This thick-headed, arrogant, downplaying, Wayne-Rooney-loving manager of ours must get the sack if we don't win today. I am sick of the inconsistency of the guy. One week Varela and Jackson are playing at full back, the next week Young comes in, the youngsters go out and our centre-back partnership is torn up, with Blind being pushed onto the left. Then we have Rooney waltzing back into the team as though he was never away, and Herrera and Schneiderlin miss out for Carrick and Fellaini. Go away, Louis. Just go away....

Bet you can't name three united players that peformed better than he did yesterday.

Believe me, Rooney had an average game at best. If he had continued the way he started in the early minutes, maybe he might have had a good game even without scoring. The goal he had yesterday is what masked his actual performance which was the petty trash he has been serving us which has now become his standard. at least 5 players had better games than him yesterday, and if anyone of these 5 players had scored, we would have considered that person ''Man of the match'' but not Rooney even with his goal.

My take on tonights performance;

1: Team played well, very cohesive and mobile unit except when moves broke down in the final 3rd( as usual)

2: Rooney? Goal aside was pathetic, even empty net he missed? All that running around was an attempt to con the fans!

3; Martial? Average game for the golden boy, seems those cska defenders were well drilled on how to deal with him!

4; Lingaard? Solid running all game and some good latter dribbles and an assist that covered up some of his poor decision making earlier on!

5; Depay? Worst player on the pitch even though he had only about 20 minutes! See free kick? See that cross to the fans? This kid needs more time on the bench (or less karauche time)!

6; Defence was superb "rojo and ashley" were relentless, smalling was imperious, midfield was solid, keeper was @ attention!

Not bad! Were still in this competition big time!

darmian is fit, jones is fit & yet LVG puts young as RB? van gaal must be very stüpid.

why not just give rooney a rest? play young as LW and let Jones play as RB.

LVG is really crazy. My support for him now is at an all time low because he can't just make the fecking right decisions. If we screw this match, it's all on him.

I was thinking the same yesterday night.
Wat if Depay is so poor now, just because of LVG's style of play?? Even the likes of C.Ro and Messi will ve a hard time playing in a team where they aren't allowed to run at defences or take risks they are sure could open up the defence.
LVG needs to unshackle the team and allow the players attack. We could ve scored as much as 4 with the team we fielded yesterday if only he allowed the attackers run at the opposition defence and take shots wen they saw the opportunity.
LVG needs to change his approach b4 we can go back to beating teams mercilessly. If he wont do dat, den he should fûck out of the team

No, i might not be a big fan of LVG but i know this is not true. Martial and Young both play that wing and they take a lot of risks when trying to beat a man. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't and that's why it's a risk. Memphis tries this too, but he has just been very poor or his success rate currently is just too low to even make the risk worthy. He's might be or have been a great talent or could be world class soon but currently, He's shit. That's it. Even Lingard recently had better moments.

Trust our 3 experienced players to put in shambolic penalties and the only lad to hold his nerve and calmly took it away was an 19 year old. tells you all about our current problems.

He's an idiot and is becoming very difficult to defend. Rooney was free for that pass, but he decided to shoot and it was done poorly.

This has got to be the most entertaining Utd match I've watched this season. Pacey, energetic and high octane footie. Middlesbrough came prepared. I'm happy we're at home or else we'd have been losing by now.


Romero is a great goalie and I pray Lingard starts on the wings for us. He's more fast, skillful and driven than Mata on that wing.

Though we should be concerned about how easy teams have found it to defend against us at home, even a championship side.

Martial should be played as a striker or not at all. He's just totally wasted out on the wing.

I don't think we'll ever see Valencia as a forward winger again. Dude has lost it completely as an attacker. Playing him there would be counterproductive especially with Darmian who doesn't offer too much going forward.

Bad lineup. Darmian and Val should have started to cage Sterling on that wing. Rooney benched and Memphis start on the wings so Martial can move to CF. My confidence is very low on this one.
