cool No! No! This is not heating up the polity because it's not inciting violent attacks. OBJ is just like U and I who see something and has decided to say something and do something. When he hand-picked him to become the VP last time there was no noise, when he took him by the hand in 2011 to persuaded Nigerians to vote for him we called it passion. So, now that the same man feels the man has become counter-productive and is capable of destroying Nigeria if he continues the way he's going, he decided to stop supporting him; now we begin to vilify him. We should thank God that we have someone close to the President who will not concur to all the wishes of President because of personal gains.

PoliticsIn My Dream by geniusbami(op): 2:32am On Feb 17, 2015
IN MY DREAMS

Good morning my friends. I had a dream last night, please, let me share with you.

U know it's good to always think good of and pray for Nigeria because this is the only country we have. As a matter of fact, I was just imagining a corrupt-free Nigeria under a disciplined leader last night when I slept off and had a dream. I saw a Mr. President scolding his Customs Officers on the heels of a video evidence of corruption against them, and here's what he said to them:

"I'm really upset & I think that I should let U know. I was waiting for the announced video to be shown; and that confirmed the reports that I've been having all along.

Officers of Customs, you are -.-.-.- citizens. You have to help us to build a better -.-.-.-, but if this is the kind of behavior, this is the kind of attitude that you have, you are not helping us in any way.

Indeed, today, I came to express my DISGUST and my REVULSION at the way some of you are helping to erode the benefits that we are making or we have to give to our people. You are in charge of revenue.

Everyday, we hear reports about malpractices, people collecting bribes with careless abandon; people who think they're entitled to take bribes. How can we get rid of corruption?

I'm not saying that nobody should appreciate the work that you are doing, but when you make it a condition - somebody should give you some money before you perform your duties...

I've known Customs for quite sometime; I was Commissioner of -.-.-.-, and the announced video confirms the fears I've had for quite some time. Look at yourself, I want to talk very frankly to you. Somebody joins Customs 2, 3 years, the person is putting up a building, the person owns a car; in what organisation will it take you 3 years to build? And it is not the exception, it is the rule.

Very often, my Minister for Finance is WORRIED, about the fiscal gap that we have; and your duty is to collect, to display transparency in the way you operate. And I'm happy in the initiative that -.-.-.- has taken, and I give him my full support. My brothers and sisters, let me be honest with you, if it means transferring everybody I will give him the authority to do so. If it means changing all the people in Customs I will do so, because we do not owe anybody anything. But I know there are good people amongst you; the good people should be influencing the bad ones, because your reputation now has been soiled, and this is something that we have known all along.

I want to use this occasion to send a signal to your colleagues at -.-.-.-, I'm aware of what they're doing, and very soon, we'll descend on them. And then -.-.-.-, one of these days they will find me there.

My brothers & sisters, this is a good opportunity for us to showcase -.-.-.- This is the gateway; when people want to do investment in -.-.-.-, they come to the gateway and they're met with corruption; go & come, go & come, go & come, because there are some who don't want the reds, you want the blue, you want the pink.. you will collect the green and the other colours.

Yes! Don't be surprised that today I'm in an angry mood, and I have every reason to be angry because you are depriving the generality of the people of their entitlements. Look at the number of people who can hardly make ends meet. Look at the number of people who cannot go to school because we don't have the resources, look at the number of people who go to school under trees, look at the number of people who cannot even have access to medical care and we need the revenue to be able to do that. And what is happening??

The money you collect does not belong to you, it belongs to the NATION, and nobody has a right to appropriate what belongs to the nation. And I've told -.-.-.- that he has every right to do what he thinks is right.

Of course, some allegations have also been made against -.-.-.-, their day of reckoning is also going to come. I'm not going to judge them on the basis of this, but the matter must be investigated.

And let me also say this: who is watching the watchman? You have security agencies, which are operating here, I wish that the revelation from -.-.-.- could have come to me through the security agencies, which are here. NO! That has not been the case. You have a situation where all kinds of task forces have been created. There are people who come here throwing their weight around, dropping names of so called high arms - I have told -.-.-.-, if anybody comes with the President's name, the first thing you should do is to arrest that person..."

The problem now is I didn't see the face of the President, but I'm anxious to know because whoever is so disciplined and can fiercely confront corrupt officials deserves my our as the next president. Who do U think spoke like that?

A customer that had issues with his modem yesterday complained to me & I contacted MTN on his behalf. MTN called him immediately and got the issue resolved. Wonderful support from MTN is part of the benefits our customers enjoy.

All our customers trust us, come and be part. U will have no regrets.
Phone/Internet MarketFaq About Mtn Data Share by geniusbami(op): 7:45pm On Feb 04, 2015
I have always wanted to know why some people on MTN network using smartphones subscribe to 325MB for ₦1,300 and do it 2 or 3 more times in a month when the same amount could give them 1,000 MB. That's 3 times value.

The information I'm about sharing with U about MTN Data Share will help you to know it is the real deal and everyone on MTN network can access it. I actually developed it from a chat with a very business conscious friend who thoroughly grilled me before he subscribed for the first time. He has thereafter become a regular subscriber. So, here goes:

FAQ About MTN DATA SHARE

Q: What is MTN Data Share & how does it work?
A: MTN Data Share is an MTN Data Reseller Service which allows MTN customers to subscribe to Data from a Reseller of their choice.

Q: How does MTN Data Share work?
A: It works exactly as Airtime Recharge. An MTN customer who needs Data pays to a Reseller like Geniusbami and gets his/her Data immediately.

Q: How Much does it cost?
A: 1GB MTN data costs only ₦1,300.

Q: How flexible is it, I want to know if it will allow me to use my phone's wi-fi to connect my other wi-fi devices?
A: MTN Data Share is very flexible. It allows you to use your Smartphone as a wireless or Bluetooth modem, and there's no restriction of the time U can use it.

Q: Do I need to buy a separate wi-fi modem to use this?
A: Not at all.

Q: But would my calls and sms not be affected if I use my phone as a modem?
A: No! It doesn't interfere.

Q: Do I need to reconfigure my phone or run any software on it to use MTN Data Share?
A: No please. It's a subscription to MTN original data service, it is not a cheat, so U don't need to tamper with ur phone's configuration.

Q: What devices can use this service?
A: Any Android Smartphone or Tablet, any Windows Smartphone or Tablet, any iPhone or iPad, an MTN USB Modem or any unlocked USB Modem to connect on a Laptop or PC. (It doesn't work well on all BBs, so it's not recommended).

Q: Ok, I want to buy, how can I pay?
A: Payment is very easy; U can transfer to GT 000 767 0825 Bamidele AYELABOYE or send MTN Recharge Card equivalent. Then notify me via WhatsApp that U've paid and indicate the MTN number that should be credited with Data.

Q: How long does it take to get the Data?
A: Within 1 minute.

Q: If my MTN sim is in a USB Modem, and is not plugged into a computer, can it receive the Data Share?
A: Yes! Anytime you plug it the Data would be there.

Q: How would I know that I've received the Data?
A: U will receive an sms notification from 131 immediately.

Q: how can I check the amount of Data sent to me?
A: U can check the amount of data sent to U by dialing *461*7#. Dialing it anytime will also show U ur balance.

Q: Does it expire? Maybe one week or month?
A: It has a 30 day maximum validity. During this time U can use it anytime of the day or night, 24/7.

Q: What if I don't exhaust my Data before it expires, can it be rolled over when I subscribe again?
A: Yes! Provided U're able to subscribe before it expires. If U allow it to expire before U subscribe U will lose any unused data. When U dial *461*7# it will also tell U the date and time ur Data will expire.

PoliticsRe: For Those Who Doubt That Buhari Is A Religious Bigot. See For Yourselves by geniusbami(m): 8:45pm On Jan 26, 2015
hairyanus:
Buhari In PH: "Allahu akbar", "Allahu akbar"!!!

Over the weekend, while many were being decieved by the hired crowd at the porthacourt APC rally, Simply because Amaechi desperately, needs the VP slot, i paid close attention to all the political and religious statements that followed. the former Nigerian dictator and leader of APC, Maj Gen Buhari was in Rivers to grace the state's mega Rally.
Regrettably, all effort by the Nigerian opposition, including their hired US Political consultant to remove the religious bigot tag on Buhari is now futile, as the disease resonated itself in PH.
The rally attendees were shocked that every comment made by Buhari was greeted with, "Allahu akbar", "Allahu akbar"..., "Allahu akbar", "Allahu akbar".

The Nigerian first Islamic party, the APC yesterday re-confirmed their disrespect of the secular status of the Nation, Nigeria. Buhari and his supporters inured the fear of islamising the Nigeria, a stand Buhari said is the objective of any true Muslim.

"Allahu akbar" being the political slogan of Buhari, the hardened Jihadist, who said in 2001, "Allah Akbar: God's willing, we will not stop the agitation for the total implementation of the Sharia in the country".

As if that 2001 unguarded utterance of Buhari was not enough he echoed two years later, that, "Muslims in Nigeria will ensure that they will vote for Muslim candidates in the General election". he will stop at nothing.

I have watched with great amazement in this forum as a visitor how the younger generation of Nigerians who never knew Buhari are crowning him a saint and an icon of itegrity.

follow this moniker carefully as i unvail Buhari in days to come.

Please don't quote or insult me. for once, remove that torga of APC-PDP Balderdash and embrace truth...I need you to come up with substantive and admissible evidence to challenge my revelations in the coming days about the Buhari most people born in the 80s and upward never knew.
Mr. OP, U've only said one thing, JUST ONE THING in so many words. So if I'm to summarise all that U said, it is that Buhari said Allahu Akbar (meaning God is great in Arabic) at the Porthacourt rally. But really, WHO IS A RELIGIOUS BIGOT?

No President of Nigeria has attended OIC (Organisation of Islamic Countries) meetings in the last 15 years until President Jonathan attended an OIC meeting in late 2014.

Buhari never attended any OIC
meeting and refused to join the OIC even though he was a military Head of State possessing
immense powers.

Who's a religious bigot?

At the Presidential campaign rally of GEJ/Sambo rally a few days ago in Jigawa State on January 21st, 2015, in the presence of President Jonathan, Vice President Namadi Sambo stated in Hausa: "Buhari ya dauko pastor a matsayin mataimakinsa kunsan coci nawa yake dashi? Yanada coci 5000, don haka karku zabesu.
The translation is "Buhari has selected a pastor as his running mate; do you know how many churches he has? He has 5000 churches. So, based on that, don't vote for them". That's a clear incitement of Muslims against Christians.

Who's a religious bigot?

Sambo also said at that rally that the PDP is the most Islamic Party in Nigeria because nobody can be more Muslim than him. He said that his name is Namadi which is a derivative of Namadina, meaning someone from the Medina in Saudi Arabia. At the Rally in Jigawa State Sambo also stated that he goes for the Hajj every year.

Sambo then asked if anyone could claim to be more Muslim than him Namadi Sambo. Then he shouted Allahu Akbar (Allah is great) several times. To close his speech he recited the AlFatiha, (The Opening, the first seven verses of the Holy Quran, which for Muslims is the Mother of the Book, highly revered by all).

Despite the fact that Buhari is a Muslim, he never whipped up any religious sentiments in all his rallies, even among the core islamic states in the North.

Nigerians, judge for yourself who's a religious bigot.

Christianity EtcThe Peacemaker by geniusbami(op): 5:19am On Jan 23, 2015
A Peacemaker is someone who reconciles two parties who disagree, quarrel or fight. He helps to prevent arguments, disputes or war, and he usually does this without condemning any party.

In most cases one side offends the other while trying to protect its own interest or to get some personal benefits. However, a skillful peacemaker would not call him selfish or any other name to make him feel guilty or condemned, as if to make the aggrieved party feel better, rather he will pursue the sole objective of reconciling the two parties.

Indeed, once a mediator is introduced between the perceived offender and the obviously offended, it is a clear indication that no judgement pronouncement or condemnation is intended. Once they can both be agreed, all the offences are done away with and the offender can no longer be prosecuted, and let alone condemned for those offences; he has been set free from whatever the law prescribes as punishment for that offence.

However, if the offender, for any reason, refused to be reconciled with the offended, he has rejected the work of the mediator and that in itself constitutes an offence against the person of the mediator and God help him if the mediator was appointed by the offended, because his offence has now become 3-in-1; the original offence, disregard for the mediator and acting on contemp of reconciliation move by the offended.

The offender at this point has put himself on a precarious situation because there can be no more clemency plea on his behalf, he will have to bear the full wrath of the law. What an avoidable fate!

All men and women born into this world come in a state of enmity against their Creator because we have acquired a sinful NATURE from our first parents, Adam and Eve. Unfortunately the spiritual depravity has continued till date. As growing children we never had to be taught how to disobey, to be unruly or reject instructions, it came NATURALLY. We are, by nature, enemies of God.

However, God had sent His only begotten Son Jesus Christ as a MEDIATOR between man and God. Although we are sinners by nature, God did not send Jesus to condemn us. Rather, He want us, if we accept Him, to escape the otherwise inevitable judgement. It doesn't stop there He wants to give us access to eternal blessings that are available in Him. That's why Jesus is called the Prince of Peace.

Ernestly, tenderly Jesus is calling U to be reconciled to your Maker. Why should you expose yourself to eternal damnation when God has made a way of escape? JESUS is the way, there's no other. If you accept Him, God has promised to hold none of your sins against you, however grievous they might be, and to give you the privileges of a child, no longer a slave or an offender.

As it is being done, nobody is tested 'without consent', and they are encouraged to do the tests, not 'forced', because it is held that it is their lives, they are only being offered an assistance as responsible organisations. But have U forgotten than every standard organisation requires a medical report at the point of employment, and U can't enter other countries without a verifiable medical report giving U a clean bill of health?
PoliticsFayose Planning To Breed AIDS Virus? by geniusbami(op): 11:11pm On Jan 22, 2015
The Ekiti State Government is taking steps to ban the compulsory HIV/AIDS test demanded by churches and mosques before prospective couples are joined together in wedlock.

A bill to that effect is already before the State House of Assembly to enact a law to make the policy an offence in the state.

The bill, The Nation gathered, may soon be passed into law.

The Project Coordinator of the State Agency for the Control of AIDS (SACA), Dr. Charles Doherty, disclosed this in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital, on Thursday during the commemoration of the World AIDS Day.

The high point of the event was an HIV/AIDS Awareness Walk round the major streets of Ado-Ekiti which was led by the wife of the governor, Mrs. Feyisetan Fayose.

Mrs. Fayose canvassed for increased support in terms of medication and awareness against stigmatization of the people living with HIV/AIDS

Dr. Doherty said: “The bill is already in the state House of Assembly to be passed into law. It proposes to ban places of worship for demanding HIV test from prospective couples.

The SACA project manager noted that it was illegal for priests or other religious leaders to mandate prospective couples to go for HIV/AIDs test before marriage.

‘It is illegal for any individual or organization especially religious bodies to mandate people to go for HIV/AIDs screening exercise.

‘The results should be given to the individual concern and married couple should be treated individually.”

Source: The Nationon January 22, 2015.

Many religious organisations, especially churches, have what is called Marriage Committees saddled with the responsibility of assisting intending couples through the courtship stage before marriage proper, among other things. They have helped many intending couples avert potential social and health disasters by helping to bring such issues to the fore and helping them make informed decisions, which in turn produce more stable marriages.

I hoped to read in this report a justification for the ban, but there's obviously none. So, on the background above, I am bothered, is the impending ban not a disaster waiting to happen?
