christopher123: An army went tp war during greek times i think its sparta war..the general burnt their ships telling them they should not and cant retreat..that is bravery they won the war
Another army went to war crossd the bridge burnt it and won the enemy...no room for retreat..its cowardice for them
R i p soilder...but if i might say
Vietnam fought usa with rusty weapon and usa suffered Biafra held nigeria hostage for years
Its not the weapon but the low morale and bravery of the army
Now this is army fighting civilians
This is the problem we have depending on foriegn powers we should be ashamed of ourselves as country
Biafra manufactured their weapons converted aircrafts to bombers built great bombs and guided their missiles
Here we cant even build simple pitsols but beg usa to sel us guns....they are making guns in awka
This is what we get hating igbo
Ihejirika has been vindicated
In biafra africa died
R i p soilder it was a Roman general when he invaded Britain..... |

Most likely by January, navy and airforce forms would ve been out. This is because airforce and navy cadets ll pass out by December and January respectively. The army should be out February. This is because the dssc cadets ll be passing out by April 24. Goodluck |

The nigerian army claimed that they were unable to fill the 7 slots meant for the dssc and ssc due to the fact that people were scared of the Job. That was why we have 3 and 4 for dssc and 5 and 6 for ssc. Lie from hell |

Damsifrank: well i guess Atlantic Aviation don't want to go through the stress of the recruitment process that's why it was given to global Profiler to handle it on their behalf unlike Bristow that conduct it themselves. Unfortunately very few companies place advert for Cadet opening positions though i learn't they all do have cadets in training but it's usually done discretely
We just hope more opportunities come up soonest. yes. I even learnt caverton sponsored some pple to zaria of recent. But they did not place the advert in the print. We only heard during a press conference that they were sending some guys to zaria. When i mt the chief pilot of arik, he said they ve just sponsored some peeps to zaria too. Only God can help us |
Career › Re: Pilot Career by Generaloluseye: 6:48pm On Oct 23, 2014 |
Damsifrank: How easy is it to get sponsorship this days when airline companies refuse to consider you even when you approach them with admission letter from an aviation school and states governments only sponsor those people who have connection in the government, so those who have no one in the government are left to source for funds else where which i can say is not easy to get.
@ Generaloluseye, did you also apply to Atlantic Aviation for the cadet pilot position? yes oh i did. I am just praying for more to come up. It would ve been better if they had not given it to global profilers. I even have one admission letter with me now and i ve been to lots of airline in Nigeria. Only arik responded positively but they re just posting me. |

I think with all the method that these heli companies recruits leaves one in out about the trustworthiness of their recruitment agencies. This is as a result of the experience in global profilers. I think the best bet is to look for sponsorship and go to flight school in zaria or ilorin |

naijamark: I wasn't really expecting much from the interview. Glober profilers look like some quacks to me. They probably don't know what their client (Atlantic Aviation) wanted or don't know how to incorporate this into their selection process and interview questions. I remember being asked all sort of silly questions like why would I chose bottled water over sachet water? Why would a kid prefer Fanta to water? At a point I got confused whether I was actually being interviewed for cadet pilot position or for the job of a marketer? Should I be invited for any test with Global Profilers handling it, I wouldn't even bother wasting my time to attend. same goes for bristows, they ll ask u whether u ve been near an helicopter before, whether u ve been to an airport before.........whether yes or no does not mean u cannot be a successful pilot. Na them know wetin they worry them |

Global profilers has got problems. They won't reply at all and the site is not functioning properly. I was unable to submit my o level and yet i did the test and completed it. Only God knows what they ll use to select. I guess only few people did the test successfully. |

Injustice is injustice regardless of how, why it is been done. The truth is that the nigerian army knows that only pple who are connected can get in, then why do they ve to tell the public to buy form when their application ll not be treated. Injustice sha |

@ all. If my name had come out. My plan ll be to go to the system and correct the wrongs there and not just thinking about myself alone but the irony of it all is that most of the pple that ll be commissioned ll join the evil rot in the system by slashing money meant for soldiers during peacekeeping and other operations, roaming with politicians and thinking about how they ll become senators and governors after leaving service though the last one is not bad but the major thing which is change that the system needs should not be left undone |

For those who do not believe it is possible that for someone's name to come out in the final list despite not being shortlisted initially should check the navy dssc that was released some months ago. First of all get the first list where twenty or so pple were shortlisted, look for ekiti state, and compare it with the final list where only two pple were shortlisted. Then spot the diff. Thanks |
