Obanikoro stoned at UNILAG? This is a lie from the pit of hell!!!!!!!! And the fabricator of this obnoxious lie must perish. I was physiacally present at the DLI whare he spoke on 'Students in Politics'. At the end of his powerful delivery,Obanikoro got a resounding ovation. And students in their numbers escorted him into his car shouting "Koro ibo,Koro ibo!!!!!!!!!

Oh, you wanna perish for a politician?, so shall it be for you

He who curse me is cursed already, accept my sympathy on your way to hell.

Dear Nairalanders

If elections were to come up today, with PDP fielding president Goodluck Jonathan and let's say APC fields General Buhari, who will you vote for?, and why?

No names calling, mudslinging or abusive words please

There is no point in present likes of Agbeje that will lose the election.

Koro has track records and APC is just blackmailing him but sorry it will not work !

Tell me what he achieved in public service, latest being as a minister of state.

If you can convince me, I will flood NL with his poster

Lol my friend, Yes Obanikoro lost the election due to rigging. You see in Nigeria, some people are power hungry that they will kill and rig so has to have that desired power.

Obanikoro has the best interest of the masses as of now when compared to all other aspirant from other party.

This is based on past records of philanthropy and work ethnics

When the leader of the position had to make him a commissioner and a senator. That tells you a lot about his personality.

When you compare Koro to Amburdillion. Koro is far far ahead of any Ambode and co.

Are you kidding me?,Koro having interest of the masses abi kiloso?

Bring up Agbaje jare and then we can talk

I'm digging up on Ambode, my post about Koro isn't to rubbish his campaign, its just a report

I wish APC could field a vibrant and dynamic young man, Ambode being a finance dude under Tinubu makes me suspicious and sceptical, while PDP give us Agbaje, or Sola Kuti (a greenhorn though)

Friends, we need not haul stones here

I am not for whatever party

You need to read my most recent post here

I attack whoever isn't fit for public position, either in APC or PDP

Its not about party, if PDP comes up with Agbaje, then am afraid APC may have to step up their game or they're loosing Lagos.

For me, its about who, and not which party

On a sincere note, what makes any sane mind think a politician like Koro is what Lagos needs now?

Dear MOD and super MOD

Kindly move this, I would like to get more opinion

Its right time we stop being bias, let's face the real issues as they are

If we can assess them, we can then see which is truly better, and not one which Bacanista, TAN, GMB addicts, or whoever are trying to force down our throat

To those who have given their opinion here, God bless you all
Politics / OPINION: A Balanced Assessment Of PDP and The Opposition by generaliy07(m): 4:00pm On Nov 23, 2014
The political atmosphere is getting hotter by the day as 2015 approaches

At present, most of the political war is fought online, from Blogs, facebook, to twitter, and every online forum you can think of

There have been accusations, counter acusations, mudslinging, namecalling and even threats.

While the opposition would see nothing good in Jonathan's government, literally performing an e-naming ceremony for the president, names such as clueless,Jonathan, etc keeps coming up

On GEJ's part, the opposition cyber goons have been reffered to as "collective children of woe", and rather than accept blames or take to correction, they would rather hide under the banner "it has always been this worse, it doesn't start with GEJ"

Many Nigerians are still fence sitting, not knowing which side of the divide to fall in, and would rather siddon look

The essence of this publication is to help those in the group which have I will rightly term "Siddon Look Association of Nigeria" SLAN

:::::Scorecard on Major issues::::

1. Infrastructure: in terms of infrastructural facilities, majority of the governors on both sides have failed woefully

However, there are exceptions, in PDP, states like Akwa Ibom, Rivers (under Amaechi, as a PDP gov.,), and a few others up north

States being ruled by opposition that have witnessed a level of infrastructural development include, most notably, Lagos, Osun, Ogun, Edo and Kwara(partly under PDP too) and Imo

Others like Oyo, Ekiti and haven't fared notably well

In terms of infrastructure, one may be tempted to give it to the opposition

2. Education: The PDP government at the center, the FG, has done its bit in this sector

Creation of the Almajiri schools, the federal universities, scholarship funds etc are laudable. Even if they aren't being implemented as they should be, the intention of GEJ is commendable

The opposition, particularly in the southwest haven't done too well in this area, the ridiculous increase in tuition fee in LASU and OOU are totally undesirable. Forget the cosmetic and politically motivated reduction.
However, Ogbeni Aregbe of the state of Osun is commendable in this area, His achievements are second to none
Others are; Rabiu Kwankwaso,APC, Kano... Good
APC: Rochas Okorocha... Fair
PDP: Gabriel Suswan... Terrible
PDP: Martins Elechi, Ebonyi...Fair
PDP: Theodore Orji, Abia... Below average
APC: Aboola Ajimobi, Oyo...Average
I can not categorically assess everyone due to space

3. General assesment of the presidential candidates on both sides

GEJ's strong points are: His willingness to reform sectors such as the aviation, education and road. In Agriculture, he also deserves some accolades

His weak points are: Security, Security and Security, others are Corruption (looks like this is synonymous with his government), prompt response to issues, tactness, and charisma

GMB: General Muhammed Buhari is obviously the face of opposition in Nigeria, his Strong points are: Anti corruption stance, clean records in public service, discipline and security as a former military general

His weak points?, the religion tag on him could stand against him, although he has denied this appelage severally

The extremism of his followers may also count, as there's a tendency for Certain Christian groups to oppose his candidacy

I can't personally assess this man in terms of infrastructure, opinions on this is welcome

As 2015 approaches, the next valentine day will not just be a day for lovers to make out, it will be a day when the future and destiny of Nigeria as a nation would be determined

Have you got a Permanent Voters card?, how then will you shape the future of the Lugardian enclave?

Angry UNILAG Students Stoned Obanikoro, accuses former Minister of lying

Immediate former Minister of Defense (State), Musiliu Obanikoro, today came to the University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos to tell the students of the school his plans for Lagosians as 2015 general elections gathers momentum.

However, the curtain came down before Obanikoro could finish his speech. Angry Students petted him with stones.

The former Nigerian High Commissioner to Ghana was rushed out of the university of first choice by his security details whom were almost over-powered by the civilian power of the distance learning students. His vehicles were damaged with stones and dangerous objects unleashed on him.

Obanikoro's offence was that he told the DLI students that he has never stolen public fund in his life.

This of course didn't go well with the students who felt he must think of them as toddlers to tell such horrible lies

Pedrojp, I don't think you should ascribe my opinion to 'not living around insurgency'

Believe it or not, we all face consequences of the insurgents' actions

From soaring price of goods from the North, to the image it paints us in the int'l community

My heart goes to those caught in the fight, we all have families in the NE too, so your assertion is unfounded.

Let's call a spade by its real name, Nigerians deserve better than the people behind this mess is causing us.
Politics / Should We Resort To Arms Smuggling To Tackle Insurgency? by generaliy07(m): 9:49am On Oct 07, 2014
It is maniacally bewildering, moronically horrendous and intrinsically unbecoming (apologies to masters of the
Queen's language; Kongi, Igodomigodo et al) to see how folks defend poo, shits and governmental misfits on
social media!

How on earth do you describe such dudes who would want us to believe its normal for an adult to discharge
mucus, and even try forcing it down our throat that mucus indeed, is sexy, so far the 'mucuneer' wears a
fedora hat and hails from their part of the map?

It is no longer news that the FGN/NSA/Papa Gangnam style/ NOI all goofed, and literally poured shit on the
green-white-green twice in just two weeks, what is amazing here is that some e-warriors would still try to
'enlighten' us that shit, in this case is good, as it is meant to clean a greater shit
Maybe am getting folks wrong here.

okay, can someone explain what these goons mean by saying 'getting ammunitions illegally in South Africa is
good, infact commendable as far as its meant to counter terrorism?

So should we take to the arms smuggling tactics of insurgents in a bid to tackle them?
Is this what we get for having militants in high places?

What is your opinion, how best can we tackle book haram without messing up?

Nigeria we hail thee!
