This skin-bleaching, poo-talking, cash-laundering, A55-licking, Amala-politicking, mentally derailed nincompoop, corruption-laden ex man in black thinks Oyo is his footstool?

I think he wants to look brighter than the future he planned for oyo state(before God delivered them), has he achieved that yet?

Oh, guess he's taking a clue from Fayose, does he realise Fayose had something on ground(roads etc) to speak for him while Akala left nothing but "Tears, sorrow and blood" (Apologies to Fela)...

I feel like slapping sense into his empty grey area

Governor ko, gomina ni

Omo ale jatijati

Ogbomoso people had better come take their disgrace of a son before we show him the way to gaol

This insults can only come from PDP though

See why some coloured, weak skinned folks thinks we Blacks are mentally derailed?

If only Africans will wake up and embrace literacy

They might have been misinformed

Same way Northerners chases anti polio health workers, and reject their vaccinations

Pity!!!

Food / Re: First Time Cooking Experience by generaliy07(m): 6:25am On Aug 13, 2014
Funny

Mine was around 6-7years old, I started with "amala lafun"(cassava flour paste), I didn't allow it spend the normal time on fire, ended up tasting like poo but trust mum, she refined the mess and turned it to the real thing!, mothers are skillful o!

Being the only boy and last born, I am not expected to attend to kitchen matters but in my family, that tradition no follow o

By the time I was 9, I was a professional already, could make almost all the major Yoruba delicacies, even better than my sisters.

It helped me during university and service years, my food was the toast of my hostel, even ladies jostle to have a taste once am in the kitchen

I hope to retire soon, once the aunty comes in, she'd better know how to do it better or at least meet up with my standard!

Anyway for me its fun, I'll still cook once in a while when married, so madam can relax and watch too.

Nairaland / General / Re: Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie; 'writing' Her Many Wrongs by generaliy07(m): 6:27pm On Jul 30, 2014
TalkHoha: A little error to correct. We all make these mistakes, just that this came within the first few words of your piece. I think you mean 'bothered' and not 'bordered.' Cheers.

God bless you, I was typing in a hurry, didn't notice that really, thanks

@ Mod, can you please move this to 'limelight'?, thanks, God bless you too
Nairaland / General / Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie; 'writing' Her Many Wrongs by generaliy07(m): 8:17am On Jul 30, 2014
I've been bothered by Chimanada's stance on
many issues

Her one-way reasoning on
feminism, the way she paints the Nigerian
culture, most especially her own Igbo (one of
the richest culture in Africa), and how she
writes to counter the stands of our revered
Chinua Achebe on tradition based issues

These, among other reasons, has always made
me think of writing to expose her deliberate
ignorance, and to make the world see that we
are in no way what she paints us to be.

Finally, someone has put things straight!

This link has it all

Take time to read, God bless you!

Can you bring him to the public square, tie him on all four, pronounce allahu akbar on him and then EVISCERATE the goat little by little, till he cries aloud so much that the 21 dumb.as*s 'Virgin' demons waiting for him in hell hears his cry and laugh hysterically as he approaches, cut him by pieces, to the tongue, and then when you're done, 'rinse' his 'martyred' carcass with holy acid.

Until then, I DO NOT BELIEVE THIS!!!

0lumide: He forgot to ask what brand of Christianity is being practiced in states like Ebonyi, Bayelsa, Cross er, Anambra, Imo, Aba that is not being practiced in USA, Venezuela, Norway, Sweden, Canada etc..

I hate hypocrisy with disgust! This prof sits his dumb asss in Canada and have the guts to talk?

Mehn shut up professor!! Let's see what brand of Christianity is being practiced in East West and South of the country that is not practiced in USA, Sweden, Norway, Venezuela etc..

Fuckiing paid hack talking like he is an intellectual. Granted that Sanusi is just a too fanatical to embrace modernity which may topple his chances of emir or whatever, Sanusi has contributed to Nigeria more than this loud mouthed fake intellectual prof. Who da fuk is he?

A prof in English? lmao!!!! Negro please!! The problem is nation wide and the iddiotic prof is suppose to ask what brand of Xtianity and Islam re Nigerians practicing that is not practiced elsewhere in the world. He didnt mention Yoruba Muslim states and others.

If he is so smart, why are his ideologies not reflected in Nigerian society? Oh yeah bittchh nigga took the easy way out and became a Canadian instead of fighting for change in Nigeria.

We don't need your opinion prof, stay in Canada and die a foreigner! foool

How on earth did you get those likes?,shows how folly attracts while wisdom repels certain folks
Now listen,Pius Adesanmi is someone i follow ardently on facebook and other media,he isn't a 'Canadian' as you say,and he has more Nigerian content that your broke a.s.s.,he talks the normal street language same way as an aboki upnorth and the guy in ajegunle.

He is always objective, and he frequents home, despite his very busy schedule, addresing the political class as well as the populace

Nairaland / General / ::share Your Experience At This Year's Experience,tbs:: by generaliy07(m): 7:05pm On Dec 08, 2013
I have attended four editions of The eXperience,an annual gospel-music festival in Lagos, however,i had a bitter experience this year

First,my cash disappeared while struggling with the crowd to gain entrance, while we were trying to enter and praise God,some others were there to steal

Afterwards,a friend's wallet(containing our ATMs,passport and work ID 'escaped her closed bag miraculously'....

For hours,,i couldn't dance, just kept thinking, till Midnight crew came on stage

BTW,the likes of Sammie Okposu,MNC et al shouldn't find their way to that podium anymore, till they have something new to sing

Don Moen, anyday, remains the most inspiring, while the hip-hop like Gospel peak performance goes to Tye Tribbet...that guy though

Yolanda Adams?...made my neighbours slept like a baby....

By the time Mike Aremu was coming with his whistles,i was on my way out

And thats just the way it is
