> ![]() What is Yahaya Bello running from? PETER FAYOSHE of Ekiti state went directly to the EFCC headquarters immediately he completed his tenure, they didn't kill him, so why you dey hide under your Godson yansh? |
Ofunaofu:It's obvious you're an educated illiterate, undervalue means the value of the naira is too low and it will eventually go up, no sensible human will say naira will crash even further at 1900. |
ValarDoharis:This is a sharp contradiction to the comments on the thread where Abure was announced winner here on Nairaland, why do you guys lie pathologically? |
![]() Let's watch how the psychopaths obidients reacts to this, just last week they were happy that Abure won a national convention where there was no ward, local government or state election. If any other party tries this the kind of backlash they would get would be too monstrous, but it's the Labour Party and they are all saints.. They even said Tinubu is using NLC to destabilise Abure lead Lp... Fast forward to a few days later, Obi just disown the sham of an election and rightfully so. The hypocritical obedient are just gonna switch side and opinion, they would just say Tinubu is using Abure to stop Peter Obi from becoming the president.. These psychopathic and hypocritical idiology is why I will never take the Obidient movement serious. |
ValarDoharis:Going off topic is one the basic sign of a nonentity, we are talking about dollar and Naira, I don't care about Tinubu or the money he's saving. |

phorget:We are not producing anything because just a fraction of the country is productive, also the basic amenities and infrastructure needed to aid productivity like ease of access to capital, electricity, security and the rest have not been made available by the Government, that is the real problem. however irrespective of this constraints, a lot of Young people are still thriving, Facebook has just announced that Nigerian can monitise their account very soon, PAYMENT would probably be in dollar just like other Giant companies, the Internet has created variety of ways to be productive, the content creators, yahoo boys (illegal) and the rest. So you see? We are not completely useless, when the Naira was floated, it was expected to find it's real value, which should not be more than 1000 in my opinion (again because we are not completely useless in terms of productivity) that was when the saboteur and greedy people sets in, they wanted to sabotage the economy, and inflict pain on the citizens of Nigeria while making a lot of money from him, this people include the illegal bdc, wicked politians that were doing it for their selfish gain, and a part of the country whose only intention and prayer is to see the country fail. Tinubu has fought so these people so hard for the currency to have returned to this stage, we are not that useless for the dollar to have traded at 1900 in the first place. |
![]() They want Nigeria to fail. When the Naira was going down they kept shouting Tinubu, when it went up they said it's Artificial because we are not productive enough and we have nothing to export, why didn't you guys say this when the Naira was going down? Some want the Naira to go back to 400, Financial morons, the CBN was using a lot of money to peg dollar at that price, it wasn't making sense anymore because you can't continue to subsidise the dollar, you know the worst part? All the people importing were not even getting it at the official price, it was the black market that they get the dollar to import and sell for me and you, so who are the people getting the subsidised dollar? Your big men and politicians, they can easily get 1m dollars from the CBN for 400 million naira and sell it in the black market for 700 million, that's 300 million profit without breaking a sweat. Should Tinubu continue this way? Never! |
kimjongJezebel:You're trying to be mischievous, your divide and rule tactics cannot work, the reason it can't work is because we are too mixed to discriminate against ourselves. |
![]() I just can't wait for Obaseki to leave, he's done absolutely nothing in the past 8 years, Oshiomole was a thief but he remain the best Governor Edo state ever had. |
This was their real intention abinitio. A coup!! |

Validated:Just like I said, Reno's recommendation is very flawed, however there are different part of a report, what am telling you is that the basis of his argument makes sense to anybody that has a clue about Finance, the way you guys are taking it as if it's total nonsense is abysmal, a report cannot be perfect, but someone else could work on a similar report and find a lot of information in Reno's work very useful, the person might come out with a different recommendation, that is it, people should start behaving like the educated people that they are. |
Validated:Don't quote me wrong okay? A developing country who's also looking for foreign investment cannot even afford to drive out a company like mtn, however Reno has also point, Mtn has become too big and now they take out a lot of money from the Nigeria economy every year, i am not a layman when it comes to finance, but the way una carry the matter put for head, 80 percent of you guys doesn't even know the meaning of capital flight, that that is exactly what he is basing his argument on, i wrote a report on this same topic so I know exactly his point, however his recommendation about boycotting MTN doesn't make sense, that does not make his argument stupid, you guys are looking it from your layman sense of view. |
There is something called Capital flight, mtn makes all the money and then repatriate them in dollar to South Africa, while I don't entirely agree with Reno, a lot of people here sound like illiterate and it's so disgusting, this is the same reason a lot of you are are not employable, you know nothing about simple terms like capital flight or inequality in balance of payment. |

RingRoadCartel:You well so? |
matify83: ![]() You're so poor, and you have chosen not to try to improve your life because you're very lazy and your pastor told you that your family people is your problem, so you have to always blame your village people and Tinubu for all your problems. The Internet has created so many jobs in Nigeria and you should know that those 7 percent that left you in poverty to better their lives are laughing you right now. For any avoidance of doubt, the Internet has created a lot of jobs for a lot of people but it has nothing to do with the government, so no government can take credit for that. I will advise you to look for a way to make money with your data, you can just open a tiktok account and start saying nonsense, if luck shines on you then you Don blow be that, most social media sites will pay you, you start influencing products and brands starts paying you, heck, X (formally twitter) now pays just for sitting in your house and posting, I know it's not easy but this people are one of the 7 percent people that left you in this poverty, others include the so called yahoo boys, bloggers, freelancers, forex traders, crypto traders, content creators and so much more, but here you are in your house discrediting the accuracy of a world bank statistics, go work on your life bro, no be everything be politics. |

Barely hours after the Central Bank of Nigeria dissolved the boards and managements of Union Bank of Nigeria, Keystone Bank and Polaris Bank over alleged corporate governance infractions and non-compliance with regulatory requirements, the financial regulatory body appointed new executive directors to oversee the affairs of the deposit money banks.Source https://punchng.com/meet-union-banks-new-ceo-yetunde-oni/?amp
