Bonzojoko: you can update/switch your card on starlink. I was using payday before but I switched card recently to gotok. It's easy. The new card will now be the card used for monthly transactions Thanks for the clarification |

Below is the message I got from Klasha If a new card is created for me, will I be able to update the details on my starlink account for future subscription debits by editing and saving my new card details? Has anyone been in this position before? Hi XXXX We are improving our Black Card to make it more seamless for your international transactions. To achieve this, we will terminate your Klasha Black Card and credit your funds into your Klasha wallet. During this upgrade, you won’t be able to create a new Black Card or complete transactions with your current Black Card online until the service is restored. The Pink Card is not affected by this upgrade, and it's still available for all your global transactions. Click here to fund your Pink Card. We are working on a replacement for the Black Card and will keep you updated on the progress of this resolution. We are truly sorry about any inconvenience this might cause you. Thanks, The Klasha Team 🖤

moodyguy: ORDER STARLINK High-speed, low-latency broadband internet in remote and rural locations across the globe. NGN19,260/mo with a one-time hardware cost of NGN268,584.
Is this the cost for starlink device N268,584 FOR HARDWARE and N19,260/Month for subscription No.. That is not the amount of NGN u will be parting with as payment is in USD and rate dependent. |

simeontos: This Elon musk guy has finally broken the data cap barrier from other service providers with his cheap and quality services, but it still baffles me that the acceptability is still very low, could it be that people are scared? I just finished installing one for my office, mehn.. the speed is something else. Another interesting thing is the fact that the speed you are getting from starlink with its price cannot be compared with a fibre optic monthly subscription. Guys can we give this guy a publicity.
Anyways I based in Abuja if anyone has a connect Not that the acceptability is low.. It's the price for the starter kit that is the problem.. Imagine if the starter kit is around 100/150K.. E go don flood naija like pure water But don't get it twisted ooo.. Plenty people don onboard starlink.. Personally, the stuff dey give me joy cos i don too waste money on top yeye ISPs. Now I am happy and satisfied with my Starlink |

Aim now achieved CavendishPlex called on phone and we did it together... I owe that guy two bottles of Heineken and Nwkwobi anywhere I jam am I have achieved exactly what I have been trying to since Powerful speed down and upstairs. Before this connection, I was getting 43/45Mbps downstairs, but now it has increased and network is strong as well

CavendishPlex: From my limited knowledge about Starlink (as I haven't acquired one yet), I don't think there's a need for you to bypass the Starlink modem since you still intend having access to it upstairs in and around your bedroom. I'm of the opinion this might be useful for people who use the mesh system with multiple nodes scattered around the house. Meanwhile, if you have to use the Starlink adapter connected to the modem, the connected LAN cable will go into the port marked blue. The other four (4) ports are there for you to make a direct LAN connection between that router and a device e.g. your TV, laptop, etc., thereby bypassing the Wi-Fi connection from that router. Thanks Cavendish I go try again when I reach house tonight and provide feedback |

seunpayne: This is very simple.
Configure the starlink as you want and make sure it is working and then also reset the tplink and plug the Ethernet cable.
Here is a fun fact, most of these devices are designed to work out of the box. So find the wifi signal of the router and connect to it. The password is usually written under it.
Make sure both wifi networks are browsing (starlink and router). If they are then you are ready for some customization.
Now connect to the tplink router and then open your browser (use a computer preferably) and go to 192.168.1.1 then hit enter. Username and password is admin
Now you can go ahead and change the name of your wifi to match the name you gave the starlink upstairs and make sure the password is the same as well.
Now test it. Browse from downstairs and move upstairs. Your phone would roam seamlessly without breaking signal. We are not done
Now log into the starlink and separate the networks. Rename the 5Ghz band to something else. So now you have two networks. The 2.4ghz band is both upstairs and downstairs and then the 5ghz band is only upstairs.
Now do three speed tests:
1. Speed test connected to the 5ghz wifi signal
2. Speed test connected to the 2.4ghz signal while you are upstairs
3. Speed test connected to the 2.4ghz signal while you are downstairs.
Let’s see the results and we can advice further.
So someone may tell you to give upstairs network and downstairs network two different names because of trouble shooting. This isn’t necessarily true. If you have an issue it’s one of two places. Either the router downstairs is having issues, in which case you will know by simply connecting to the 5ghz signal, or starlink is having issues which you would know the same way as well. I am not sure if this router has bridge mode but this initial setup should get you up and running for now. Thanks bro.. Will try it wen I get home tonight.. But u didn't mention 'bypass setting' or using the Starlink Ethernet Adapter.. Are u saying no need for me to go there on my starlink ROUTER or use the adapter? Then which if this TP-Link port should I plug in cable downstairs?

seunpayne: Omo…you for ask fess o.
Reset the starlink by on and off about 6 times then set it up again as normal
Then connect it to your router and setup but don’t enable the bypass yet.
Until everything is working, don’t enable bypass. Tell me what router you are using if you need extra info on setting it up Thank u oo my brother.. Na so for go spoil my starlink/router I don reset am back to normal and fear no even let me touch the ethernet adapter again If u can teach like ABC step by step This is wat i want to achieve Starlink Router is in my bedroom upstairs... We don already run ethernet cable from bedroom down to sitting room I want to be getting decent speed in the living room almost same as what I am getting in the bedroom

seunpayne: I’m not really sure what “all these” entails sha. It’s a two bedroom flat 2500sqf approx. I’ve got smart speakers littered all over (Amazon echo dots), smart lights and some nest sensors. I needed something that could broadcast across the entire space without the need for a mesh or extender. This Linksys did just that. I love the performance. I can stream games from my PS5 in the living room to my pc in my room lag free. The performance is dope. Oh yeah, I also got the Ethernet adapter. All this won’t happen without it. Bro... I will need ur assistance I commented my starlink adapter to my starlink Router and went to settings to choose 'Bypass Starlink wifi router' Took my 3rd party router downstairs, connected the ethernet cable into and nothing happened.. Had to disconnect everything But my starlink Router begin misbehave say 'my router dey bypass mode' I can't use it till I do manual factory reset.. I sweat oooo.. I be wan cry sef cos no be small wahala I do before I finally reset am Can u teach me aw to set up this and also setting for my 3rs party router.. aby4real: It finally came in today following delay due to the holiday. But the speed has not been more than 50MBps. Not sure if it's because it's 2.9 meters away from actual Service address or it's the place I kept the dish. I have tried the 5GHz Wifi as well, no noticeable improvement. Then it's been worse since it started raining this evening. Was even offline for some minutes. Still observing tho'... U will be fine... Just give it time to gather up... U will be pulling over 100Mbs by tomorrow.. The rain disturbed me a little as well but quickly picked up after a while... Not as bad as I was made to believe |

seunpayne: Don’t want to get into an argument with anybody. If it’s just ground floor you want to cover while having the Starlink upstairs, get a dual band router. Mesh solutions apart from being more expensive are not one-size-fits-all. Tp-link has dual band wifi 6 routers for less than 100k and you can get them in naija easily.
Tp-link AX1500 is a good example Tx a lot.. It's just the the ground floor (Living room I want to av quality network). This is what I am currently pulling downstairs in the living room with the Starlink Router placed upstairs in my bedroom Do you think I really need this other router/Starlink Ethernet Adapter or I should just continue enjoying my Starlink as it is Upstairs in the bedroom... Speed is up to 200Mbps Downstairs in the living room... 30/40Mbps

Stanley08: The performance will be noticeably worse. If you want good speeds, invest in a good mesh system like my boss @toluxa1 or at least a dual band router If i get a good dual band router, will I be fine? I don't understand how mesh works.. How can it serve me in this case? Can u recommend a good dual band router? Cos i cancelled my order for Starlink Ethernet Adapter first time. Now I av re-ordered same and I don't want to cancel again |
