I can excuse occassional tense misuse, but how can our 1st lady, married 2 a living president address widows n say 'fellow widows'. But this thing goes beyond 'English not being our mother tongue' or that 'we didn't vote her'. 1) Is it compulsory she makes public speech? 2) D best d country cud offer was given her, that's why we don't rank among d fair. 3) Our President don't seem 2 have any control over her, otherwise wud hv prevailed on her 2 avoid public presentions until her private teacher does a thorough job. What good then, does a Goodluck/Sambo ticket portend for us? Nigerians deserve better. |
@ Monkeyleg Thx 4 telling Rossyke, she don't know what's next. Well I won't so much blame those who don't know that every waste of public fund is denying him them d basic things d govt shd provide them, 'cos they've got too used to being a pple without enforceable right, not even a voice. O ma se o! Well, maybe she endorses d umbrella party's presidential candidate too. U see who's endorsing who? Birds of d same feather, (complete it if U know). |
NLs, U make Alibaba's jokes sound amateurish, what a place to check in when U need sm laugh therapy. I laugh in Patois when I saw this thread. Now, I'm very gd at mobilising people. Let somebody just gv me d campaign office of d PirigiDi-Pim office in Abuja 'cos I hv dis proposal 4 them: if they can advance me just N20m, I will organize all d zoo materials, d chickens, d tortoise, doggies n all dem family members, no be endorse? they will endorse all dem candidates 1 by 1, frm presidential candidate to d counsellors in all d wards of all LG councils of all states of d federation. (Laugh! ) No be to endorse? I laugh in Swahili !!! |

I'm listening to 'How We Do It' by Paradox (Masterpiece Records) |
lynxnoon:Yeah! I knew it! I knew no GSM Network Operator in Nigeria can EVER be trusted enough to think they make an offer for our good, it always for their own good; they extend the carrot to you and hide the stick behind their backs. All of them are guilty of it, they always give greek gift (give an egg to take fowls). Zain Joli mess is still there. Anyway, they were better thieves 'cos they allowed 10 f & f in the Joli. Glo messed my finance when they offered talk for free promo that has no ending period, I had 2,860 in my account, which should normally last me close to a month. Before I knew it, I heard 'sorry, your account balance is too low for this call, bla bla bla. I will never forget that experience. Now, they want me to spend more to call my dad and wife? Well, thank God it's not automatic switch! I no dey move~ |
My guy, is it still available now? And, how much do you want to sell? |
Uju girl, this may sound weird from a guy buy if he's tasted ur pot before he's signed a life agreement to always give you 'cos anything he gives U is material, and maybe sometimes emotional support, but what U gave him is U! Ur most guarded part To make it easy for U, he said it's 'with no strings attached', what a license to take his gift at face value. Otherwise, U could have just told him 'I guess U're giving me these 'cos U think U owe me, and not 'cos U expect anything from me'. and if his response is in the affirmative, go on soun; it's urs to enjoy. !If he thereafter comes back trying to pull a string, he is a trespasser, and should be given a trespasser's treatment, sandpaper his face and let him see stars in the daylight!! |
@ Roforofo No doubt, GT is one of d strongest and most flexible banks around, but with some experiences with bankers these days, I just want to advice that you communicate with the head office to ensure you have not actually given someone somewhere the power to use your money freeely to run a 'private business' without any official backing, in which case the chances are you're left with GT Bank has a website through which you can contact their head office and verify. It's wise not to wait to learn from your own mistakes. 'Caution' is the word. |
Roforofo:Pple who quote 13.5% for GT are very correct. I wanted to fix N1m recently and I had to go to Zenith and Stanbic IBTC. Stanbic gave me the highest, which is 15% PA. As it is often said, it is often dependent on the amount, duration and your negotiating power. I think 15% for N1m is just reasonable. |
inspired_m:So, my brother, if U can give me this car for 3.1, I'll deposit 30% this week. The colour of this one is Navy Blue, am I right? By the way, I'm still expecting your response for my brother's 2005 Nissan Pathfinder. |
@ Inspired_m I've discovered too that Lexus has replaced the RX 300s with RX 330 in 2004. But my brother, I want you to come down on the price. I'm really willing to get this car but you need to come down on the price for me. N3m is not a moinmoin amount o! You may please post pictures. Thanks. |
@ Jenju: Hello bros. Your performance goes before you on Nairaland. Well done. Please, I need a 2004 Lexus RX 330 from Cotonou. What would be the landed cost, pls. I would not mind if it is available in Lagos now anyway. I'm on geniusbami@yahoo.com Kind regards. |
Carshopper:We can inspect that next week if the time permits. In the meantime, kindly upload the detailed pix, so me and my bros could examine it together pending when we would come for the inspection. If not for his time, I could almost promise our availability for next Monday, buy let's just see how the week would be, and give us the detailed pix and the price for now. Thanks. |

@ Vipeman I've seen your hand on this forum and I want to know what my landed cost would be if I want to bring in a 2004 Lexus 330 from Cotonou. I'm at geniusbami@yahoo.com Thanks. |

@ Inspired_m: inspired_m:I am still waiting your response, my brother. |
Like I was telling you, my brother needs a Range Rover Sport HSE anytime next week and the budget is N7m. Pls, if you can post the pix here, that will be appreciated. Thanks. |
Is the car still available, and what is the price? I'm interested. |
@ Inspired_m I mentioned Lexus, Xtrail or Xtera 4wd suv. Those are the three. The budget, my brother, is less than or equal to I hope we can work something out. ![]() |
I initially thought I don't need to put anything up here, buy my sense of responsibility compels me to say something, so I don't feel guilty if someone falls into the trap and cry foul later. When we see a capable car dealer we now them; this guy is not one. No salesmanship skills, no stuff whatsoever. I won't even be surprised he's not only technically deficient, he may actually be a con man. Nairalanders, BEWARE! |
inspired_m:Eewo! I have a somewhat sophisticated taste and I hardly buy something like car in a hurry. Taking for granted that the engine is in top performance, electronic system is void of any malfunction and the sound system is of top-notch ambiance, I need any of the three cars to have automatic folding side mirrors, leather seats, cruise control and front guard, and, of course, around 2004. ![]() |
