Hmmmm. I'm a graduate of physiology from UNIUYO. I'm surprised that they admitted up to 90 students to do MBBS. In developed countries like the US, a kid doesn't fly from SS3 to the medical school. One has to pursue a four year college degree from the basic medical sciences before proceeding to the medical school. Sorry to say this but, most of the medical students study the course just for the title of Dr. They are professional crammers. I know how some of you have trouble identifying slides during histology exams. Lol.

You actually think dt everybody that studied biochemistry is facing what you are facing. Only here in Kaduna state more than 50 biochemistry graduates have been gainfully employed in 3 years time. Imagine the number that will be employed in big cities all over Nigeria.

For your information, Breweries, Nestle, UAC, NAFDAC, NARICT, NABDA, UNICEF, WHO, IAR, to name but a few don't joke with Biochemists.

You simply went to school to get a degree without clear vision and plan of what to do with it.

For your information, no company designs a drug without a biochemist.

Are you sure you actually studied biochemistry?

I have told you time without number that every course of study (medicine inclusive) is suffering in Nigeria because we produce more graduates than we can absorb.

Nigerian Breweries wants to employ 3 Biochemists and 1500 of them will apply

University Teaching hospital wants 20 doctors and 500 will apply

Shell wants 3 petroleum engineers and 2500 will apply.

The same thing applies to other courses.

You have been stressing PROFESSIONAL COURSE. Who is a professional?

If you think a Biochemist is not a professional, then you should have your brain examined.

Learn to read and understand. Sgt Ponzi Hater never asked anyone not to read. In fact a statement before studying past questions said study hard, but as a neophyte in the business you'll never know the place of past questions until u get into medical school, and you are pressed with mind blowing professional exams, that's when those who go extra-miles to study past questions are distinguished. In fact A students join study groups for the sole purpose of studying and discussing past questions and doing physical examinations in clinical class. Reading is a must, but past questions stand you out.
