The problem is You foolishh kids not being able to differentiate between free speech and hate speech! Your use of the internet to propagate hate is the reason why the tension in the country is at an all time high!

Thank you for this, most people insulting the Acting President didn't even read through. There's a BIG DIFFERENCE between free speech and hateful speech. BIG DIFFERENCE between free speech and treasonous speech. What do you expect him to say, with the level of tribal and religious hate on Nairaland, which I'm sure he's privy of, he can't but say what he said. He is the President of Nigeria for Christ's sake, he's the number one person responsible for protecting the unity of our Nation. Gosh, idiots everywhere... undecided

Another ranter in the building.

As much as I agree with you, I just wish you were more mature and tolerant with your response. You claim to have started this topic to change a wrong mentality leading people away from salvation but the way you respond just puts people off and you set them up to fight with you instead.
I'm beginning to think you're not led by the Spirit of God to talk about this, but led by your ego and intellect.
There have been several comments on your response but you keep ignoring and continue with such. It is a pity, cos you are just undoing what you started and I am beginning to have second thoughts about your motivation and the veracity of your argument.
If you were out evangelizing, is this how you'll respond to the souls you're trying to win?
This cantankerous and contentious attitude is definitely not a fruit of the Spirit. I won't be surprised if you insult or ignore me.

Celebrities / Olamide And Don Jazzy Fight Dirty At Headies by gees02(m): 7:14am On Jan 02, 2016
The drama had all started when the highly-contested Next Rated award had gone to Reekado Banks, with many people expecting Lil Kesh to win the award.

Olamide wasn’t too happy, and when he went on stage to receive another award, blasted the Headies for not giving Kesh the award.

Don Jazzy took the insults personally and told Olamide that if he wanted the car (the winner of the Next Rated award usually gets a car), that he could have it.

Half a decade and three ago. Millions of hearts beat as
one. These hearts were bound by race, geographical
borders and rulers, but now they were bound by the
noblest of causes; FREEDOM! I was not born, but the
euphoria of that glorious dawn still burns. Our hearts
should once again beat as one as we celebrate our
home and Nation. A Nation blessed among nations. A
future beacon on this earth: NIGERIA !

Webmasters / Facebook Asks You To Select Emoticons by gees02(m): 5:52pm On Apr 09, 2013
It could make us more willing to express how we feel. Or
you could say it over-simplies our complex moods and
lives. But today the Facebook status update box began
offering the option to “share how you’re feeling or what
you’re doing” through a drop-down menu of emoticons
and media. We’re entering a more structured era of
communication, where both friends and big data know
exactly how we tick.
Facebook began testing the new sharing options in January,
but only released screenshots. Now it appears the feature
has been given to a much wider audience. It’s likely the
beginning of a global or at least US or English language
rollout. I’ve contacted Facebook for details. Most mentions
I’ve seen of the feature have been from the US, and many
note the similarity to an old Myspace mood sharing option.
Once you have it, when you go to share a status update
from Facebook’s desktop site or the mobile site
m.facebook.com, you’ll see a smiley face button between
the options to add a photo and select the privacy setting.
The button lets you select to share what you’re feeling,
watching, reading, listening to, drinking, or eating. Each
brings up a sub-menu of emotions, media,
or nourishments. You can add an extra description if you
want, and when you share the post will have “is feeling
comfortable” with an emoticon or “watching Game Of
Thrones” with an image and link to a piece of content’s
Page at the end of your story.
Facebook’s little intro pop-up notifies you that “Details you
add to posts also appear on your About page and other
places on Facebook”. That means they could be used
as recommendations for Pages, eventually wind up in
Graph Search, or potentially even be used as ads shown to
your friends. I go into detail of the business ramifications in
my article from when the feature went into testing.
What’s just as fascinating as ads for Kleenex when we’re sad
or where we sip our coffee influencing search result
rankings is what the feature could do to two core ways we
communicate on social media. We talk a lot about what
we’re doing. The music we’re listening to, the TV shows
we’re watching, and the places we’re getting drunk. By
making it easier to formally tag these things, we provide a
better gateway to experiencing them for our friends.
Rather than go searching for Robert Delong, my new
favorite musician who sounds like the second coming of
The Postal Service but with bass, I can select him from a
smart type-ahead drop-down. Friends can then click
through to his Facebook profile and hit the “Listen” button
to automatically play him on their preferred streaming app.
I didn’t have to go search for a YouTube link or even use
Facebook’s search box and copy his Page’s URL. I browsed
for and added what I wanted to share, all from within the
status composer.
Then there’s the fuzzy side. Emotions. Sharing how we feel.
To some it comes easy, with exclamation points, colorful
language, or typed-in emoticons. For them, mood sharing
could let them do it fast, and with a bonus little graphic
that could draw people’s eyes. But to others, saying how
they feel is tough. You might fear you can’t boil down
emotions like anguish or dumbfounded excitement. That
you’ll lose something in translation. And you might be
right.
But the option to select and share a pre-
constructed emotion could make some people more open
than they usually are. And that’s whole point of Facebook.

I studied the bible very well and when I say study I mean study not "read" Beside I also made my research. I truly believe in God. it's human beings like us that compiled the bible, it's not sent from heaven.
Religion is man made!

Heck Christians don't even go to church on sabbath day. God rested on the 7th day of creation but people choose to worship God on the 1st day of the week instead of sabbath day.

Good thing about christianity is it's based on FAITH...

FAITH works with or without christianity.
