1) I was thinking Its only after you have gotten admission that you apply for enrolement.
2)Also the application was too straight forward that they didnt even ask for my documents and uptil now, I havent even see where to upload my documents. Where did you upload yours ??

For someone starting the process and wants to upload documents on uniassist, are the documents supposed to be scans of the original :WAEC, University transcript, university certificate, and IELTS. Or should it be the notified copies that are scanned?

You dont upload essential documents on uni assist, you send them by post and you'll have to certify them either in high court or at the embassy before you send them to germany....
It's only the non essential documents that you can upload

I'm making the enquiry for my brother.

My brother booked an appointment for category B, since last year and he got a mail for the appointment date on Monday.

But when I read the mail, I noticed he used his old international passport no to book instead of the new international passport no as he has a renewed passport already.

Has anyone here made such mistake and what's your experience at the German embassy?
Will this error affect his visa application or will he be turned back from the embassy gate to get another date?

Your advice is needed as appointment date has turned to Gold.

only 2.1 does not qualify you for category A, u must have graduated not later than 2018, hold a testas score of 100-130, A scholarship from German funds, a very good B2 German proficiency certificate. We keep repeating this, still this question is still asked.

U graduated 2016, u don't qualify for cat A. Even if you get a date they won't interview you.

Lol bros most schools if you graduate in 2016 your Certificate usually carry the year when the Senate certifies the result....and Majorly it isn't usually the year you graduate...
So if he graduated in 2016 his cert should most definitely carry 2017 so as at last year he qualified for cat A

Guys, the major question we have not asked here is,

Because the way am seeing this thing, it seems Germany have finally shut there door on legitimate Nigerian students especially those in category B. It just as if we are outcasts now.

Take for instance, last year I applied for a Visa interview date in February. I didn't get appointment date at all. By July, no interview date yet. I actually went through a very hopeless guy in Germany who was forming guru in embassy issues.

It was not until August that I decided to visit the embassy website by myself. Lo and Behold, I was meant to be in Category A. Because I have a first class! I quickly cancelled the previous application and applied under category A. In one week, I got an interview date for october!

But based on the changes implemented last year, I can't apply again because I graduated before 2017. From my experiences, I was able to deduce that the embassy does not really care about category B applicants. I may be wrong though. So I ask again,

IS THERE ANYBODY VIEWING THIS THREAD THAT GOT INTERVIEW DATE FROM CATEGORY B? At least from August last year? Or do you know somebody that did? Please answer as this will help dispel a lot of worries and concerns.

So guys I have a new theory, I feel like the Germans really wanted to reduce the number of people from Nigeria coming into their country this year. And they also want to take in the best so they Will most likely start giving out AD to the next set of people that qualify for cat A starting their school by September...
And they purposely not in a haste to write TestAs so more people won't qualify for cat A...
So I feel like the real lucky set of people will be those who qualify for cat A like this like this with this their new policy....
Cat B is really going to be hard to get and e fit even become raffle draw sef cos I read somewhere that most Nigerian students end up not attending school (and I feel like the embassy feels it's the cat B set of students)
What do you guys think cos surely I know they'll be AD for September/October students and are more likely to be cat A

They have changed the condition for Category A from 01/01/2017 to 01/01/2018

I think from these one now we can categorically see they dont want us again... cos thats why they took away testAs option for Nigerians so people dont go running to write them and qualify, now they don put 01/01/2018, how many people go get that result now?? Omo only God can safe us
