You want to invest borrowed money into light? Electricity? Who would pay for the light

Say we charge 150per kwh... And let's assume an average house hold use an average of 5kw per our... That's 750 per hour . .. The bills comes out to 560k monthly... Say a house uses 2.5kw per hour that's 280k per month

That's about $200 which is not that bad

But the issue is Nigerians are too poor to pay $200 fo light

So focus should not be power, or rail or second Niger bridge or the likes

Should be 80% provision of credit facilities 20% maintainance of already existing critical infrastructures

When we can get GDP per capita to $10k to $15k naturally constant electricity would follow

1. Production production production. You gat to produce for home and export. So Bulabu needs to mobilise the country to production be it farming, be it industries (manufacturing), be it human labour (capital). The above will reduce imports and therefore fx demands. 2. Improve exports - be it out solid minerals, oil and gas, agro and allied products, electricity, human capital (manpower, skills etc)

3. Prosecute the past and current thieves, recover funds stashed abroad and home, make them face jail term.

4. Continue to deal with speculators, bank chiefs that aid the politicians to launder funds, the BDCs that move money around for terrorism and other vices

These are arranged in order of impacts and priority. Buy Bulabu is only tackling number 4 and you all are clapping for him. Now that the effect if 4 has worn out, naira is slumping again

You must understand that they want the SS to remain underdeveloped primarily because of their hatred for the SS.

They are against this project because it will serve to begin the transformation of SS states from just oil to a highly diversified economic region that will open up maritime and tourism activities.
