dolapobello1: Did you happen to notice that the currency is in Dollars?
If you're looking for service providers in the UK offerring cheap international calls (presumably to Nigeria), a Lycamobile or Lebara sim would more than suffice. At 1-3pence a minute, I don't think you would find better. And the sim cards are ubiquitous, meaning you can always get them for free, or next to nothing at the most random places - airports, restaurants, school offices etc...
However, I'm not entirely sure about the call and data rates within the UK, but I'm fairly certain that they are quite substantial, relative to international call rates.
That's my two british-american kobo. Thanks a whole lot bro. I was thinking lebara charges in pounds per minute ... @justwise, can you help out with the call and data rate of these network providers within the uk? Thanks. |

Good morning all.. I saw on wakanow.com that they have an international Travel SIM that have very good call/data rates in the UK. My question is if anyone knows about their services and if their promises are true or they have hidden charges. CALL RATES FOR UK O2--- $0.39/Min T-Mobile-- $0.40/min DATA RATES per 1MB O2-- $0.11 T-Mobile-- $0.060 www.wakanow.com/ng/travelsimcard/Thanks! |

onwards: compliments of the season!!
Thanks a lot! I appreciate the effort and time you put into your reply to that post. I'm currently safely between the range you recommended and i intend to try my very best to close the gap between my current grade and the 4.5 mark. Funnily, I share the same sentiments as you. I've had the passion for mechanical engineering since my uncle taught me how to make paper models of boats, planes and cars. That's a very long way back into my childhood. I still can't understand how i missed it along the way.
Thanks again for the moral support. I will give my all from now henceforth and let God handle the rest.
I also need a bit of enlightenment on this issue. Do any of these choices of options in mechanical engineering affect a possible future switch to power systems engineering. 1) industrial production engineering 2) automotive engineering 3) air conditioning and refrigeration engineering.
Is any choice going to reduce or improve the chances of furthering in the direction of power systems engineering?
To the rest of the team: Xfire, darellriver and all. Thank you all, Merry Xmas in arrears and a wonderful and prosperous new year in advance. God bless. Let me guess, you are a FUTO student... if you want to venture into power systems engineering, then you have to go with ATE... That's the best option for you, though none will hinder you in furthering in that direction |

jelmusboy: My corrected award letter got rejected by University of East London cos the a money was quoted in US Dollars instead of pounds sterling. 2. Cos the NDDC website was not on the award letter.
Had to apply for another course at University of Salford which is more expensive than East London through Godson.
Hopeful to get my unconditional admission letter by next week for release of CAS. If you made a 2-1, you will get good discount from Salford. That pounds -dollars issue was a problem for me but with the help of Godson, Coventry had to accept the letter. Sorry for your pains bro... I pray for the best for you. |

Do you see how we always make the news, winning or not How many top teams are at the bottom of the table, yet the media doesn't bat an eye.

worry359: It may not be mandatory but going with a single ticket can cause complications at point of entry. At Nigerian airport departure people have had problems and been delayed or had money extorted with single tickets. Remember that you can be refused even at P.O.E. into Uk or USA just because the officer is not convinced that you are genuine, so why give them any chance? Now this is scary... |
