracking device. Just install a tracker. No one will ever believe a cheap taxi had one installed. |

please it is advisable for someone to drive an auto transmission for a Journey of 6-7 hrs (When the gear doesn't select). Please whats the effect is theres any..  not a good idea. You could engine could burn out. Of friction plates could ware out or both. |
