Morgan Capital obviously made an error in the reconcilation of my figures from trading activities yesterday and I have been firing them messages since then with no response. Abeg, is there anyone here who has their ears? Maybe a number to call or something. |

mikeapollo: Where and when was the so-called ''consensus'' held virtually with ''everyone'', and with whom?. I did not give any consent to any useless subsidy removal and floating of the Naira. Only a foolish president would just wake up and direct its central bank to float its currency overnight, without any stakeholder consultation or engagement. It boils down to the empty arrogance of the Tinubu govt who thinks he is super clever, Why? Is Tinubu more intelligent than previous presidents/govts. that refused to float the naira or what does he think he is?. Disaster is what happens to any country, African for that matter, that decides to float its currency in an import-dependent economy. You first said, ''subsidy is gone''. then you went back to devalue your currency when you know that we import fuel into the country for virtually everyday use. Common sense should tell you that the best thing is to manage the exchange rate and never to allow the artificial, invisible hand of 'free market'' to dictate your exchange because that is recipe for disaster for an import dependent country Well, by "consensus", I mean statistical majority. Bare one or two fringe candidates in the last general elections, the three major contenders all agreed on these two policies and we queued behind them and applauded them each time they reiterated these things without querying them on the potential fall outs of their implementatioin. |

Agbalowomeri: It was a poor judgement to fight subsidy and naira floating at the same time. One depends on the other. This is the crux of the issues we are facing today. As Nigerians, I think we are just too emotional to critically analyze our problems and come up with the most cost effective solutions. Before the elections, there was a consensus across the nation - politicians, economists and virtually everyone loudly agreeing that subsidy must be removed and the exchange rate dichotomy be abolished. We were all too emotional and short in thinking to consider what the combined effects of these would be on the pockets of the avaerage Nigherian. We are a nation dominated by low income earners. How we thought subsidy to be evil and agreeing for politicians to do away with it needs to be studied. They told us subsidy removal would cub petrol smuggling. What is petrol smuggling if not a failure of the state to man its borders and protect its economy? As citizens, we allowed politicians to blame us for their failiure thereby passing the consequences of this failure on us. Nigeria is in a very serious state at the moment and there seems to be no respite in sight. Anyway, thanks to OANDO for this past few weeks. long may it continue |

yMcy56: Request for a "Direct Cash Settlement Form" from Morgan so that CSCS can opt you out of Direct Cash Settlement into your bank account.
We've talked much on this at different times here.
Fill the Form and click "NO" in the column where you're asked if you want Direct Settlement into your bank account.
Get more guidance on it from Morgan staff. Oh! Never knew. I'm relatively new in this. Thanks. |

emmasoft: Once it's confirmed from your target broker that they have submitted all necessary documents, all that remains is in the hands of cscs, No broker determines that.
If it's from an existing/functional firm to another operating firm, it will also depend on the firm you are moving from ie how quickly and willing they are to process your request.
In all, nothing less than 4 weeks from the date your new firm submitted the required documents all things being equal. 😒😒😒 I’m in it at the moment. It can be really frustrating to be transferring from an unyielding house. |

Anyway, you are welcome back to the bus ....whenever you decide to sell , please do it quietly. He doesn't even need to do it quietly. This is a public forum, he can decide to state his Oando sell status. that's no problem. But, regarding those who don't sell or buy a stock when you do your thing as unintelligent or some mumu is simply pride. He is going to ask you to post your portfolio next. yMcy56: That was how some guys made many to sell off @39+ and to re-enter the bus became difficult until today when it touches 73+.... Why not just keep following the market and news, instead of all these assumptions....... Can you tell us the reason for this post? TA, FA or SA?
* Meanwhile, over N5.6bn has been staked on +76M units transactions so far........ Lowest it has gone as at now is 73.50.......still ranging btw 73.50 and 74........so far... Good if we have people who are willing to sell. I bought more units today, will buy more if it ever goes below today's range. Everything happening around Oando at the moment is all down to market forces of demand and supply and so any short term projection is mostly speculative. I do not have the clout to influence anything. The real direction of the stock will be clear when we info from the expected financial report. |

** Those getting bored with O&O discussions, make Una no vex.......it's because that's the trending stock in market for now......you can be skipping some posts** I believe the profit taking will continue early next week and we may see it at 60+ before it rallies again. |

The stock has no business staying below ₦100. You really need to make up your mind and maintain a position. Are you not selling all your Oando stocks tomorrow again? |
