tapinco2017: Starlink payment gateway system is confused honestly. Payday virtual card has refused to work including our Naira debit cards. So which way forward? I am sure they would have gotten the negative feedbacks and they will do something about it |

BadMaster: If this is it, then all our hopes have been dashed away.
The ethernet adapter costs $57, but now shows as N44,000, which means Starlink is using blackmarket rate at N771 to $1.
If you recall correctly, this same Ethernet adapter was N26,000 on the site before today. Damn

dustmalik: I can confirm that Starlink is making changes right now to the card detail field on the site. Before now and even earlier today, the MM/YY field was joined together, but have now been separated. It's now like this MM and YYYY.
I believe it's only a matter of time before they send an official communication to us. I noticed this morning.. Saw my orders/subscriptions showing in NGN |

dustmalik: Klasha's rate is now #790, up from #763 that it was for a long time, probably because of the naira devaluation by the new administration. We are in trouble in this country. Wow.. I don see am oo... Na the naira devaluation I still get $111 for my wallet.. Na him I go take pay for my next 2 starlink Subscription |

seunpayne: The backlash will be mad!!! Because it’s gonna role up everyone who bought at black market rate. They can mitigate this by converting the difference to subscription for the early adopters but I doubt they will make it that cheap.
They would update the price to reflect the rate fintechs are using and then accept naira payments. I’m sure they would also keep the pay in dollar option too for people that readily have forex.
I think the best thing that can happen to payments in Nigeria is for PayPal to allow naira payments directly. Regardless of the rate. That will open our market big time and other services (google, meta, Amazon) will follow I agree |
