To all who are coming to UK. Immediately you land in UK, open an online bank account ( I mean the ones that don't have physical offices) and request for a card. You will get it before you are out of isolation. This will prevent you from unnecessary wahala from conventional banks |
Please treat as urgent!!! Is there any CBN that prevents sending money to students from Nigeria in form of Living expense or paying school fees through Form A? |
okay. Thanks Bourne007: |
To those who have arrived in Uk, please did your NI come with BRP? |
Josh121:Most likely. We hope a miracle happens sha |
okay. This is for students who are trying to travel to the UK and wanna play smart. Do not apply for PTA with a false return ticket or cancel the ticket after you arrive at your destination. EFCC started an extensive investigation by going to banks 2 weeks ago to retrieve all the sold PTA/BTA's, investigating to see all those who cancelled tickets, be it return or both ways. Their names will soon be published on the CBN site and BVN (all Naija banks accounts) frozen. They say it might even affect their international passports. They say it is fraud and a criminal offence punishable by law 13 members of staff in Polaris bank were sacked in connection with this 1They have also gone to Union Bank and UBA. I don't know the full list but they'll surely visit all banks My people, if you are planning to do this, don't try it I beg of you Do not pay any agent that promises to help you do the PTA without any traces. And if you have done this, kindly return the money to the bank before 2 weeks of collection elapses. And to those who the time since they collected it has elapsed 2 weeks, I wish you all the best |

The fear of CAS is the beginning of wisdom for Teessiders CAS dropped this evening after disturbing them with email, calls in UK and Africa Tees Thanks to all who cared. @kayalade et al Meet y'all at River Tees |
It's no news that nurses write IELTS and then CBT, then they'll have every other thing sponsored to UK after they apply and get a job. It's 100% certainty Let her just do those exams. She does not need to have a degree before she can practice as a nurse. I'm sure she knows about the process. At least some of her friends/colleagues will be in the UK When she passes her exams, you'll have an express entry into UK as a dependant. However, if you insist on Degree course, then google and search for the universities that offers the course she wants, check the entry requirements. and the tuition fees. Either through work, or study, you can join her Anyways, if she doesn't understand the whole process, Holla at me and I'll explain all Thanks chidirobert: |

You be learner i swear. Come to Teesside or GCU You go learn lesson ![]() Slimberry1: |
Check the how to pay section on Teesside website. There are different means available there. For us in Nigeria, the easiest and cheapest way to pay is through Bank transfer. You must enter the bank and fill a form called FORM A. We were charged at CBN rates. However, if you aren't in Nigeria and your money is in Nigerian bank, it is better you transfer to the account of a trusted person here who will enter the bank and do the processing for you. The process takes, like a day to 3 weeks depending on the bank and number of applications they have. Because you don't have a mastercard, you might not be able to use the Payment Online option, which is by far the fastest means. Anyways, you can ask someone who has a mastercard to help you do this from any part of the world. To answer your last questioin, I make the payment ASAP so as to process your CAS on time. If you applied from Nigeria, you'll be required to provide bank statement. But those applying from some countries do not need to do this. marvelife: |
