It simple, ask them to open a social media account on Facebook, Twitter and probably LinkedIn with the same information which must be their full names.

This is what I can think of for now. I won't recommend running ads because I don't know how popular or rich your friend are plus it could be waste of money.

A strong social media presence with heir full names and occupations, interest, business (things people could use to search for them) would do.
