Contract staff and contractor are not the same. Contract staff are paid stipends while contractors are paid for projects done. His firm consulting for Deloitte means Deloitte awarded contracts they are supposed to implement to his firm. Deloitte may not have his name because he is was not their staff, but his company would be on their transaction list if such contract existed. So people looking for anything about BAT should use the right criteria else they will continue to distract themselves with irrelevant google search result.

Because his SSN and DOB was quoted in the Subpoena they got served,they have to respond in that manner..

My friend is in a deep dark place now. One of the most heart rending stories of this manner. He left for UK same day we finished high school with us feeling like we have been left behind. He lost it totally and that has led to him losing his house to that lady and mounting debts in mortgage and compulsory family upkeep has led to mental breakdown. How can a life crumbled twice before 50. It is really a sad one.

His main fault was living in/using the same address as the drug guys which is a big mistake that can happen to anybody especially going abroad. From what you highlighted here,the case was dismissed with prejudice which implies a lot. Also, the last paragraphs highlighted that it was more of a plea bargaining as Tinubu indemnified the whole America system of any future lawsuits that he could throw up as damages or loss.America can do deal with anybody who can help or protect their interests. The question you/we should be asking is where or how did Tinubu have such huge amounts of money. But as per indictment or being guilty as charged, it NEVER happened.
