Nna! This thread still dey? 😄😄😃

Na here I restarted my trading career in 2014.

charly20:
As it is traditional, this is the 2023 thread for the forex trade alerts (FTA) community.

To a greater new year!

*********************************************

Remember,

1. These are not rules but merely recommendations which will do you and fellow thread members good to abide by.

2. There is a lot of money in the over 5 trillion dollars daily transactions forex market to be MADE and LOST. Study well before delving in.

3. Where there is money, there are scammers. Big money, big scammers. Take your time to watch what goes on before meeting someone by-the-side.

4. There are lots of experienced folks in here that are ever willing to answer your questions. Ask courteously and you will get the help you need.

5. It is not a race or about claiming to be better than others, there is always something you can gain from forumites as well as share with them.

6. Netiquette requires you show your worth before slamming the entire pages with adverts about your products. Your signature is good enough for this. If however you need to speak about your works, do so with verifiable proof. You need to be above board to show you are authentic.

7. Enjoy!

What sense does it make to set yourself up for early disapproval by so opposing Buhari? Whatever U hold against him should not have made U lose your sense of judgement when U put him in the class of clueless president.. "First blunder" is your greatest blunder. U might be a baby, if born at all when he was the military Head of State, but even contemporary history is enough for any uninformed analyst to form a respectable opinion of the quality of leadership Buhari has to offer. Again, that shallowness betrays your bad intentions. Political analys? U must be a joke; go find another profession.

Alan wasnt silly, if he follwed the 1% risk rule 50:1 leverage, mathematically compounding his profit would instead give him $8,000 profit after tax, amounting to an average value of $800 per year[ not adjusted to inflation]. point i am stressing out is, to get a philosophical perspective.Trading forex for a decade and having only $8000[ not adjusted to inflation] to show for it is pitiful; if Alan put those trading hours into good use by doing something useful, his IRA would be up $75,000 Going by avg. nominal income. To all traders, if you're still trading microlots, making profits in cent, and priding yourself as a good trader, let me break it to you. "YOU'RE FŪCKING WASTING YOUR USEFUL TIME".
10 years from now, would the market exist without you? YEAH
10 Yrs from Now, will you be running a hedge fund? NO!!
10 Yrs from now, will you become an institutional investor?.NO!!!
10 yrs from now, will your portfolio be quoted in 7 figure dollar amount? No
10 yrs from now, by how much will forex make you a better person; financially, psychologically, and physically?
if you're content with making a few 100 to few thousand american dollars per year, i have no problem with you; but if you're looking to do sonething spectacular with your life, and step your fin. status; trade differently or quit forex. "NOBODY GOT ANYWHERE BY SIMPLY BEING CONTENT"
U're my kind of person, Ezeigbo; how can I enter into the ocean for the singular purpose of having access to a greater amount of water, and I then I now cage myself within some 1% risk rule? I wouldn't even call that a rule, I'll rather see it as a tradition. And U know something about traditions? They're meant to be broken. I have such risk appetite that I ferret every possible pile when I can't find one. I've 'tasted blood' in Fx having made 50, and even 100% on my fund in less than 24 hours, so for me, I will rather find something else to do if by projection, I can only hope for less than 1,000% in Fx in 30 days.

Another thing you didn't buttress are the numders you call frequently.
1. Do you call more of mtn than other networks?
2. If then, are you the type that talk for long or short? If long then mtn super saver is for you because your call rate is 40k/sec first min, from 2nd to 5th min, 15k/sec n 11k/sec from the 6th min to all networks. If short mtn smooth is idle
3. Do you live in area where there are least usuage on mtn or etisalat network at a given time? Then try mtn zone or etisalat talk zone where u call for as low as 1k/sec
4. Do you want a cheap and flat call rates, then airtel 2good priemer is ideal because your first min is 40k/sec n 2nd min 12k/sec to all networks.it is the cheapest compared to glo bounce and etisalat easy 4.0 @ 15k/sec
5. Do u call a group of numbers frequently, them mtn true talk is for u. Call 10 mtn nos or 8 mtn nos n 2 fro other networks @ 11k/sec n 26k/sec all networks.
6. Are u a student on campus that loves cheap calls and social chat, then airtel trybe is for u. Call at 11k/sec all networks from campus after first min @ 40k/sec. Free whatsapp, bbm, facebook n twitter after 2mins chargeable calls valid for 2days.
With all these plans, there is no need to buy bundle because some of them are regressive in nature.
Please, is the "long calls" in 2 above a single long call or accumulated over a number of calls?

Thank you.

Much actually, especially with my broker. I Was able to get to $70 from just $10 a while ago, so with $30, U do the maths.

"Especially with my broker" because they have segregated accounts; there's micro account for people with small funds where 30 pips with a full lot will translate to about $3, depending on the instrument and the spread.

Imagine U net 30+ pips per trade x 2 trades a day, U're closing each day with a net profit of at least 20%. That also means it will only take U a week to double your fund. Then, in a month your $30 will have become $120 minimum. So, do U now see the possibilities?

The bank's requirements to sell to U are much. They hardly sell directly. The only way U can get hard currencies from them is if U're withdrawing from ur dorm account. And that will be in the currency ur account is denominated.

Hi everyone.

Please I need advice on if the Naira will get weaker or stronger against the Dollar over the next 1 or 2 weeks.
I need to buy forex for some capital expenditure in 2 weeks time. But do not have all the money now.

So is it advisable to buy as much US $ now. Or should I wait with hope that the Naira rate will come down over the next 2 weeks.

I note that Naira has gone from N202 to N220 against the dollar in the last 2-3 weeks already.
Which board are you looking at? Unless, maybe at the parallel market, I did $$$ Fx Transactions through GT & Stanbic yesterday at N206 and N199.9 respectively.

But to answer your question, the fundamentals are in support of a stronger NGN, so it is advisable you buy Naira now.

Phones / Protect Ur Airtime, Enjoy Internet On Ur Android by geniusbami(m): 3:35pm On Mar 03, 2015
Internet enabled feature phones consume very little data; as a matter of fact, U can enjoy 10mb for the next one week in it. Android Devices, (Smartphone, Phablet or Tablet) on the other hand, can consume the same 10mb in a matter of minutes or hours, depending on how much U use the internet on it. The pages load faster and the images appear more crisp & beautiful. How about online games and video streaming? So many features to enjoy on the Android device, so U're immersed in the pleasure.

However, when ur data suddenly finishes without U knowing and the Data hungry Android functions sucks ur last airtime, cool and the network informs U "ur last call was ₦Bleep", we forget to be gentle, we shout shocked at our Android device as if we can scare it from doing the same again. *funny* grin

It's no doubt an embarrassing situation, but I like to show U, here and now, that U can save yourself that embarrassment with the right Data Restriction setting already in your device. Don't be scared, it won't cause ur phone to malfunction. So, follow me.

Go to SETTINGS -> DATA USAGE -> Then, adjust that red and orange parallel lines to 1GB and 950MB respectively. (1GB is assumed to be ur current Data size). Make sure U highlight SET MOBILE DATA LIMIT. Also adjust the DATA USAGE CYCLE to begin at today's date. If today's date is not in the pre-defined dates, tap the pre-defined date for drop-down options and select CHANGE CYCLE. There, set today's date. It should now start your data reading from today. Otherwise, choose yesterday's date. Once U've done that, by the time ur Data reaches that 950MB (or whatever the warning level set by U). it will warn U, and once it reaches 1GB it will cut off data connection automatically, until U turn it on manually again.

Now that the anxiety is removed, feel free cheesy to use internet on ur Android Devices. U can get 1GB MTN Data now for only ₦1,300 and be up to the minute with information around the globe. Call, WhatsApp or text 08037228411 now to subscribe.

And how did you arrive at that forecast?
If you look at the trend and the fundamentals (political climate in particular), U'll see that all support a continuously weaker Naira. In addition, the CBN had hands off the regulation of the exchange rate. That is just like removing subsidy, so the market forces will now determine the price.

If U need a reliable broker to open your Live Forex Account with, just click the link in my signature and follow the link.

U know my suggestion? If U want to avoid the bank, deposit into your Live Forex Account and don't trade with it. Just before the end of May it is envisaged that a Dollar might exchange for up to ₦280. By the time U want to withdraw U'll have it straight into ur Naira account at the prevailing (higher) rate. I did that when the exchange rate was ₦204/$. Today now a $ is ₦212 at the parallel market.
Politics / Re: Before We Crucify Inec by geniusbami(m): 10:22pm On Feb 18, 2015
ChikezieU:
i dont have PVC, am i dead, did i register this year. Does any of the above points reason to register under aged voters. If immortality radistribution high any were it should be in the north east so why are the rate of PVC collection in those areas the highest. Please dont even start now to hide the real facts it wont take us any were.
Honestly speaking Chikezie, if we begin to apportion blames on why some eligible voters have not been able to collect their cards the INEC will carry the lion share; the electoral umpire, through its chairman, Professor AtrahiruJega declared several weeks back that all the funds required for the body to organise the election was already collected. So, INEC needs to explain to Nigerians the reason all the cards are still not ready.

However, beyond that, and beyond INEC, the essence of this post is to point out other reasons why many PVC will not be collected. So, before we measure INEC's performance of PVC distribution on the percentage collected, let's consider the above as well.
Politics / Before We Crucify Inec by geniusbami(m): 7:41pm On Feb 18, 2015
I've listened to many analysts and the so many theories we have all formulated around the rate of PVCs distribution by the INEC all over Nigeria, but I realise we're only measuring the success by the percentage distribution without any recourse to other factors that I believe so strongly will make many PVCs to remain uncollected even if the election is postponed for one year.

1) What's the ratio of Nigerians of voting age that registered in 1999, 2003, 2007 and 2011 to those who collected the Voter's Slip or TVC as the case might be then?

2) How about politicians' tendencies to rig elections; WHAT IF a vast majority of TVCs in the record of INEC are for fictitious voters, where the politicians hoped to use them to their advantage if we're going to use the analogue voting system.

Of course, as we speak, despite the geometric increase in political awareness in Nigeria, with so many more than ever taking interest in the activities of politicians, so many people are still unwilling to collect their PVCs, because they have decided not to vote for whatever reason, such group of people will naturally compensate for these fictitious names in INEC register. So, while the voters' population may still be within an acceptable range, there will be no room for anyone to claim the cards with the new digital verification system.

3) With the increase in mortality rate in Nigeria today, what's the figure of those who registered in 2011 but are no more?

Shouldn't the INEC, the political parties and bodies like the NPC be looking in these directions? Shouldn't these even be where the election observers start their assignment of ascertaining the probity of the election starting in a matter of days?
