Idowuogbo: You make me feel much better. My dad is a pastor but i wouldnt relate that to this. You would do well as a Guidance and Counselor. You really understand the probable effects of this singular action of hers. She had to confess to me that she wouldnt want to patronise me much longer. I think it was unruly, yet timely - going by your understanding of the whole picture. But i no con get BB oooo for pings. lol All things being equal, Thanks. |

freecocoa: Some women don't have 2nd thoughts but hey don't sweat it,its her loss anyways but you for try collect some of the things back,if you no fit do am yourself arrange some area boys to run show on your behalf. Thanks. We dont find it apt and 'manly' to collect our gifts to females. And that is why when girls think they've cheated a guy, a guy thinks its just normal. It's bygone. We give (or even lend) what we can afford to lose. |

Interesting reads, I would admit. 'I am not afraid of commitment, i am only afraid of commiting to the wrong person' is one of my fav cliche. however, i decided to test the waters. It was no happy ending at all... Sometimes this year, precisely Jan.29th was when I had my first 'mature' heartbreak. I and this particular heart breaker of mine met towards the last quarter of last year. I trusted her with almost anything. I was there for her when i thought she needed me most. On her last visit to me in Lagos, prior to the eventual withdrawal, i made sure i still try and satisfy her yearnings, but not all. She had liked my ipod4g, liked my bible, liked this liked that. I even bought those I couldnt have had, like her shoes and ish before leaving for Benin, besides sending her money every month. Just a month after her visit, i heard the unexpected BS, imma gonna be returning to my Ex and ish. And i asked myself, If i had done much more than that, that is how she would still have gone just like that. Women dont have second thought, i would assume. |
Car Talk / Re: Frsc Impounded My Car, gave a ticket of 52k as Fine by gbenga007(m): 4:55pm On Feb 29, 2012 |
I read your post and I dare say it's very unfortunate - and indeed. The number of RHD vehicles have increased geometrically over the years, with people even thinking it's fashionable to drive "rightee". I'd tried to insert some pertinent and aforementioned posts herein but I just couldnt. However, I'd advice you wait for response since you have officially lodged your complaints. Besides, it's an organisational policy. However, i would say, albeit anonymously, sequel to some nairalanders urging you to demand for the details of the offence. The offence is called DGD (50k) and OVO (2k) for Dangerous driving and Other Violation Offences, respectively. Dangerous driving in the sense that it violates normal and generally permitted driving. NOTE that driving includes the driver and the drived, human and vehicular, among other things. Feel free to outpour your anger here. @Femi, Thanks. I perceive he's a clearing agent and understands the situation better Disclaimer: I'm NO FRSC and please dont take your emotional display here too personal. |

nex: I would honestly have said the above quoted IF i aint an insider. For the purpose of knowledge, there is an organ called JTB, joint tax board. This board fixes the price for both NDL and the Plate No. Frsc only produces, and give at the cost price to the other parties involved in the issuance, that is BIR and VIO. All these would then sit down and fix 'appropriate' price in a bid to benefit the STATE govt. Remember, both aforementioned bodies work for states and not FG. The state govts wudnt have accepted init if it wudnt favour them. Even in the face of suspension, lagos and the other states are carrying on. I share this not because i am in any position greater than an ordinary employee but because nairaland has always given me answers to some probbing questions too. We can only hope the primary purpose intended for this new development is actualized. We'll get there ONE day! |
