azido: let me use the NAF as e.g no officer rank from plt offr earn less than 200k.Now salary for same rank are dsame but your TRADE and other allawee is what makes the Net pay of Officer A to differ from Officer B even when they are course mates for NA engineers,medical doctors e.t.c top the chat.So 200k upward. You can correct me if am wrong

you re right.my friend gets 288k per month plus allowance as a flying officer.some of his mates gets 500k plus allowance(doctors).some 800k(pilots) no be here oh for those pilot guys

IT is not too late to discover purpose.I ll also add that some pple tried NDA but to no avail.but as for Emmanuel who believes you can succeed anywhere is a sign that u re yet to get it 100%.Your assignment is to a place. e verybody cannot be a Doctor,lawyer,pilot soldier etc.when GOD created us all, he had something in mind ..........

you re wrong.if you checked the advert for the 2012 air force,they said you must not be older than 30 by december 31.and they resumed training september.only them knows why they stated it like that.

Yeah he's right...ofcourse civil defence officer earn more than police officer, i think the figure i put up there should goes to civil defence officer, one star police officer is not earning up to 135, i think their salary should be between 110 to 115.

I ve a friend who is a police officer and I even took time to ask him cos of all this argument.what I meant is plus allowances.it might interest u 2 know that specialists among them re paid differently. let me explain a scenario to you, An uncle of mine got a job with Ekiti state govt in the ministry and was paid 30k as at 2009 while his colleague that is an health worker i.e health inspectors earns 78k.........think deep

I ve not been participating actively by commenting on this thread because of the abusive language pple use here.when i said the list cannot come out before 20th of august,pple were calling me names. i also said that training ll likely start by january and i was hurled with insults.the discussion is now about salary.though those guys might be secretive but i can authoritatively say that some corp earn more than others eg doctors lawyers pilots.a pilot officer who is a pilot trainee earns above 300k after passing out from nda (though other pilot officers who re not specialists earns less) ,a full fledged winged pilot who is a flying officer earns close to 800k plus allowances.a medical doctor earns close to 500k while a consultant earns 800k.my friend told his confidant he earns 288k per month.he is a flying officer(all allowances included and he s not a specialist,he read phe.)i dont know of a second lieutenant but i know what police officers with one star earns...170k(not a specialist)so i believe the army equivalent will be up to 190k plus.thanks

i say provided you correctly filled and completed the online application form, you will be shortlisted for screening & exam.
if you no sabi jargon sef u will be shortlisted if u get Godfather. I know someone who could possibly not have passed the exams but was commisioned in 2011. If you need proof, IM me and i will inbox you his facebook link. if there is no privacy settings, you will see the jargons and grammatically incorrect updates he posts on his wall. then maybe you can tell how he passed....or i can tell you who his father is.

All the people who ve been saying that the list ll come out before or on the 2nd of august ve disappointed themselves.from what i was told by an officer,no one knows the exact date what it ll come out but with what he told me,it cant be earlier than 16th of august.and i personaly think though i may be wrong that we ll resume training by january 2014 just like the 2011 set.thanks

this Nigerian army delay is quite funny. Some naira landers said it was due to fasting by Muslims though there is some iota of truth there in the sense that it wont be reasonable to ask pple to jog while fasting.it is also worth noting that the navy only did aptitude test but not jogging. That is for the argument but against the argument is that the regular recruits training is on going and another one(trades men and women)ll soon start despite fasting, and these guys re going to jog. I actually place a call to my OGA at the top and he said removal and addition of name is likely going on. Though I can't authenticate what he said but my advice to u pple is to keep pressing buttons.
