I went to the office today, but just like many before me, I couldn't submit the acceptance form cos my guarantor did not STAMP the letter. So if you intend going tomorrow, you should make sure yours is stamped and signed.

If you are facing difficulties with getting the form signed by your guarantor, then I THINK you have a little more time to do so. I had to go back to their office when my guarantor told me he's traveled and won't be back till Friday. I was told to bring it latest MONDAY as they intend rounding up next week.

I also gathered that the list released is the MERIT list. That the VC's list will soon be out...... only u must have an oga@dtop...

I think it's not a wise decision. Getting a job after Msc is very difficult but trying to get a job with a degree from these cheap schools may even be worse. Think long and hard before you commit that kind of money to the UK education system.

Try good schools in China,Australia, America and maybe singapore

Think of return on investment,can I get a job in nigeria? Can I use this degree to get a job anywhere in the world?

The UK immigration policy has been designed to frustrate immigrants in terms of job opportunities in the country.

If you must come the UK, go to a reputable school. It increases your chances of getting a job.
It is just a personal opinion.

I know u know about my intended sponsor... Problem is they have a fixed amount which wouldn't cater for those expensive UK schools... Secondly, they have approved institutions, MAINLY in the UK were they sponsor students to...the credible schools they have in that list may be Cranfield, Aberdeen and Leeds... rest u may regard as Cheap... and the cost for tuition in these schools is pretty high considering the budget...
If I mat ask, what would you advise considering all these?

Tnx a lot, justwise and spikesC... have checked the link and I think I'd settle for Coventry for other reasons, including sponsor's approved institution... what I need now is a candid review by someone who've studied mech engr or any engineering related course their... or if you know someone who've done so... I've seen some little reviews online, but none have been detailed enough...I won't derail this thread again after this... thanks

Start from the top and check the requirements. List out atleast 5 choices and apply to them all.
£13k should be enough for tuition fees in most universities

So don't bother to ask me my success status on the scholarship, the truth is if u see me on the award day you will never know me, because you will not see bethiano there, you will see a good guy, looking great with all goodness available in this world. I know that some of you have bad plans and will do your best to frustrate my success! Hahahhahahahaha, sorry to disappoint you, I have counter attack plans.

Plz, if you are yet to make a decision on how best you will serve this nation, pls do that ASAP before the award day, otherwise don't come there and waist your time.
I want this generation of scholars to be the best, I don't want fools around, especially cowards that chicken out when its utterly important to be brave.

If you have not been contacted, I pray you to forget about it. Shift focus to some other endeavours. Work hard next year.

NDDC have switched gears and I feel its time this thread metamorphosed too... we need to start asking the right questions and sharing ideas on the way forward... I have some questions to ask...

1. Do we need to go with our admission letter as part of the documents? Cos my school (and likely that of many of us ) have already resumed.

2. What will be the maximum permissible duration of deferral? Mine is till October nxt year for welding engr Cranfield. But I think its too far, problem is only Cranfield offers that course in the uk...

3. Does NDDC sponsor schools outside the UK? Like Canada or US?

I still need these answers brothers....
