Shma2023: Unnecessary use of words! DUMB: Extremely stupid. Synonyms: feeble-minded, idiotic, moronic, stupid, Thesaurus:stupid You are so dumb! You don't even know how to differentiate between dumb and blind! I'm not blind to have posted what I posted. You need to learn that for a building to be called 100m, it must be topped out. Floor per ceiling height will not show you that! The bone of contention is, BUILDINGS ABOVE CERTAIN HEIGHTS ≠ BUILDINGS INTERIORS AND EXTERIOR design. Again, you didn't conduct your findings very well. You might be a failure in making a useful assessments and research. I wonder if you ever step foot in campus.
Pick one building here and tell me this building is not 100m. 1. Britam Tower - 200m 2. Avic Office Tower - 184m 3. UAP Tower - 163m 4. 88 condominium -153(topped out) 5. Avic Hotel Tower - 141m 6. Times Tower - 140m 7. CBK twin tower - 136m, 118m 8. Prism Tower - 133m 9. LeMac Tower - 126m 10. Parliament - 125m 11. Teleposta Tower - 120m 12. Avic Residential 1 - 116m 13. Avic Residential 2 - 109m 14. Avic Residential 3 - 109m 15. KCB - 109M 16. KICC - 105M 17. Upper Hill Chambers - 104m 18. Altura(Topped out) -109m 18. Social Security House - 103m 19. Avic Residential 4 - 102m
Again for the umpteenth time, you can convulse all you want. We are discussing buildings open to the public already, not what is under construction. It doesn't matter to me if it's topped out. Get it into your thick skull if you wanna partake in this debate dumbo or go back to class now.
Shma2023: I will not do that. I gave you a list of all towers in Nairobi, they were plenty enough for you juggle with and come up with your fine assessment. I'm not here to spoon feed you like a tw@rt.
Simply because you may be just too fvcking dumb not to realize that some of the buildings on your list may be incomplete. Do I begin to add incomplete buildings to my list as well?
Anyway from my findings so far, Kenya and Nigeria both have 15 skyscrapers. Nigeria had 14 previously but Famfa oil tower of 103m has just been opened.
My link in my previous post to you shows Kenya has 15 skyscrapers until further findings. My link below shows 14 skyscrapers for Nigeria but when you add famfa oil you get 15.
Shma2023: Mhhh.. So if I don't give you any link you'll never believe GTC exists? Let's try this, if I decide to tell you Kikuyu is a tribe in Kenya without dropping any link would you still not buy that nonsense ?
Why are Nigerian these f*ckin dumb?
You are the dumb one here. Simply give me the link that may possibly have the description of the tower. I suspect they are not complete. So far, I only found one link that seems to say Kenya has 15 skyscrapers and I would paste it here. So give me your link so I compare the other 5 missing and why e.g AVIC Residential Buildings are not in my link.
Shma2023: Mister, why are you so ignorant? Did you really used that link for f*ckin sake? Even forgiveness will never do that! - Dumb f*ck fella with laziness will certainly do what you did.
If you see any building highlighted herein and was not in your silly link, and you feel it's below 100m mark_ POINT IT OUT!. 1. Britam Tower - 200m 2. Avic Office Tower - 184m 3. UAP Tower - 163m 4. 88 condominium -153(topped out) 5. Avic Hotel Tower - 141m 6. Times Tower - 140m 7. CBK twin tower - 136m, 118m 8. Prism Tower - 133m 9. LeMac Tower - 126m 10. Parliament - 125m 11. Teleposta Tower - 120m 12. Avic Residential 1 - 116m 13. Avic Residential 2 - 109m 14. Avic Residential 3 - 109m 15. KCB - 109M 16. KICC - 105M 17. Upper Hill Chambers - 104m 18. Altura(Topped out) -109m 18. Social Security House - 103m 19. Avic Residential 4 - 102m ... ... 20. One Place Africa - 99m
Now, you said Lagos has more skyscrapers than Nairobi, right? The onus is on you to prove to us that Abuja and lagos combined have more skyscrapers than Nairobi.
Your time starts now.
Can you paste the link Mister? Like I said and I maintain, I am yet to see this article that is putting Kenya with more skyscrapers (>100m) above Nigeria. I paste my links here. You paste from where you copied this from.
Wuoche: Which one is not completed in the list apart from 88 Nairobi? Again those research are cheating you cause all the buildings I have listed are complete and their pictures and heights are available in the internet.
This is a list of top 31 buildings in Kenya and this was updated as recently as September 27th 2023. It shows that Kenya has only about 11 buildings >=100m. Infact the 11th building is 99 meters.
samorobo: Yes bro. The recession that came with buhari destroyed the real estate sector. Nigeria would have been unrecognizable by now, most especially Lagos and Abuja. But it’s never too late. We are gradually starting to enter the boom again .
In few years time Abuja would have cemented her place as the second business hub for Nigeria. What Abuja lacks is good train or road connection to Lagos that cuts the time to just 4 hours or at least a nearby city with a valuable seaport.
But for all these, the potential it has for investments especially in the real estate would definitely have been second to none.
I don't know where Africa facts zone got their data from, but as at Feb 2023, this is their ranking for African countries with the most skyscrapers (>100m).
Wuoche: I think your brain should tell you that Wikipedia is lying to you. The building is 48 floors and not 44 as mentioned by Wikipedia. Again the fact that it isn't finished will make it to be below 150m? It has already topped out and what's remaining is cladding and interior finishings.
We are discussing finished buildings here. When it's finished, you then add it as the 4th skyscraper.
Wuoche: Do you listen to yourself? Here is a list of tallest buildings in Nairobi with their length.
FEATURES10 Tallest Buildings in Kenya A ranking of Kenya’s tallest towers in 2023.
Updated May 17, 2023By Miriam Nkirote SHARETWEET Britam Tower in Upper Hill, Nairobi. Britam Tower in Upper Hill, Nairobi. PHOTO | FILE A list of the tallest buildings in Kenya – ranked in terms of actual height in metres.

In 2018, Britam Tower became the first building in Africa to be feted in the Emporis Skyscrapers Award’s 19-year history after it was named the 10th best skyscraper in the world.
2. Nairobi GTC Office Tower The opening of Nairobi GTC Office Tower, the tallest of the six towers of the Sh40 billion Global Trade Centre, has added a new entrant in the list of Kenya’s tallest buildings.

This is redundant. I can also post a similar updated list of several skyscrapers in Lagos (above 100m). What's the point?
Infact here is a list of tallest buildings in Nigeria.
The top 10 tallest buildings in Nigeria
1) NECOM House in Lagos (height 160 meters) 2)Champagne Pearl Tower in Lagos (height 134 meters) 3) Union Bank Building (height 124 meters) 4) World Trade Centre (WTC) Tower 2 in Abuja (height 120 meters) 5) Eko Tower II in Lagos (height 118 meters) 6) Black Pearl Tower in Lagos (height 112 meters) 7) Bourdillon in Lagos (height 110 meters) 8 World Trade Center (WTC) Tower I in Abuja (height 110 meters) 9) Ministry of Communication Building in Lagos (height 109 meters) 10) Dakkada Tower in Uyo (height 108.8 meters)
Shma2023: If you know nothing, it's always good to shut up. Skyscraper is any building above 150M, Nigeria has none. For 100+M, LAGOS & ABUJA combine can't stand Nairobi. For 90m - 100m towers, Nairobi has more Lagos and abuja.
There is no standard definition of skyscraper but it should not be less than 100m.
From the latest Google search available, Nigeria has only Nicom house in Lagos at 160m while Nairobi only has two above 150m. This may be outdated info but it's what I found so far.
Shma2023: And you wholeheartedly believe Nairobi has 9 skyscrapers? Bro, what happen to data scrutiny? I thought you were smart enough to trash off these BS.
Nigeria also has more than 11 skyscrapers of course but this is old data as found on the internet.
Wuoche: Continue cheating yourself. Kenya has buildings of 20+ floors under construction than what Nigeria will ever imagine.
Are you sure about that? Lagos has Alaro city and Eko Atlantic under construction. Banana Island is there with towers under construction and Famfa oil just commissioned their 103m building in Ikoyi. I think Lagos alone can give Kenya a good match in terms of upcoming highrises although Kenya may still win slightly.
Abuja would have also shared highrise investments with Lagos but Abuja wasn't planned from the start to entertain so many highrises.
Wuoche: Skyscraper starts from 150m and two-third of that building should be habitable. How many buildings in Nigeria are 150m and above?
There is no universally accepted definition of skyscrapers but the least accepted by all is 100m. Using 100m, my search shows Nigeria has 11 and Kenya has 9.
samorobo: Oga that’s nonsense is not a resort abd it’s nothing close to lakowe. Never, ever. It’s a fvcking estate that looks underwhelming
From the first time I saw it last year on YouTube, I wondered why Ghanaians call it a Hotel. It lacks those features.
What I saw was a basic estate in a secluded village, more like building a small estate in Ikot Ekpene Akwa Ibom and calling it the largest hotel in Africa.
popizaino: South Africa 🇿🇦 far gone. Nigeria 🇳🇬 should be doing better.
What Nigeria has are small scale businesses scattered everywhere way more than South Africa and making up 45% of all sme's in Africa. This is why per hour, only very few Nigerians can be termed unemployed since everyone seem to have a small side gig they call biz. This is the bane of the Nigerian economy paying several informal taxes to non state actors while the real taxes that get to official or Government sources are very little.
Without these sme's (not the big companies), the Nigerian GDP in the formal sector would have probably been the size of Algeria's GDP or Morocco from my deduction or just double the size of Kenya's economy.
These sme's are involved in a lot of trade in Nigeria but also not very competitive and productive in terms of exports. They make up the core of the Nigerian GDP. South Africa is not so informal.
Which country has the highest SME?
India leads with 63 million, though Indonesia is a close second with 62 million. However, when looking at the number of MSEs per 1,000 people, Indonesia and Nigeria are the top two, respectively..1 Feb 2023
He's going to mention Kwahu Hotel, which in my opinion looks like just a cluster of buildings in a secluded village which was made a single Hotel. Should have been an Estate from my view.
But when you mention Hotels we know, then of course Transcorp Hilton takes the cake.
Deltamani: Asisat Oshoala doing what she knows how to do best, inspiring young talents all over the world.
Thank you legend♥️🇳🇬
Loza Abera (Ethiopian all time best female footballer) has definitely added some weight which I believe could slow down her game further if nothing is done about it.
popizaino: Ghana 🇬🇭 be doing everything right except building a proper city. This is Ghana produce in the USA. Most produce sold in African stores in the West comes from Ghana 🇬🇭 💪.
They are doing well in exports. In 2022 they exported more than double what Kenya did.
Bro this is a slum. This is why I like Kenya, the Tanzanian, and South Africans on this thread. When we do this banters and they post pictures, you see some level of finesse in the cities they post for the most part.
But it seems the Ghanaians here don't have eyes or they have the worst eye sights on this thread.
What for fvck sake is this? This is exactly what Old Ibadan looks like (at least two of these photos). Una dey fall my hand now.
valentineuwakwe: I dont get the English people and their media....they will do anyhting to hold on to the union or company called niger area which they formed! So Tinubu college record that shows a female gender on the transcript he gain admission is not forget abi? Even the CSU have alot to explain on why they were deceive to allow someone enter the sch by presenting a female bearing transcript.. Anyway this is Nigeria, where any thing can happen!
How then did the female suddenly turn male and kept attending classes as a male?
