Greetings guys, it's been quite a while. Do we have lecturers in the house or anyone that has attended an interview for an assistant lecturer position? Have one this week in the Engr/Oil n gas area. Want to know your experience and the what I should expect/prepare to face. Thanks. |
"I can't stand another man drilling her" OP are you serious? She even wants to do it legally due to the respect for you, your siblings and your dad after remaining unmarried for 11 years. What if she brings in random men to satisfy her urge? Or decide to do it secretly with different partners? You should look beyond just sex and understand that your mum needs a companion |

Hello guys, hope this finds you well. Congratulations to those who aced the test and have been invited for the interview. I wasn't invited though (PhD) but will like to share a few tips about the interview. I was a beneficiary of the 2014 award for MSc. The interview can be a mixture of 4 things, depending on the situation and also on your intended course or background. 1. Defend your intended/Undergraduate degree course. Questions may be asked directly or you might be required to do some explanation about the course and what you intend to achieve. I was quite fortunate that Mine was direct questioning... And I happened to know the answers. 2. What is the relationship between your intended course and your undergraduate background? This largely depends if they can't seem to correlate both. And it's a MAKE or BREAK question. But if you're confident both are genuinely related, then you shouldn't be much troubled. I was not asked this as mine was very related. But many where, and for most, that's where the interview ended! 3. What is the relevance of your intended course to the development of Niger Delta/Nigeria. Like the second, this also depends on whether they can see a clear relevance or not. But you don't have to gamble. Research and rehearse about how you can sell your intended course. If you do well here then you have a big chance! 4. Current affairs questions. The panelists may ask you random current affairs questions. This may be the name of your local government chairman, your Member of house of reps /senator/deputy Governor or any commissioner. Or when did this or that happen in Nigeria? Or which countries border Nigeria... Just from any area. This is not a killer question though... I failed one out of the 2 i was asked. That's more like it. The panelists are mostly profs (about 8 of them) from different areas, so there's a likelihood of having one who knows a thing or 2 about your area of interest/undergraduate degree. But they are quite friendly ... And they don't bully you in any way... You just have to be relaxed and friendly too and don't try to argue with them. |

The only thing I see wrong here is his comment about Jesus. Else he is free to practice w and be proud of whatever he believes in. But he shouldn't make jest of what others believe in publicly else he'll incure a clap back. |

Get in here guys. A Popular American designer Thom Browne has presented his new line of men’s clothing, aimed at the ‘urban’ male market. And this new line has a few items with styles that look feminine. He says he “borrowed from the girls” when designing the outfits for men. Browne presented his spring summer collection at the ongoing Men’s fashion week and it had a slew of dress shirts, tunics, maxi dresses and skirts which the male models wore with pointy toe heels. See some of the latest images from the fashion show and tell us if you are willing to try them Source http://www.lindaikejisblog.com/2017/07/tf-american-designer-creates-gender.html?m=1 Cc: Lalasticlala mynd44 nwaAmaikpe ![]() kandiikane

Seun:Many are mad but very few are roaming. Many sad events like this happpen daily but very few are reported More credible links to the story http://www.crimeonline.com/2017/05/15/mom-watched-daughters-rape-and-murder-before-having-sex-and-making-dinner-with-her-killer/ http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3831863/Michelle-Martens-watched-daughter-Victoria-Martens-raped-killed-boyfriend-Fabian-Gonzales-cousin-Jessica-Kelley.html |
A mother has been arrested for standing by and watching while her 10-year-old daughter was raped, tortured, strangled to death and cut to pieces. According to the twisted mother, she did nothing because watching them rape her daughter gave her "sexual gratification". The victim's mother, Michelle Martens, confessed to police that she watched and did nothing while Fabian Gonzales and Jessica Kelley — a convicted rapist — sexually assaulted, strangled and dismembered Victoria Martens just a day after her tenth birthday while the little girl begged for mercy. Martens reportedly told police that she and Kelley injected Victoria with meth then both of them watched as Gonzales, Michelle’s boyfriend, sexually assaulted Victoria. He then strangled her to death, according to the mother’s report, and Jessica stabbed the girl’s body repeatedly before cutting it into pieces. They removed some of the girl’s organs. Her heart was found in a plastic bag in a laundry basket at the home. Shortly after the murder, Michelle and Fabian had sex and all three of them later made dinner. It was later revealed that Gonzales had sexually assaulted Victoria on a daily basis during the month before she died, and took photos and video of the assault. The mother of the deceased confessed that she allowed random men rape her daughter. She met one of the men at work and the other online. There are also reports that she may have let those men sexually assault her young son. An autopsy found that Victoria had the HPV virus, a sexually transmitted disease. She also had alcohol in her system at the time of her death. Contrary to her mother's claim, no meth was found in her system. Prosecutors in New Mexico are preparing for the trials of the three adults charged with the brutal murder of Victoria Martens. All three defendants have pleaded not guilty to the charges against them. Pretrial hearings are set to begin in August. http://www.lindaikejisblog.com/2017/05/mother-watched-her-daughter-get-raped.html?m=1 http://www.crimeonline.com/2017/05/15/mom-watched-daughters-rape-and-murder-before-having-sex-and-making-dinner-with-her-killer/ http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3831863/Michelle-Martens-watched-daughter-Victoria-Martens-raped-killed-boyfriend-Fabian-Gonzales-cousin-Jessica-Kelley.html Lalasticlala mynd44 seun

Wow... Recklessness? maybe. Faulty brakes? most certainly... And these tanker drivers should by now be wise enough to know their brakes can fail anytime... Hence much caution should be taken especially within the residential/busy areas. Thanks goodness no casualty was reported. |
Chikelue2000:That got me surprised too... Especially Lukaku who had a very impressive season in a mediocre Everton team |
Team
|
ALEXIS SANCHEZ (Arsenal) Arsenal star Alexis has been involved in 31 Premier League goals this season (21 goals, 10 assists); more than any other player in the league. He has also managed his best-ever season in front of goal (21) in league competition having frequently been preferred to Olivier Giroud at the forefront of the attack, making it all the more imperative that the Gunners can tie him down to a new deal.
|
EDEN HAZARD (Chelsea) A figure who was much criticised for his performances last season, Hazard has had his best-ever season in front of goal for Chelsea in the Premier League (15 goals) and he is only one of four players to have beaten an opponent with a dribble on 100+ occasions this season in the competition (134). He made the shortlist to win Premier League Players’ Player of the Season.
|
PHILIPPE COUTINHO (Liverpool) Liverpool are likely to be back in the Champions League next season, and Coutinho is one major reason why. The Brazilian has been exemplary with his consistency this season, scoring a personal best 12 goals in the league campaign – an improvement of 50 per cent upon last term and the second-best tally in Jurgen Klopp’s side.
|
MARCOS ALONSO (Chelsea) Scooped up from Fiorentina in a deal that was completed just before the summer transfer deadline, the former Bolton defender has been one of the surprising heroes of Chelsea’s title-winning season. Ultimately filled a problem position on the left side for the Blues but had been on the fringes prior to a 3-0 loss to Arsenal that saw Antonio Conte switch his system. Chelsea have won 83% of the games he has started in the league.
