A Director in any MDA who retires after 35years will have #24million as total benefits and only have access to half as lump sum.and the rest as monthly stipends. With this analysis, I guess you already know my option of the two alternatives.

Let's start a dynasty,
And raise the next generation.
Let's build a bond that cannot be broken
Forget SWAN, it is not for Maidens like you
For this journey we must thread alone.

Listen to the ancient heartbeat of our soul
Let's soar with spectacular topography
As our shadows drift on planet earth
And raise a new generation of world shakers.

I am perfectly at ease in your territory
I have wondered into different domains
And made several fateful mistakes
All these made me dangerously exposed
Until our part crossed.

I'm glad you are in my orbit
So, together we can fly around the world.
Please let me sweep your compound
Graze in fertile farmland
And drink from your fountain

For you I will throw in the towel
Let me see what I can do is expunged from my vocabulary
It is also the greatest scam in the corporate world
I denounce my affinity with SMAN
Because there is no true romance without finance
Now, will you open the "tembe"?.

"DONT DATE BECAUSE OF MONEY

Dear sisters, if you have a man who loves you and cares about you with the little he has, appreciate it and be content with it. Stop getting into relationships because you have a lot of demands and wants and you want your man to take care of them all. You should stop making your man a goldmine or consider him as your father that he has to take care of everything of all his Daughter's Needs. Your man also has a life to live and his own demands to fulfill.
.
In addition to that, also stop getting into relationships with high expectations. High expectations will kill you and you will get disappointed for nothing. If you are with someone and they are unable to provide everything you want yet you adore them, then find a job and cater for yourself.

If you can’t find a job or you are handicapped then walk out of the relationship instead of cheating and find someone capable or an organization for disabled people to support you. Otherwise cease getting into relationships and marriages for wrong reasons.

Money can’t buy love and happiness. If it did then rich people wouldn't have been single, they wouldn’t have been crying for love and they wouldn’t have been divorcing every now and then. Money just sustains life but it can’t complete everything! Be Wise"

FamilyRe: Must I Fall In Love Before I Marry? by Gentlebabs(m): 7:34pm On Dec 29, 2020
A Poem: Love Is Not Enough

Curtains drawn
as in a Shakespearean play
nightfall in paradise
in a steamy session
cuddling and murmurings
still, we didn't hear a word -
No doubt, we are in love!

Never felt this way
nor this secured.
Just like a cub in a pride
this seemed like home.
It was for us a beginning
the beginning of an end.

No more games!
The time has come
to hang this booth.
Make me a home
and focus on tomorrow
the one that is filled with hopes.

But I am in love!
In this journey of "Yes I Do"
is love just enough?
What about my dreams
does it matter to him?
He never talks about it.
Is this a red flag?

I worshiped you Diana
when you said "love is all that matters".
Did you think about compatibility?
What if he doesn't like 69?
What if he is SS?
Diana, just what if...?

Today in my world
the economic pendulum is swinging
fast in favour of women.
What if he is not willing to work?
So many “what ifs” left unanswered.
But I love you...
Is love just enough?

We can plan for years
use the best wedding planner
hire the best artist.
So much buzz and pageantry
put into an event of one day.
What about the marriage?
What if she still has baggage?

I love sex, she doesn't;
I love to club, but he'll pass.
Should I lose my life
because of marriage?
But I'm in love...
Doesn't love conquer all?
Should I just submit
and how for the best?

Love is not enough!
The real question should be
are we really compatible?
I have gone through my checklist
and suddenly realised
we are in love,
but incompatible.
So, this is where the road ends
for decision decides destiny.

LiteraturePoets Never Die by Gentlebabs(op): 7:39pm On Sep 11, 2020
A Poem: Poets Never Die

Poets never die
They live forever
On the pages of our hearts
With lines that resonates with us
They hug you so tight in their lines
And make you forget your past

Poets are Legends
They pierce through stony walls
With words that cuts like a knife
Not with the tongue
But with well conjugated lines
Oozing from the best of minds.

There is a man for every woman
A woman for every man
If there is a gift for all and sundry
Then, there is a poem in everyone
A poem that tells a story
A story or love, lust, hurt, all freely expressed

When I am sad, I think
When I am happy, I smile
If I want to save the memory
All I do is ink it in a poem
And never will it fade away
Memories that will linger till eternity

Poets are romantically romantic
Marry a Poet, you will live longer
They paint the world with words
And make the world a better place
They are masters of eros and seduction
Especially when they run their ink through your sensory receptors

When my time finally comes
I want to smile and die empty
Knowing I changed my world poetically
And to me, this is how to change the world
For even when we die, we never die

Romance"Oriaku" by Gentlebabs(op): 4:28pm On Aug 01, 2020
A Poem: "Oriaku"

If you sparkle as the morning stars;
I'll call you Bewaji.
If you are to be cared for and pampered;
I shall call you "Abeke".

But I adore and cherish you so much;
Maybe, just maybe I'll call you "Akanke"
If we weathered the storm together;
You earned the rights to be called "Alake"

Your father called you Ayinke
Because you are worth praising
Did you say you were a chike of persuasion
Let's call you "Abebi"

If her name is "Amope"
She is an encyclopedia of knowledge
You hesitated when I made to carry you
Until i called you Abegbe

If I forget your morning beauty
I'll never forget "Abike"
When men fought Lion for your attention
They forgot your "oriki" is "Aduke"

You bring me joy my Ayoka
So, you'll always be my "Aponke"
As I will hold and carry you in love
If I get lost in all these beautiful "Oriki's"
I'll just call you "Duduke", my one and only "Oriaku"

A Poem: Road Rage

When I ride and glide
I expect some sanity
Sanity, in a most insane world.

You don't want to poke me
A little to the right, then left
Lest I unleash my road rage on you.

There is a fire in me that glows
It comes from within when activated
Best you "dey your dey" and stay on track.

But, wait! Sometimes life will throw darts at you
A little to the right, then left
Focus, smile and say, "This too shall pass".

If I cross your lane, show some love
I might just need an Angel in human form
And that may just be all the light I need to see.

Loose the road rage fast
We all woke up with different challenges
Just embrace yours and choose to win.

Ogun governor is even closing international borders ?
Lol ... this Buhari is a shithole, I swear.

When we tell zombies that Abba Kyari is the de facto president of Nigeria and that Buhari is just a piece of Mannequin decorating
the Villa, they argue.

Since Kyari was quarantined for Covid 19, nothing seems to be happening in the villa again. No one is giving orders.
Buhari is senile, lifeless and only used in the Villa for photoshoot.

Every governor is now a president and commander-in-Chief of his state.

.
If you are in Nigeria, you would have known that the FG already declared the closure of all air and land boarders. The actions of the Governor, as it relates to Ogun boardering the Republic Of Benin is a follow up from a presidential directive.

(Dedicated to the couple who lost their lives during the gas explosion on Sunday 15th March, 2020 at Abule Ado, Lagos - Nigeria)

From far away
We heard the loud bang
It sounded rapturous
But it was not to be
Louder than it all
Was your sun setting at noonday
A very black Sunday it was
As the smoke rented our airspace

The blast darkened your Sun
Hopes and dreams shattered
In an already hopeless nation
With less regard for human life
Is it really true you two are gone?
Is it really true Junior also returned?
How my glands are filled with tears...

The agony, the pleas for mercy
Chisom, God is with you always
Better in heaven, than this wicked world
The death that took a promising couple
When we hoped to welcome Junior
Who cursed this nation? Who?

Let us consult the Oracle
That we may make atonement
And cleanse our land of evil
We plead the blood over all
But when I looked into the skies
Your stars shone brightly
Because you transited as believers

Chi, my hands are weak
Why did God allow this, why?
When I close my eyes, I see you
Your unborn child...
I still see your dimple
And your hubby's carved nose
Now I am suffering from insomnia

Never again shall there be infant of days
Never again shall we be cut in our prime
But now that your sun already set at noonday
You three are already on board
For you, it is the final call
We are coming, not just yet
It is a debt we owe. Adieu!

CrimeSay A Prayer For Them by Gentlebabs(op): 6:39am On Mar 17, 2020
Dedicated To All Who Lost Their Lives During The Abule Ado Community Gas Explosion

She died in the service of the Lord
She died in active service
She dared where others cowered
She is now our Heroine
But in all things, we thank you Lord...

We don't know the why?
Why did HE take her on a sabbath?
Maybe because she is a saint
Who gave of all, until she gave of herself
But we cannot question the Creator

Had the fire service been swift...
Had the authorities been proactive...
None layeth it to heart
Alongside her proteges
They have all into peace

We stand with Bethlehem international Catholic School
Holy Mary mother of God, pray for us
We decree quick recovery to the injured
To the families of the bereaved
Commiserations, God knowest...

To Sister Henrieta Alokha and others
You have transited into peace
Where the grass is greener
And the water purer
Rest perfectly in the bossom of our God

Take a minute as you navigate through this piece
Say a prayer for them
Say a prayer for Nigeria
That affliction rise not again
That's what Psalm 122 verse 6 says

I wish I could ask God why?
Children cut in their prime
Injuries with scars through time
Who will heal our land?
We pray for mercy over our nation
Because from the begining, it was not so

Sister Henrietta has finished her cause
Surely her epitaph shall read
To the glory of God, for the benefit of mankind
For a life of selflessness and service
What will yours read?
When your sun finally set?
Live to leave a legacy

My ink drips red; blood
In honour of the departed
I drop these poetic lines
That I'll remember you for live
In prayers and supplications
And hoping it will stir a prayer revival
In our beloveth Nation

It you know your DOB
Nobody knows their DOD
Live right today and ever after
And you'll never be afraid of tomorrow
Jesus has conquered death

InvestmentTake Up Life Insurance Plan To Reduce Your Tax Load Drastically, It Is A Choice by Gentlebabs(op): 10:47pm On Feb 07, 2020
Today, I'll attempt to elucidate on how taking up insurance policies helps you reduce your tax to the bearest minimum.

To a very large extent, only life insurance policies that have elements of risks can be used to reduce your tax. In Nigeria, with the introduction of the Bank Verification Number (BVN) linking all your accounts and Tax Identification Number (TIN), we are gradually getting to a point where your tax will be calculated to mathematical certainty and you will be notified Short Message Service (SMS) even though it is deducted at source for employees on a Pay As You Earn (PAYE) basis. For private business men, you are not exempted too. The tax authorities will not need to run afer you before you comply due to improved operational efficiency and technological advancement.

According to Adebisi and Gbegi, 2013, they postulated that "Irrespective of its values, tax evasion drastically reduces the amount of state budgets every year all around the countries globally. Tax evasion denies every government the tax revenue due to the system, which results in a gap between the potential and actual tax collection". When you deny the government an amount due to them in the form of tax, there will be grave consequences. Taxes are used to provide for national programs as defence; provision of social amenities like good roads, school, health care programs and amenities that improves human life. Therefore, any action taken to evade the assessment of tax, be it personal income tax or otherwise can land you in prison. However, our focus today is to show you why you need LIFE INSURANCE that gives you *tax advantage* and reduces your tax liabilities legally as long as you are alive. This is the choice of the wise, embrace it.

Let us attempt to cite an example. If you if you are paying twenty percent (20%) tax on your income and you have a *Life Insurance Policy* where you pay a premium of ten percent (10%), your tax will be reduced to ten percent (10%) according to the value of your policy. This gives you not only a huge tax rebate but also a life insurance benefit. Hear this quote by Suze Orman, "If a child, a spouse, a life partner or a parent depends on you and your income, you need life insurance. We all know our date of birth, but no one knows their date of death. As a breadwinner, in other not to throw your family to the uncertainty of life in the event of death (A debt we must all pay), you need a comprehensive life insurance that will grow with you.

If you are conversant with the workings of the contributory pension scheme in Nigeria, you will realise that you can also use the Additional Voluntary Contribution (AVC, accessible after 5 years now I think). AVC is the additional amount you contribute asides your employers statutory 10 percent and own 8 percent from your basic, housing and transport as access tax holiday, but this is not accessible annually. On mortage, you are also given some consideration and also on your children, the rebate is just about N2,500 (Two thousand Five Hundred Naira) per child for a maximum of 4 children per family. This puts insurance in an advantageous position, naturally. It is like your money coming back to you and they are all consolidated relief.

How To Access Tax Rebate With Beneficial Life Insurance Policies

(a) Take up a Life Insurance policy with a licensed insurance company.
(b) Pay your premium annually, semi-annually or monthly.
(c) Request for a tax rebate certificate from your insurer from the 1st of January every year. (I usually process and send you your certificate before you even ask).
(d) Submit it to your Accounts Department or the section in-charge of your tax for processing. It will usually show all the amount you paid in a year for insurance. What a smart way to knock down your tax.
(e) The rebate shall be computed based on your insurance premium and returned to you in arrears.
(f) Enjoy this plan and tell the beautiful story to your colleagues and friends, so that they too can benefit.

Yes, we have our differences
But when it comes to our collective will
Especially loss of our lives
We come together in one accord
One indivisible family

No longer shall they steal our lands
Never again will our lands be desecrated
If you cross the line
Things can change very fast
Because we are no longer at ease

Who is afraid of Amotekun?
If the morale is to give rest
And peace that has eroded us
While restoring our lost glory
Tell me my people, why not?

The God of vengeance is in the west
They tried to scuttle it

We won without firing a shot
Wisdom is greater than strenght

No going back
We will defend our pride
Our heritage
Our fatherland
Not with guns, powder nor machetes
Not with armoured carriers
But with powers ancestral

We will visit Egungun Oya
The god of divination
We will invoke Mawu
The god of the Sun and Moon
Have you heard about Babalu aiye?
The god of infectious diseases
Let the games begin

Omoluabi oooo! Omoluabi oh!!
"Bo ba d'ogun; ko d'ogun"
Where is Sango, the god of thunder?
"Gunugu ni oruko, ti an pe Ifa?"
"Okalamagbo ni oruko ti an pe awon Iya oshoronga"
"Abiamo ki gbo ekun omo re",
"Ki o ma ta si were"
"Oya, Amotekun oooo"

When the walls of Jericho fell
How many bullets were shot?
They stood on their father's faith
How was Judah and Jerusalem taken?
The red sea parted by the word
We too, shall speak the word
But now, the words our Ancestors

When the centre can no longer hold
Surely, things will fall apart
"Omo Yoruba, ronu"
Enough! No longer shall our lands be desecreted
Cast the cowries in the calabash
Let us inquire of our gods
Shall we pursue and reclaim?
Ready, set, "Amotekun dee"

A Poem: I Am A Fulani

I am a proud Fulani
Our culture is our heritage
When you loose your culture
You loose your life
Guide your culture with your might

No matter how affluent I become
In the ways of the white
I will still return home
To my age long tradition
The beautiful art of herdsmanship

I have travelled across Africa
With my destiny in my hands
You keep yours in your banks
My cows are my heritage
My tomorrow, my pride

What you peddle today
Is a false representation of history
The fulanis are not violent
We just want to do our thing
Just like you do your thing
In the coolness of your offices
Ours is in the field

We move with the tide
Where nature directs
Wherever we find peace is home
Apologies if we ever hurt you
Forgive if we trampled your farms

We are ready to make peace
Compensate to the last penny
To preserve the chord of oneness
That binds us together as one
One indivisible nation

Our diversity is our strength
In a very fine and blessed continent
The Fulani is a friend, not a foe
Let us unite my brothers
And make Africa great again
