Glad the nurse was very vigilant. Some wouldn't have bothered despite the red flag. |
I sometimes have concerns about how we do things in Nigeria in spite of our religious inclinations. |
This is some good news. Our top exports are close to our imports, and our balance of trade and balance of payment should be in a relatively good spot. Does the statistics report the top items imported and exported? |
I would have thought the United States have more than 5000 universities. This would include colleges. |
Does she need to prove anything to us? I hope now that she has provenher status to us, she will sue the blogger. |
seunmsg:Too much motion without movement. Una just like unnecessary noise. |
77star:Unfortunately, I did not. The test was held at a branch while I was posted to Head Office. I visited the branch once and no one even knew the old man because they are contracted, and the firm is the one who assigns them to branches. |
Lied I was shortlisted for an aptitude test for graduate training while I was not. The younger security guy almost bounced me but great thanks to the older man who told me to go inside. I took the test, passed, and the rest is history. This is how I got my first job two months after graduation. |
The picture depicts the danger of a one side story. |
You are dating yourself. Forget the time you have been together, this should be a red flag you should not ignore. |
My suggestion will be do a lottery to select the needed candidates from the shortlisted candidate. |
frank417:I understand it is tech nonetheless, there are many expectations to meet that role and his experience doesn't match it. |
casdoruche:Your comment made me go listen to a part of the story. The first trigger is I am not lying or exaggerating, that for me tells me don't believe what I am saying. When she said she finished school 2020 and had to wonder for a while her course of study, it was another indication. She got a GLC, that's the final straw for me. |
Deepspirituals:It is very questionable for the role he said he got except you don't know who a CTO is. He doesnt have the experience for the position. I do not agree that our image is terrible in the corporate world as you find us everywhere and the major discrimination we face in the US for example is the same everyone faces which is visa sponsorship. |
givedemwotowoto:Most likely he overstayed his time out of the US while on green card. |
I have gone to read through his original post and look into his LinkedIn profile. One thing stands out to me and it is his years of experience both as an individual contributor and people management. I feel there are other reasons for rescinding his offer but I don't think they did solely because he is Nigerian. A CTO role for a company that pays that much will come with some great wealth of experience and makes the story questionable. |
Sonnobax15:Why should the government subsidize DNA test? Anyone desiring to be a parent who wants to run a DNA test on his children should do the calculation before impregnating the wife. |
mastermaestro:Same way a none owner wouldn't go inside the car. Who drove the car there? |
The part that I can't get out of my head is the one from Kaduna that is asking for quorum for private schools to raise school fees. Are the schools owned by the PTA? Why are parents acting as victims? Are their wards forced to attend these private schools? Yoruba will say "wo fun, lo ja" which means trade is done with negotiations and if it is okay by you, you buy. You are never forced to transact. That said, over the years, we have been electing heads who do not place value on education and the reason the deterioration continues. If we vote presidents with shady educational backgrounds, nothing will improve and even private school qualities will deteriorate. |
Following the footsteps of other senior officials. Wouldn't be surprised if his special advisers also appoint advisers. |
If the body is decomposing, it's been there for days. How come it wasn't noticed early enough? |
May her soul rest in perfect peace. A few of her ex students I know are doing well, highly disciplined with great manners. |
kingthreat:Except for calling the president a criminal, every other thing he said is true. How can the president say there is no more corruption in Nigeria? That was a big lie and indeed the president is shameless. |
zedman1:There's a Twitter link in the post that I think should direct you to the video. |
Both of them go dey alright. Never knew some grown men can be desperate. I didn't watch the video, just commented based on the story. |
