I was from Assembles of God Church(AGC) which is under Pentecostal and is the largest Pentecostal church in the world but it's like it's not the biggest in Nigeria, Pentecostal is also under Protestant.
So Assembles of God church members can also be identified and Protestants just like they identify as Christians.

Are Protestants and Catholics not Christians by religion? By American definition, if you are not a catholic. Then you are a Protestant. Evangelicals ( which you call gospel church in Nigeria) are parts of the Protestants. Understanding this classification is the issue you got.
