This question has been on my mind for quite sometime now. I wonder why people travelling out of the country usually find it difficult informing their friends and colleagues, some even go as far as not telling their relatives sef.

There was this friend of mine, we do rapport very well, omoh, this next thing I knew was seeing his WhatsApp status one evening like that, dude was already in Holland. I was like ifeanyi, "you no even tell me say you dey commot" mah no lie, the thing do me somehow, but we move!!

Another friend of mine, a female colleague left for the UK and didn't even tell me she had plans of migrating not to talk of obtaining visa and flying out.
So I ask, why exactly do people fail to inform friends and colleagues about their departure??

Is it the "Village people mentality" or something ?? Cause if it was me, and I happen to be pretty close to someone, I would tell him or her.

I was surfing through facebook right now and came across this picture, at first I was like "Ok" because if you are active on Facebook you will know there are lots of images and pictures like this in circulation in different groups.
But when I took a closer look at this image, something struck me, I noticed that the Jesus displayed on this image is a charming "White man" while the devil is an ugly "black man".
I don't know if I am just tripping all there is an underlying narrative behind this picture.
Because why is it not the other way around, why is it Jesus not black and the devil white
I feel like society already ascribe being black with negativity and being white with light and positivity.
The funny thing is in the comment section of this posts, there were lot of Africans mostly Nigerians replying with "Amen".
