SIRcumalot: Season hasn't ended yet, Things will change. Still you can't deny that the media is out for this ninja's blood ? That's mostly his fault. Regards his performance, he needs to keep a low profile and cut some arrogance but he's doing the converse making himself hot story for the media. PietroRico: he still has plenty of time to turn things around.. All these media Clowns should fùck off.. He's not the only one having a terrible season at a big club in the epl this year A fraction of our attacking problems are due to his poor performances (LVG's fault majorly), and it's only normal for him to get the corresponding stick. But actually, Memphis does a whole lot of things differently to those other new players playing poorly. |

adeyemi2015: I think we should recall Janusaj instead searching for a Winger to buy. EPL is a difficult League for new Players to quickly adapt to. Besides January Transfer Window is a fluke and very risky! We need to keep managing what we've got, but if opportunity comes to sign a quality Player(s) like Mane, Leroy Sane, Mehrez etc then we can grab it! Janusaj gets pace, he can dribble and can also shoot! He plays a similar style to Martial cos he can hold the ball firmly on his feet, also can cut in from the Wing. If he's given more opportunities on the right wing like Mata, I strongly believe he's gonna secured it permanently. He's talented and good on/with the Ball. We need Janusaj to be recalled than taking a risk of buying another Depay! I don't think he would be called back. |

Besides, this is not the 1st, 2nd, 3rd,......... time dat City are winning a match in d dying minutes. Something smells fishy City are not in their best form now, it's pretty obvious. But when you can still win matches like this even while playing badly, you can win the league. At this point, it would be unwise to bet against Arsenal too. |

SailorXY: I personally will not complain if Rooney or Depay start masking their performances with goals They cannot. They are too mediocre to attempt it. Mata was doing it successfully for sometime, masking poor performances with goals and assists here and there but now he's been found out so he appears terrible. |

AdeLaNa1: Happy for Rooney sha. Even happier Martial got the assist!! Martial should hit double figures easily this season even with our terrible attack and we can't rely on him alone. We need more firepower upfront to see the rest of the season. LVG actually said he prefers out 1st half play to the 2nd. I have accepted our fate; LVG is not leaving anytime soon no matter how much i want him out. So now i have no choice but to support him since he manages United. chrisley024: Yeah, get him for RWF. We also need a CF and an energetic and creative CMF to replace Carrick. Exactly, the signings i was thinking about. We should make good use of this window. chrisley024: LVG will still play his Depay Depay shouldn't start again for now. He's not even worth developing, as he's offering too little currently. He should take a cue from Martial. We should still try him as a CF though. The win was good and there were some positives but i wasn't particularly impressed, but i hope the result from the next few games changes that. AdeLaNa1: Leicester seem to ve run out of fuel. Now would be a good time to launch a bid for Mahrez!!
We should get mahrez or Mane. Mane was on the bench today, he could be putting up an attitude to force a transfer. |

SailorXY: possession football is not our problem. The problem with LvG is terrible team selection, he selects like he's under a spell sent from the future. I have said this countless times here that this collection is good enough to win UCL. People say LvG wasted money but I don't agree, he is just blind or joking. If 4-1-4-1/4-3-3 gave us our best run since his appointment, why is he so dumb not to try it out again? He's tried 4-2-3-1, 3-4-3,3-5-2 since then but never the format where the team played eye-catching soccer. There's no justification playing Martial anywhere apart from No. 9, there's no reason Ander & Morgan should be on the bench when fit, there's no justification rewarding Young with a full back conversion after he showed impeccable attacking form last season, there's no justification Rooney should be undroppable!
A whole lot of foolish vapor emanating from the skull of the man, it's a world wonder.

SIRcumalot: If this was a normal season I would be scared cause I know CFC,MCFC and the gunners already have a spot but it is not the case leceister won't last am not worried.
I probably want Jose here than most I just want him to enter with the right attitude and at the right time. I don't believe Leceister is going to win the league, but it would be treasonable to think they can't break into top 4. Spurs or Liverpool with Klopp doing some business in January too can, so where does that leave us? The time Fergie retired was the best moment we could have had but we fecked it up with people like Bobby C vetoing against Mourinho, with other good managers available and we ended up with Moyes and see where it landed us. Our board already reeks of incompetence for years now and i'm not surprised about the direction we are heading. If we stick with LVG till this season's end and i know we'll most likely do that, and he fails woefully, we could end up worse than currently because when LVG gets the sack by then, Pep could be with City, Klopp at Liverpool and Giggs would be calling the shots at United. I understand your faith in LVG but it's not the right thing for us now. |

Maybe am underestimating liecester city but Chelsea already gave us a spot for that top 4 make una calm down. I don't want to start defending LVG but the guy is not totally clueless did you watch today's game ? Leceister current position on the table should tell you this season is different. Top 4 is not a guarantee for us. We'll need more signings and improvements from LVG to make it. And how can we keep fighting for 4th every season with the money spent and having made 4th the previous season? This kind of thinking would turn us into Arsenal or worse, Liverpool. |

capricornian: You are absolutely right and even with the stigma of being sacked recently he will still command respect from players and good players will definitely sign up for UNITED cos of him in January. Most top rated players will not come to United cos of LVG
As for those who wants GIggs to come in... I pity them and I pity Giggs himself. The best thing for him to do is to take the job at Swansea and develop himself while facing pressure. We need 3 wingers/attackers, a top quality CB and a top quality CM. Who do we trust to buy them? Because that is what it is going to come down to. If we don't get it right it doesn't matter who the new manager is, you can't polish a turd and the likes of Fellaini, Mata and Rooney will all be just as limited no matter who is sitting in the dugout. |

I really do. And if that's the case, he has to go - now. And then Mourinho is the option. It's the reasonable thing to do, strange as it may sound. He'll turn this around short-term. He wants the gig and he'll be going at it like a man possessed, not least to prove his doubters wrong after the Chelsea debacle. We don't have to give him anything but a very short contract either. SIRcumalot: Because sacking him accomplish nothing. And we go make top 4. Sacking him could get us a manager that would make top 4 and win silverware next season. Next season is LVG's last and he has no incentive to win anything since he's already leaving and wouldn't need an extension. How can you play such terrible football with nothing to show for it? Exactly, if LVG remains, he will need signings to make top 4 and he still wouldn't even win the title. If we continue with LVG, we might not make top 4 this season unless we make some heavy signings in January. Under LVG, we don't play good football and we don't even get results anymore. LVG is not going to win any silverware this season and next season is his final season, so why even keep him now? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by GBR1(m): 6:10pm On Dec 19, 2015 |
I love this club but we have to accept that we have been run very poorly and are getting exactly what we deserve at the moment. We have too many players who are not up to the standard and don't have the fight in them that they should have. I would be happy enough if we gave it a go and had grit, determination and belief, but many of our lads shy away from tackles and believe that since they play for us that good things will just happen magically. We have brought in two managers following SAF that clearly are not good enough and have been unable to motivate the players. You can't blame the owners as they opened the purse strings but to no great benefit. I have been saying since last season that I don't think we have the quality for top 4 and play more like a 7th place side and it seems that is where we are headed yet again.
I know that many people think that with our fan base and money that we will get back to the top sooner than later, but if I am being honest right now I see a giant in massive rot and decline. I mean we could do a Liverpool here. We need the board members who know the game to start making better decisions and bring in someone who can do a job for us. As it stands right now we may not make the CL again, and no matter what we think our status is, many top players will not be happy to move to Manchester and play for us in our current state. |
