Business › Re: Naira Drops Slightly To ₦763.17/$ On Investors & Exporters' FX Window by Gbogbowa: 7:12pm On Jun 21, 2023 |
franciskaine: the lesser the demand for dollar by Nigerias in our fx market the higher the value of naira and vice versa.
Just like the price of garri in an open market. If no one comes to buy garri and the sellers are much, sellers would naturally reduce the price of the garri to any potential buyer. But this is not always the rule all the time. the naira will continue to fall as long as we are import dependent most of our building materials, supermarket items ,tools and machine including fuel are imported so no relief for the naira |
Business › Re: Naira Drops Slightly To ₦763.17/$ On Investors & Exporters' FX Window by Gbogbowa: 7:07pm On Jun 21, 2023 |
datola: It's not really how much Naira exchanges for Dollar that matters. What's important is everybody getting it at the same rate.
Strong Naira is not desirable for an economy that does not export much things.
Most ignorant Nigerians want to consume only imported goods and yet want strong Naira. Ko le work! dollar to naira is going to be stable between 800 and 850 and nothing will change until fuel importation stop even Dangote has lost his position as Richest man in Africa |

Politics › Re: Court Admits Evidence Showing INEC Server Had No Glitches On Election Day by Gbogbowa: 11:33pm On Jun 19, 2023 |
9jatriot: Perhaps someone could provide an explanation regarding this matter. How do any of these factors prove that Obi won the election?
His argument seems to suggest that if the results were not uploaded to iREV, the entire election should be canceled in order for his line of reasoning to make sense. However, I am trying to understand the basis of his argument, which implies that everything went well until the uploading process, without any indication of altered results in those units. He is solely relying on the fact that the results did not upload to claim victory.
I have mentioned before that Obi, along with his lawyers and associates, is aware that he did not win, which is why he is not even attempting to demonstrate his victory and is solely focusing on the issue of iREV not functioning properly.
Nonetheless, INEC should provide a proper explanation as to why that aspect did not work. if Inec allowed the transmission to IREV at real time everybody will view and know the winner by 26th of march which will make it difficult for Inec to announce Tinubu so they have to block the Presidential election results from been transmitted to the IREV so that they can doctor the results from state level |

MrBrownJay1: the problem here is not the US (who obviously only thought about themselves when placing bases all over Europe), its the countries right at the doorsteps of Russia/Belarus (Like Germany/France etc) that could be hit with nuclear weapon even before anyone reacts. remember, Russia has 50 submarines all over the world carrying nuclear weapon.
do you think they were joking when they said they could wipe the whole UK from the face of the earth?! Russia is controlling the situation. If Russia wipes the whole UK will Russia still exist No they will wipe Russia also |

Loan to student the worst things done by Tinubu, after you collect the loan you must continue to support them to get another loan and when you can pay back because you can't pay back you become a slave to the government, you don't have voice again ,you must not speak against the government.this loan is just to capture the youth and cage them. The right thing to do is to create job ,when their is job people we not find it difficult to pay school fee but that is not their interest because they just want to silence the youth |
Politics › Re: NNPC Grants Dangote License To Import Fuel by Gbogbowa: 11:52pm On Jun 13, 2023 |
Tochi3: Which means a report that the Dangote Refinery needs more billions of Dollars of loans to be completed is true not propaganda..
If dangote can be given a license to import fuel, why build the refinery with borrowed loans. Why claim subsidy has been removed. What is this so called Subsidy then...
Everything is falling in place. That means Dangote has monopolized subsidy payment. The fraud Subsidy still exist only that Nigerians will pay Dangote the subsidy for the importation of fuel . The increment of the fuel price in order to recklessly maximize profits only goes to Dangote, allies & the government of emilokan per bullion vans.
There is nothing Tivnubu emilokans support that works. Poo' hari's maladministration comes to mind.. the masses will pay the subsidy for Dangote to survive, that is why Obj did not attend the opening ceremony despite the fact that Obj gave Dangote the license to build refinary .Obj knows they want scam Nigeria.Tinubu is a BAT |
