Family › Re: Should A Wife Wash Her Husband’s Clothes In This Present Age? by GboyegaD(m): 12:25am On Jan 14 |
This question seems ridiculous to me. Why would an adult compel another to do his laundry? In this case, what was discussed while they were dating? Did she agree to do his laundry etc? To the present, can they afford a washing machine? If yes, they should buy and that would resolve the challenge.
When I read topics like this, I am amused. I still don't understand why a man expects his wife to do his laundry and why a wife agrees to such. |
Family › Re: Can This Marriage Work? by GboyegaD(m): 12:16am On Jan 14 |
Could she be she's confused and not ready for marriage? A friend once dated a lady who when he asked where she see them in a couple of years told him she sees them being separated and the children in her custody. With that, my friend silently withdrew, and she kept saying he broke the relationship without any good reason. I brought this up because from the way she is acting, she might be one of those who feel the husband is only useful for childbearing. If that is the case, it will be challenging for her to change.
You mentioned she was earning better than you at first. What is she using her salary for now? Why do you have to take on so much more responsibilities? |

nairalanda1: 1.What do you mean by 'polices to foster better research". I doubt you know what that means.
The reason why we don't have good enough research here is because we don't have a good enough industrial complex...so there is no call for scientists to do the type of research that would help the industrial complex grow. Also, in saner climes industries fund universities, which is how they can afford research. Yes, and they fund the universiites over there that still charge high fees.
2.Dress code is to prepare you for the world tomorrow. Most of you will work for someone else on graduating, and there is a dress code in most organisations. And in some instances, like the armed forces, industries, and even other uniformed services..there is uniform, which goes way beyond what Babcock is doing. If school cannot prepare you for that kind of discipline...and maturity, then the school has failed.
Plus who told you that as an undergraduate, you are mature? LOL..even me that left university years ago, I still see myself as maturing. Never ever think you have made it, because when you do, problem go start.
And anyway, if you are not at babcock, rules don't apply to you...so chill. All this grammar to support a failed system? I don't have to be affected to call out a bad policy. For the bolded, research needs fund however, there are many ways to access reasonable funds to do research and some research particularly, in the social sciences do not need complex labs to run. They should focus on that than what people choose to wear. |

When will they create policies to foster better research from members of faculty and students? I don't know when people's personal lives became the concerns of our institutions. If you don't trust an undergraduate student to be matured, then why blame the society for not giving the youths a shot at leadership? Failed system, failed institution. |

The senile drug dealer will suffer for this Unfortunately, this has been for a long while. I was once harassed way back in 2013. My camo was a grey one and was surprised anyone should have issues with it. I have learned not to wear one in Nigeria to avoid stories that touch. |

eagleonearth: You lied. Hitting your uncle or an elder has grim consequences whether they crossed a boundary or not provided it is not self defence. You guys have lost it oo. Chai, where are the values our ancestors upheld? Which guys lost what and what did they lose? If the culture was as great as you all presume, our country would have been better. I do not subscribe to violence nonetheless; you do not tell people how to react to your actions towards them. |

SpencerForbes: Some things are just hard to explain. Where I’m from, I’ve seen how diabolical people can get. They’re just waiting for you to step out of line so they can start plotting something. Whether that stuff actually works is a mystery, but I’m definitely not interested in being the guinea pig.
I used to be just like the original poster. When I was 15, I’d talk back and banter with my uncle, but as I grew up, I realized it was a mistake. He still holds a grudge, and looking back, I wouldn't do it again. I know that if anything ever happened to my dad, I'd probably need my uncle's help. The poster should just apologize; it’s not going to kill him. I wonder how he’d feel if his own nephew did the same thing over some misunderstanding. How much development has the diabolical and wicked acts brought to your community? This is 2026,there's no pride in what you wrote about your community. |

harjay1986: if the percentage says other wise you people will still talk... Common drop from CBN is what you people are calling false.. The same way petrol price jump from 200 to 1000 plus... Now they say this one drop una they find evidence... I just mention one for you now and another is that many people capitalize on Round tripping on Forex supply from CBN but all those are not more now Bank sell 1 usd for 1450 while black market sell for 1453 the margin is not that much but before... Many people will conive with hospital and submit form for Usd for treatment because CBN subsidise it to 380 per 1 usd but come back with the same money and sell it at 1500.... Let appreciate once we hear good news no be every time we go dey do like person wey get running stomach You don't have to start creating scenarios that may not be true. That said, no one will doubt a reasonable statistic. As someone who works with and make decisions based on statistics, you do not expect me not to call out such outrageous claims particularly, if there is no evidenced logic to back it up. |

Babcock teaching hospital, have been doing heart surgery, kidney replacement which are among some of what gulp the money for medical tourism, there is a Big Hospital in Lekki also that is top What do you mean some don't like good things? You can't conclude medical tourism dropped by over 90% in a year without either a drastic investment in Healthcare or a policy restricting people from traveling abroad for treatment. |
