We're in a capitalist world where women have equal opportunities as men. Nigeria is too poor as a country for ladies to expect certain benevolent offers without offering something in return. The economy doesn't support such agape gifts.
I do not agree with your position nonetheless, it is respected.

The responses I am reading are scary. Does this mean there can't be platonic friendship between a male and a female?

The light out will be the toughest for me in recent times. I remember a section of the city having light out for almost 3 hours last week. It was serious news with the city assuring us they were doing everything to restore it.

I want to ask, do you eat east asian food eg Japanese, Korean or Chinese kind of food?

I saw your response to papa... and I was thinking that what you put in your mouth is the problem else the plateau.

Your diet is majorly high carb( from the food section pictures). I understand as Nigerians, its very hard psychologically to feel full without lots of carbohydrates in our diet because that was how we were modelled generations after generations.
In my case, I knew what to put in my mouth but the craving for carb was like an addiction.

Also, carb is sugar. Sugar addiction is worst than crack addiction.
I got so addicted to sugar I had to place myself on m..... so as to reset my brain and diet completely. Gave myself target of 4 months and I am like 5% there under 3 months while overhauling my food and taste bud completely. Do I still eat naija food?
Yes but in smaller quantities eg, I may look rice with barley and quinoa together instead of only white rice. Steel cut oat instead of the common one. I eat water yam, purple & orange colour potatoes instead of white and all in minimal quantities. Of course, anything soyabeans is a must I cannot do without. My snack is edamame. You can chose another option.
My drink is pure coconut water etc. These are examples of life changes you can make and the pounds will come of with or without drug

I have loads of energy i don't know what to do with it. My alertness is top notch and oh, I drink loads of diff types of tea without milk. I have like 6 types plus pur lipton. Wanted to start matcha but still afraid. Matcha has taken over from coffee in the US. Everybody is trying Japanese diet.
You do not have to visit the gym. Walking or riding bicycle ( any exercise you can still do at old age is the way to go).
Also, as we age, animal proteins are hard to digest.
More sea protein like our dearest mackerel.
Go to youtube and all the info and help you need is there.

We look at crack, alcohol etc as poisonous while the poison living with us everyday is sugar.
Its worst than alcohol and crack combined.

Love it when Nigerian men try to prioritise their health.

I do intermittent fasting everyday without actually trying to eg, I love eating twice. My breakfast is usually from 11 to 12. I eat dinner as early as 5 or 6. That's 16hrs of intermittent fasting or more. Sometimes I end up not eating to trigger autophagy. Has happened when i did up to 30hours. My swallow is half milk cup of oat. I still eat ramen and co but modified and less. More veggies. Less fruit except the non sugary ones.
I think pay off my challenge is my sugar addiction. I find it hard to drink water as such I take water with apple juice or sometimes with coke. Will keep working on myself.

Jagaban ... Jagaban

We told them there is a difference between lamba and substance

A leader is supposed to brag with his achievements not by bragging with the number of plates he is able to serve at a party, when there more efficient caterers who can do that.

When you hit your revenue for the year that contains 12 months at the 8th month of the year, you can only say "Thank You God"
How much foolish can you be? If the country has truly met its revenue expectations, then there was no need for the unnecessary massive borrowing that we experienced earlier in the year. That said, what are the plans for the said excess revenue we will be making from now till the end of the year? Do not be fooled because you want to support anything the president says.

That said, in the scheme of things, Nigeria is a very small country and will be more affected by any trade policies made against it by the US. The earlier you learn and understand basic economics, the more reasonable you will be to know that this reckless talk is highly unnecessary.

Less than N30 difference between dollar and naira for a year. That's what we called stability in currency
How much was dollar as of April 2025 and how much is it now? The difference between then and now is way over N30. Are you truly ignorant or you just like to peddle lies that seems reasonable to you?

What justice is she seeking? Is the mark on her face not enough penitent for her offense? She should just endure her pain and let go instead of exposing herself further.

But how did she wait to be inflicted with such marks, that is if it is real.

No mind them. Later they will say the Youths are involved in Yahoo. Yet you will say minimum wage is 70k without any benefits oooo. Subsidy is gone. Yet one man somewhere is collecting lifetime salary because he made getting passport smoother. Isn't he being paid for doin his job? Abi na me go come make passport process smoother for him? Are we collecting the passport for free?
We have a very corrupt system that find ways to enrich the corrupt ones at the expense of the masses. The funniest part is the foolish masses that hails such leaders. I used to think it was ignorance but recently, I have realized it is a self-inducted ignorance to make them feel better than others.

What thought are you giving it? If you are dating someone for a year and hasn't shown commitment, the probability of it leading to a long lasting one is very low.

I lost 35pounds already. All the fats on my belly gone and I am beginning to build muscles. No, I never get hungry and no cravings for food and lastly, I am able to maintain consistent energy all through the day.
Thanks. Whenever you are chanced, you could help provide a guide of your transition. I lost about 35 pounds in the last 8 months, but I have plateau in my weight loss, and I no longer hit the gym due to timing dynamics, but I hope to find ways to create time for it again. My energy level is a bit better than it used to be, but I am yet to get to where I want and I think mentally, I am more alert, but I still need more alertness.

In my case, my doctor placed me on Mounjaro however, I think part of the challenge is that it is at a saturated point, so it is not having any effect anymore and I have stopped the injection.

Kingdavid579:
Science students pay attention to details and are usually very intelligent.

Back in secondary school, not everyone who branched into the science class succeeded. Some who could not cope were later sent back to Arts or Social Science.

But for Arts and Social Science students, there was no other department to fall back to — you simply stayed there whether you performed well or not.

After secondary school, I went on to study Computer Science in a Polytechnic. Even at that level, many students were dropped after ND 1 due to performance issues.

This is why science students often excel in any position or office they find themselves.

Science is very competitive, but I am glad to say that I have successfully completed my HND.
This reasoning is not good. You need drop it and focus on your life instead of thinking one is better than the other. There are people in the Arts who will do better than the best in sciences if they chose that part and vice versa. It is all about interests.
