bbmpin:You can state your point without being abusive. And the tone of your response clearly shows you have understood very little from this post. |
babazako:Good observation. But if you consider it again you will see number 5 is not necessarily talking about sex. But the natural submission expected of women, especially someone you are considering spending the rest of your life with. It doesn't also mean that the woman is expected to be a dummy who has no will or say. And it doesn't also imply that the the woman cannot guide, counsel, direct or correct the man when necessary. |
cc150615:My dear, I have been fine... How about you? |
This is a post from my friend on Facebook about the kind of women we see these days that every man should run from. It reads... To my fellow men: 1. When you meet a girl who doesn't listen to your advice and prefers to live the way she wants. It's her life, of course. Let's her enjoy it. RUN!! 2. When she says she loves you but cannot prove it in actions and cannot sacrifice when the need arises. RUN!! 3. When you meet a lady who is excessively materialistic and doesn't even think about how to add value to herself beyond making up, buying the latest phones, clothes and shoes. If she spends unnecessarily without understanding the value of money and what it takes to make a living. RUN!! 4. When you meet a girl who's from a poor background but is maintaining a lifestyle of a girl from a super-rich home without a day job. RUN!! 5. When she says she can only submit to you after you both are married. Submission to a man is a reflection of a humble heart. If she isn't humble enough to submit before marriage, she won't be after marriage. RUN!! 6. If she has inordinate desires which are far beyond her reach and then relies on collecting monies from men to meet those needs. Trust me, somehow, she will have to reciprocate. If she's using what "she has" to "get what she wants." If she's not content with what her parents or guardians or you are providing for her. RUN!! 7. If she's so fixated on and addicted to social media which could be her only way of being relevant. If she's so influenced by the social media and tries to keep up with everything happening in the social media: latest this and latest that. RUN!! A woman should strive to add value to herself and, in extension, add value to her family. If she's more of a headache than happiness, then she's not for you. No woman should use her circumstance as an excuse to do terrible things. We all have choices to make no matter how bad things become. The End. #Copied What do you think?

Very nice initiative... One thing about this post that has got me thinking is WHERE IS THE GUY'S NAME ? Why would the name of the NYSC director gen. be written and not that of the one who did the job We have not given due credit... |

Change is the only constant thing in life. And to whom much is given, a lot more is expected. Coventry University have made great adjustments in one of the problems i highlighted before as the department of Petroleum and Environmental Technology have been moved to its deserved Faculty of Engineering and Computing. That is a significant indication of their push to be taken serious... I will now modify my earlier comment and hope they look towards solving the others... cc Preciousstones naijamark |
vechris10:What page are you talking about? |
doziej84:Ok... Understood... But hope you have gone on with the registration? |
doziej84:Have you tried registering online? I'm kinda surprised you are having this problem... mine took me some minutes to register online, and a few hours to get it during the date of appointment... However, you can still go on and submit your application if you have majority of the requirements as you can update your information on the go; and then pursue to get the stuffs you presently don't have... Best wishes... |
Preciousstones:Nice to know that... Best wishes |
If they did this to a Nigerian president in Nigeria and by Nigerians it would be understood. But doing this to a President of another country in another country is pure disrespect... |
Preciousstones:Lol... Dear, I like stating the fact as it is no matter what... I am here and not regretting it... I think its good you know what you would get to experience so as to help you make your choice by comparing the pros against the cons depending on your career interests... Cos as we all know nothing is perfect, not even the Harvards and MITs... I'd gladly welcome you here, though not here as you will be in London... what course will you be studying by the way? |
naijamark:GRADES- the school currently accepts students with low BSc grades for direct MSc, something you may not find even in Nigeria. AREA- just like the grades, they accept people from other areas of study not directly related to their MSc courses but may have something to do with it. For instance in my department, we have people from Biomedical background studying MSc Mechanical Engineering. It sometimes make the approach towards the course very basic so as to accommodate them. A PgD at least would have helped them to get some background knowledge of Mech. Engr. Though some might be baffled, Mechanical Engineering has a lot to do with "Biomedics" these days with areas like Body implants for old and disabled people. Just my observations though... I may be wrong |
I'm in Coventry university, and I must say this school has exceeded my expectation in so many respects. Maybe its cos of my area which is Mechanical Engineering, as they have major industrial backing from companies like JLR. The Aerospace and Automotive departments are also very very good. I do not know so much about some other faculties but I am impressed by what I have seen so far. The feedback is wonderful, and we get a chance to access the performance of our lecturers and our satisfaction on the depth of the modules. The student to lecturer ratio is also very good, and the availability of IT facilities and industry standard software. I'm not surprised at the improvement in ranking, although there are many issues that needs be addressed like Grade and Area consideration in admission, and odd department and faculty integration (them no try for this one at all)... |
wroskian:It largely depends on the school and the information you have to give. Schools like Cranfield and Coventry can do that but you would have to call them directly after applying to explain how urgent you need the admission. Best wishes... |
